Que vous regardiez les sports de baleines dans la baie ou que les vagues s’écroulent sur la digue et Ă  travers la corne, il est difficile d’obtenir un angle plus dramatique dans La capitale mondiale de l’observation des baleines. Commencez votre journĂ©e en marchant vers Pirate’s Coffee, flĂąnez dans les magasins sur le front de la baie, dĂ©gustez de dĂ©licieux fruits de mer au restaurant Tidal Raves ou arrĂȘtez-vous au Whale’s Tale pour une excursion en zodiac sur l’eau pour chasser les mammifĂšres marins.

Tout est Ă  portĂ©e de main dans cette maison de deux Ă©tages dotĂ©e de parquet, d’un mobilier contemporain, d’un foyer au gaz, d’un salon et de grandes fenĂȘtres pour admirer la vue des oiseaux de mer et des baleines. La belle cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e scintille de carreaux de verre et un coin-repas rend les repas vraiment extraordinaires. À l’étage supĂ©rieur, une trĂšs grande chambre avec vue sur l’ocĂ©an et une salle de bain complĂšte avec baignoire Ă  remous. La deuxiĂšme chambre a Ă©galement son propre bain, ce qui en fait une destination idĂ©ale pour deux couples. Vous ĂȘtes parfaitement prĂȘt pour des excursions faciles Ă  Newport et Ă  Lincoln City, mais vous risquez de rester sur le banc au bord de votre falaise au bord de l'ocĂ©an, en regardant la mer et le ciel, ou en dĂ©gustant un verre de vin au Horn Public House. lorsque le bateau entre dans le port de Depoe Bay. A very nice, clean condo with gorgeous view. Very convenient parking spot. I read some of the reviews that said it’s outdated. Maybe a couple things, not troublesome at all. Some very fun mirrors throughout. And smaller bedroom has some wonderful vintage type furnishings. I certainly would recommend staying here.

Parking was super tight. Tiny kitchen with breaker tripping when using oven, microwave and toaster oven simultaneously. Worst was opting for late checkout to be ambushed by noise from HOA repair people and no apologies or discounts from property management. Won’t be returning.

Place was dirty (did get a cleaning deposit refund) , furniture worn, ripped. No current on master bedroom window that overlooks a public seating area. Rodent traps in living room and kitchen. Exposed electrical wiring, etc, etc. Disappointing to say the least. Depoe Bay itself was great, lots of whale sightings!

“The stay was comfortable overall, but the place felt quite outdated. The floors were uneven, the kitchen showed obvious water damage, and the exterior was covered in moss and needed cleaning. The key code was dialed into on the box below and open for all to see, which didn’t feel very secure. Tenants around were a bit odd, though that’s not really on the host.”

The condo is in an excellent location with an unobstructed view of the ocean. Beautifully decorated and has a cozy vibe. The third bathroom is a plus. The parking is very convenient and you can also leave your car at the condo and walk to all the shops and restaurants. Possible downsides: As others have mentioned the second bedroom with the full bed has a worn mattress. Our granddaughter slept in that bedroom and found the mattress not very comfortable. Also, the flooring does need to be replaced especially in the kitchen area. The flooring would not deter us from staying there again. Overall a very nice condo unit.

The unit was clean and very functional but furniture needs upgrading. A lot of lights weren’t functional and the fireplace only worked sporadically. Kitchen floor was uneven and some teflon cookware needs to be replaced due to scratches which is unhealthy. Blinds in the bedroom did not work. We contacted the host twice about some problems but 2nd time no one showed up. That said location was perfect. Beautiful views and within walking distance to town.

Just what we needed

Our stay at the oceanfront condo was nothing short of magical. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with breathtaking views of the Pacific that seemed to stretch endlessly in both directions. The condo itself had a warm, inviting feel that made us feel instantly at home—clean, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed.Depoe Bay offered just the right balance of charm and activity—enough to explore without ever feeling rushed. We especially loved strolling the scenic walking paths, where every turn seemed to offer a postcard-worthy view or a quiet moment of reflection by the sea.A perfect escape that fed both our sense of adventure and our need to unwind.

The parking for this unit was odd and the curbs were difficult to manage even in my small car. We walked into the unit late in the evening to rat turds in the kitchen, living room, and stairway to the bedrooms. We swept them up only to have more the next evenings. The ad was not clear about the stairway or that the living room was sunken. This and the pealing/warped flooring covered with throw rugs made it difficult for my elderly mother to move safely around. The master bedroom did not have a curtain or blinds on the large windows which was not a problem for me as a sleep with a sleep mask but it could have been hard for someone else as there was a spot light from across the bay that shown in the window all night.The whale watching and storm watching was amazing though.

Upon arrival we encountered numerous issues, including:Significant water damage to the laminate flooring and walls in the kitchen. To the point that walking on the floor, it's obviously rotted the subfloor.Human hair balls are present on the floor.A dirty, heavily stained rug in the living room.There were no bath towels.The master bed was made with visibly dirty sheets, contained holes, and did not fit the bed properly, leaving the mattress pad exposed.The washing machine had clearly leaked, as towels had been placed underneath it to absorb water and left. The smell from the area was repulsive. A broken shower nozzle in the bathroom.An ant trap placed directly on the cooktop.The blinds in the master bedroom had been removed because they were broken and not replaced.The blinds in the living room were broken and unusable.Broken/damaged furniture throughout the living room.These conditions were unacceptable. We contacted the property management company promptly to report these concerns, but no action was taken to address or resolve any of the issues. No effort was made to make the situation right. Had we known this information before arriving, we would not have booked the condo. This condo should not be listed on VRBO, in the condition it is in. The pictures that are listed on VRBO are not an accurate description of the property.

The big issue with this home is the 2nd bedroom room mattress that clearly needed to be replaced, it’s old and worn out. We brought this up immediately with the property manager and was offered an air mattress. For the price, it was unacceptable. Something basic for a vacation rental to have a decent mattress. Doesn’t matter on firmness but should have a mattress that is not worn out. Rest of the house was fine but could use some updating, good view. I would not recommend for the reason of it lacked a bed that could be slept on.

Beautiful cove

For a spur of the moment, one night trip, it was awesome! The Townhouse was clean, well kept, and beautiful. The day time traffic kind of overpowered the sound of the waves, but once night set in, it was perfect! It was my first time staying here but I would definitely book it again!

Amazing

The location was perfect. The upstairs Master Bedroom has the best view! It was so nice having a fireplace to cozy up. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. Perfect little spot for a family vacation at Depoe Bay

Well-maintained. Family home. We were 2 couples and were able to make small meals and enjoy them together in a relaxing space. All details are accurate. Saw a pod of grey whales on our first day from the upstairs window.

Amazing Ocean View

Amazing view of Depoe Bay. Overall, we had a good time. The location is great and we were able to get some glimpses of the whales. The only issue we had was the stove did not work properly. The stove needs to be replaced. If you plan on cooking, you may want to check to see if stove has been repaired/replaced.
