Great location

We wanted someplace central to The White Mountains hiking areas, but close to restaurants and shops. Right in the center of downtown Lincoln was perfect. Check in was easy and the stay was very comfortable.

Great Location, Spacious!

The location is amazing. We stayed in the summer for the weekend and the town was beautiful. We adventured to the Flume Gorge, toured Lincoln and Woodstock. Would recommend all. There’s also plenty of outdoor recreation and dining as well. The unit is spacious. The master bedroom mattress is an adventure of its own (well worn in is an understatement), but the unit was clean, had everything you would need for a weekend or more, and the Nordic Inn has plenty of amenities as well!

Perfect location

We have stayed at the Nordic Inn plenty of times and this time was just as memorable. Great stay! Clean unit everything worked fine! Only rule I would adjust is to not count on renters to run and empty dishwasher. We had to be out by 10 am so that means waking up super early to eat and then run and wait for the dishwasher. Any other unit just had us run the dishwasher which is what we did because we wouldn’t have made it out on time if we stayed to empty it. Still a 5 star stay.

Had some communication difficulties with manager. The heat in the condo was high and had to run ACs to cool it. No cable TV but DVD player. Slight Moldy odor. Beds comfortable and clean otherwise. Walked to restaurant and enjoyed the warm weather.

The hallway leading to the condo smelled so bad we had to hold our noses and mouth. It smelled like old fish. The condo didn’t smell that much better either. Even after buying a candle it only helped slightly. The people above us walked all night from 11pm-3am. The room with both beds were hard as rocks. The whole experience has put me off from vacationing for a while. I definitely won’t be back to this place for sure. We left at 4:30 the day before we were set to leave because we desperately needed a peaceful and comfortable sleep.

Hi Alicia, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following: - While we try to accommodate all of our guests' comfort, mattress taste is subjective, and we have never received any complaints about this in the past. Both of our mattresses are considered to be firm and we're sorry the mattress didn't meet your preferences. - It has been a very wet, damp, and rainy season. The hallways are common areas for ten different vacation homes. We wish you had reached out during your stay so we could have tried to relocate you to another unit in a different section of the complex. - Unfortunately, although we work hard to provide a great environment for all guests, external factors like the neighbors are simply out of our control. We always work with guests if issues arise and apologize that we were unable to come to the resolution you were hoping for. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future travelers will have a relaxing experience!

Needs updating!

We weren't psyched with this condo for several reasons. Yes, the building is older but this condo is in need of a serious update. There are repairs that need attention (the master bedroom windows dont open, the towel bar is ripped out of the wall in one of the bathrooms, the master bedroom ceiling needs repair...), the beds are TERRIBLE, and the furnishings are just... tired. While the surfaces were generally clean, the floors were covered with food crumbs (to the point that we needed to sweep little piles aside) and light bulbs were burned out and in need of replacement. The pool is decent and the location is right across from Loon. Regardless, we didn't have great weather so rather than hanging out in the condo, we decided to just go home early. So, definitely a fail in our book.

Hi Meg, thank you for your review. We wanted to pass along the following response from the owners: "We wish you had contacted us during your stay so we could have taken care of anything you may have needed! -We are in the process of replacing the builder-grade window cranks with Andersons. Because of so many winter rentals, this has been a bit difficult to schedule without impacting the guest's privacy. If we had been alerted, we would have instructed our maintenance staff to go in and open the windows. As far as the ceiling, there is about a two-foot by two-foot damaged area where we had a leak this winter. Again, because of scheduled reservations, maintenance has been unable to address this. -There is a sign in the unit that alerts guests as to where replacement light bulbs and batteries can be found (in the cabinet above the refrigerator). -As far as updating the unit, in the past two years, we have installed laminate flooring, ceramic floor tiling in bathrooms and on the kitchen backsplash, and Trex decking on the outside patio. We have also purchased all new bed linens. -We truly apologize for your concerns and they will be addressed as soon as possible. Thank you for your valuable feedback and your stay."

