Great place nice owners

Graystone Cottage is a lovely place to stay, very clean and well decorated with plenty of space. Outside space is great and topped off with an awesome hot tub.

Awesome Stay!

This house is a favorite of ours - fireplace, hot tub, well stocked kitchen, close to Whiteface, and EXCELLENT HOSTS! We enjoyed a snowy holiday weekend on the slopes and cozied in the house after. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Worth a return trip

We enjoyed our second stay at Graystone Cottage. The cottage meets all our needs. We especially enjoyed the hot tub this trip. The hosts are very friendly and responsive.

Beautiful Home

This house was perfect for our needs. The location is great for hiking high peaks and then having the hot tub to come back to was a huge plus! The house was very clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot for skiing at whiteface mt!

We stayed here for a ski weekend/ son’s ski race at whiteface. It was perfect. Good communication, clean, comfortable, hot tub, close to the mountain. We will definitely be booking this house again.

Ski get away!!

This was a great house for our family to stay in to ski at whiteface and enjoy Lake Placid. Beautiful house with a great kitchen and deck. Communication was amazing.

We enjoyed our stay at this cute cottage. It was conveniently located close to Whiteface. It was clean and comfortable, and it had everything we needed. The beds were cozy. The owners even cleared a path in the snow around the entire house so that we could walk our little dog more easily. Our only very minor complaint was that they use air fresheners in the house, and we are very sensitive to strong smells. But we recommend this rental, and we’d stay here again.

We are so glad that you enjoyed the home! We hope to have you back again in the future. I did want to clarify that the system used in the home is an essential oil system, so it is not your typical “air freshener” because, as you stated, people can be sensitive. The brand is Pura, and the oils are clean and safe. It is also something that can be turned off by guests at any time.

Nicely decorated house with plenty of room. Exceptionally well stocked toiletries, kitchen, linens and towels. Hot tub was very nice. New appliances. A private setting yet close to local attractions. Simple check in/check out process. Would book again!

So close to Whiteface!

The living room could use a bigger seating arrangement, but the house was charming, the hot tub was super clean and the location couldn’t have been better.

Excellent Stay

This is the second time we have stayed at this house. It is a cozy place for a get away for my wife and I. The tub was a bonus for relation after a day of hiking. I highly recommend staying here. We hope to return next year.

The home was perfect for our purpose, which was to have family together on Thanksgiving. The home comfortably accommodated six people (two were children) and an old Labrador Retriever. It had all the expected amenities and more. I word I used several times to describe this home was, "lovely." It was home away from home. Loved it!

Bathrooms and kitchen are newer and clean. Bathrooms well stocked with clean towels. Kitchen appliances and utensils in good condition. We comfortably cooked dinners during our stay. Cleaning supplies were accessible with dish soap and laundry detergent for a few loads. Hot tub included extra towels. Hot tub also clean and functioning properly. We were very comfortable staying here for a few days with our two boys. Owners were kind and responsive. Would definitely stay here again if we return to this area.

a welcoming retreat

wonderful week hiking the adirondacks!! house was clean and comfortable. absolutely nothing to complain about. great back yard and hot tub for hanging out. house was close to many hikes and a close drive to Lake Placid.
