Fantastic location, Hosts were very kind and responsive to our last minute request to bring our pup. The cabin is very clean and well stocked. Hot tub was excellent!

Swept away

We were in this house for five nights. Our initial impression was not good. The grass was freshly mowed and slightly wet so it was impossible to get it off of your shoes. A boot scraper would have been good. The only broom supplied was in horrible shape and no vacuum was accessible. The bushes in front of the house were growing up onto the steps of the deck. We did appreciate the "wipe your paws" towels but we had to constantly keep trying to sweep up grass clippings in the house even though we swept off our shoes and took them off at the entryway.The layout of the house is such that the bathroom is at the other end of the house from the bedroom. The Propane stove in the dining area was nice and we liked having a dog crate for our dog. Sorry, but we would not recommend this house.

Great getaway weekend at this cozy and comfortable cabin. The hot tub was an added bonus. Loved the fireplace and coffee bar that made relaxing easy. Our hosts were very timely in response and willing to help quickly with our questions. A wonderful place to stay!

This cabin was perfect for our holiday getaway this winter! It was easy to get to and checking in was a breeze. The cabin had everything we needed. The fireplace made our evenings extra cozy. We dined at a few local restaurants in Wilmington and spent a day in Lake Placid. The location of the cabin was very convenient. Andrew and Lacey are great hosts! We can’t wait to come back!

Lovely ADK lodge

Beautiful little getaway spot! Cozy and tucked away just enough to feel woodsy, but not too far from so many great things to do! Loved our stay, especially hot tubbing after hiking in the gorgeous fall Adirondack mountains!

Awesome!

Perfect couples' getaway! The weather wasn't ideal, but the hot tub and fireplace definitely came in handy after some cold muddy hikes. Great location and very well-equipped house, expect we would return the next time we visit!

Weekend Getaway

Cute and cozy cabin - incredible few days of unwinding and relaxation. The location is perfect - off the road enough to feel very secluded. We really enjoyed being able to unwind while being close enough to hikes and activities. Perfect for a couples weekend or small family getaway.

Great spot to experience Lake Placid and Whiteface

If you're looking for a cozy, comfortable well equipped cottage to explore Whiteface/Lake Placid look no further. Thoughtful renovations, great ambience with a gas fireplace. Owners were great to work with!

Comfy and Just Great

Really terrific property with everything included. Hands on host and pride of ownership shows. Exceptionally clean and great amenities. Lots of hiking and activities to do in the area. You won’t be disappointed.

Second time staying at the Red Loj and made more incredible memories. First completing the Whiteface Uphill Bike Race (hubby), And energy left to spare hike the nature trails in Lake Placid and Wilmington area with our puppy. Thanks to our hosts for another great break away from the world.

Cozy getaway

We have stayed in Wilmington many times, first time at this house, and we loved it! So clean, very comfortable, and the owners were so helpful. We hope to return, and highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

Great Cabin Stay!

The property was a cozy cabin very close to Whiteface ski mountain and a 20 min drive to the center of Lake placid! The cabin had so many thoughtful things in it! It was a perfect cabin to come back to after long days of skiing. I would stay here again in a heartbeat !

Relaxing Couples Getaway

Our stay was relaxing from start to finish. The house was located conveniently to main roads while being far enough away to give a far away feel. Unwinding in the hot tub and sitting by the fire were the perfect way for us to spend our weekend.