Worst unit we have stayed in here

I've stayed at this location for over 6 years, this was by far the worst unit we've rented. when we arrived it was 85 degrees in the unit, and it smelt moldy/musty, had to go purchase a candle to make things smell better. It took the AC's a good 5 hours to get that under control. Dirty/stained towels, one of the bathrooms, the sink had no hot water (knob did nothing) the other knob when you turned the water on it leaked out all over the vanity top. Beds were hard as rocks, one had a terrible mattress cover which felt like you were sleeping on lint balls. Pillows all smelt disgusting. Couch was old and you sunk basically to the floor while sitting on it. Light switches in the rooms did nothing in regards to lighting. Disappointed would be an understatement.

The place was clean but dated. We specifically picked this place because my friend lives in Panama and wanted a fireplace. When it didn’t work I emailed the email provided with no answer. I then sent a text message with the manager who then called me. Said well because it’s a holiday weekend I most likely can’t get someone out there to fix it. Well, yes I know it’s a holiday weekend, that’s why I was there. Not happy. Place is dated with no door knob on one room, it is dark and windows required you to push them out vs just cranking in/out. Pool and exercise facilities are decent. Location is good.

Great stay could use some upgrades

We found this rental in a great location with lots amenities and plenty of room. Only downside was only one shower works and it could use some tlc. Nothing that would stop us from returning though.

I’ve been renting for a couple of decades in New Hampshire but it’s my first time being quite disappointed with a property. The beds, especially the king size, was uncomfortable and old (pillows also uncomfortable).The master had the corner ceiling with bad patch work that was peeling and several holes in the walls near window. Window cranks in master did not work. Carpet in master had visible wear and tear and damage. Couches in living room were so old that when you sat you just sank in. The size of the property was great but in need of some TLC. The Inn itself is also dated and hallways have an unpleasant odor. The amenities open at 9am and close at 8:45pm; rather early when you are on vacation and want to enjoy the pool and game room after dinner. The property has potential but won’t be staying here again.

Great spot on lincoln!!

The host was great, gave me a call due to the cleaner stating an AC didn't work (which I was able to figure out prior to her calling) but she called and was beyond pleasant, stated if we needed anything to not hesitate to reach out. You don't see that much anymore these days! Condo was just as described, plenty of room for our family of 4, kids had the room with 2 beds. there was 2 full bathrooms. property overall was great, if you've been to Lincoln before, its in a perfect location.

Nice 2 bedroom property is nice for bigger families who don't want to stay all in 1 room. The kitchen is nice for preparing meals and saving on eating out every meal. The pool and play area is really nice for the kids. Close to a lot to do, both in winter and in summertime.

Ski Vacation

The location and view of Loon Mountain was great, easy access to things at the mountain and restaurants in Lincoln and Woodstock. The room was clean but Nordic Inn could use some refurbishing. My contact person was difficult to reach, I had tried to reach her before I left and got no response and then sent through some things I had found at the condo, leaky faucets, and shower head if not in a particular position, noisy fan in both bathrooms so noisy didn't use it, no drain stopper for kitchen sink and still had difficulty reaching her. None of these things needed immediate attention but had I needed help with something I didn't feel confident I could reach her. There should be 2 keys when 6 people are in the condo and there was only 1, supposedly the key fit the back entrance but it didn't. It needs to be clearly communicated that the lock box for the key is not the room number for the room that is rented, it was not clear how to access the room on the second floor. There should also be a way to get more soap and towels if needed possibly put it in the information provided to the renter.

Hi Karen, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: -We communicated with you multiple times during your stay. We hadn't had these concerns from previous guests, and you stated they didn't need to be addressed until you checked out. -After you left, we had our maintenance man check on your concerns. He found that a plug for the lamp was not completely engaged in the outlet. He found no leaking faucets. He did find one noisy ceiling fan, which will be replaced in a few weeks. We appreciate feedback your feedback.
