We loved this home. It had everything you need. The beds were comfy. The house is cool and breezy. The beach is literally right across the road and the water is crystal clear. The kitchen has all you need even a blender which was great. The lounges were comfy. The patio is covered and great for relaxing. Rarotonga is an awesome peaceful island. There is various coffee spots nearby and restaurants. We would stay again. The host was so accommodating. Thank you so much. Meitaki.

This place was perfect for us..there were meant to be more than two of us ....it would have been fine for at least four people very spacious very well equipped especially the kitchen which had things such as a blender and a coffee press and everything you could want for food prep including weber. also washing machine Wi-Fi good pillows and shower. the villa is spacious and clean and tidy. no seaview from however lush greenery around the front of the villa and directly across the road from the beach which was very convenient. if you are staying here you can use the bus service that goes both ways around the island on the hour. we hired a car because we did a lot of tiki touring. little extras that you want and plenty of room to spread yourself out and enjoy your stay

Lovely position over the road from the beach some road noise but not annoying. Cottage was clean well set up and a pleasure to stay in. We spent most of our time eating outside on the Veranda which was lovely . We met some of the lovely local dogs during our stay , especially old Betty, we will be back.

A great little home away from home. Everything was clean. Ceiling fans and design keep it pleasantly cool on muggy nights. The beds are very comfortable (but there is no longer a pullout bed as shown in some photos). Villa 1 has better sea views, but Villa 2 is better protected from wind and traffic noise. The bedrooms are at the back, and the road is fairly quiet overnight, so being on the main road is not a problem. The kitchen is well equipped - even a Magic Bullet for making your own cocktails! The BBQ is great. The shower and beach towels are good quality. Gas hot water so the shower never ran cold. There is a strong current at the beach immediately opposite but walk a few hundred metres up towards the Palm Grove and the snorkeling is good. Food and cocktails at The Yellow Hibiscus are heartily recommended.

Happy little house next to the beach

Convenient location just 10 seconds walk to the beach / turtle excursions. All mod cons & thoughtful kitchen details provided. Plenty of parking. Very friendly cats & dogs amble by to say hello.

Holiday

This was the second time staying at the property and it was just as comfortable and peaceful as the first time. Quiet location across the road from the beach and everything you need provided in the villa for a comfortable stay. We will probably be back!

Great place to stay

The property is conveniently close to the beach, just a few steps across the road.Wigmores supermarket a 2 min drive away, they have most things you'll need as well as a takeaway. Great coffee a few houses down in the opposite direction. The property itself also has all you need. Full kitchen, washing machine, dinning table, comfy beds and a great shower

Perfect location

We had an amazing stay at the villa. Right across from the beach, perfect for rolling out of the bed and into the ocean. Also right across from several turtle snorkelling groups. A short walk to Wigmore's Superstore and a water tank to refill bottles which was necessary in the heat. Would recommend a car or scooter to get around as it is a little far from the main centres.

Great wee house across the road from a beautiful beach

We loved our stay in this house. It had everything needed to be self sufficient and a beautiful beach just across the road that was perfect for swimming. It is on a main road so can be a little noisy during the day but wasn’t a problem at night. The bed was comfy and the shower was amazing. The only thing I could fault is the room that the toilet is in could be a little cleaner but other than that everything was perfect.

Felt right at home

It was just like staying in a Bach in NZ - homely touches like books and games and some swimming gear left from previous families. Loved the plastic kayak too. Yes the road has some traffic, (during the day) but you are so close to a lovely swimming beach and we liked being away from the busyness of Muri personally. We felt really self contained and peaceful in the house.

The villa was spacious and equipped with everything we needed. The supply of books and snorkelling gear was an added bonus, as was the washing machine. We enjoyed being a mere 30 steps across the road to a gorgeous beach. As we like to snorkel, the villa was well positioned between two great spots - Aroa beach and Fruits of Rarotonga. We were a bit concerned before we went about the proximity to the road. It could be noisy at times but feel this is reflected in the reasonable price and it didnt impact on our overall enjoyment of the villa. The bedrooms are at the back of the villa, and traffic virtually disappears by 9pm, so we slept well every night. It is less than a 25 minute walk to Wigmores store which was very handy - particularly for their mango sorbet ice creams! Would defintely recommend this villa. Great value for money!
