Cabines de type service forestier Ă  30 milles de Missoula -

Le ELKHORN CABIN est un chalet de chasse et de pĂȘche RUSTIQUE construit au dĂ©but des annĂ©es 1960. Rock Creek Cabins est Ă  40 min. du centre-ville et de l'aĂ©roport de Missoula. IsolĂ© de la route principale Ă  environ un demi-mile mais toujours avec en quelques minutes de pĂȘche au ruban bleu. Les Ă©quipements sont rustiques avec une dĂ©pendance organique juste Ă  l'arriĂšre et une salle de douche Ă  60 pieds. Il y a une cuisine complĂšte avec cuisiniĂšre Ă©lectrique, rĂ©frigĂ©rateur, eau courante froide (sauf heure d'hiver) cafetiĂšre et grille-pain. Pots et casseroles-- plats--. draps et couvertures, poĂȘle Ă  bois avec bois fourni. Il y a 3 lits queen dont un convertible. Dvd tv mural et films. Il y a aussi un petit ruisseau Ă  truites juste devant la porte arriĂšre.

Il y a un petit ruisseau les vents à travers la propriété pleine de truites fardées.
Randonnée juste derriÚre la porte des falaises et une vue sur la région de Rock Creek.

Isolé à un demi-mile de la route principale. Blue Ribbon Fishing un mile par chemin. Ski de fond --- conduire à ski

The location and facilities of this gem are perfect for those wanting to get off grid and spend time enjoying the best of Montana. The cabin is rustic as described but the kitchen, shower, and outhouse facilities are convienient. Mike is a great host, very helpful and good for some great tips on fishing spots. Supplies are only about a few miles away if needed. A peaceful spot near some great fishing, I will be back!

We really enjoyed our 3 day stay at the Elkhorn cabin! Everything you need and much more comfortable than tent camping in the pouring rain. The cabin does have an outhouse so if you’re not expecting a flush toilet, may want to look for something a little fancier. We will be back, thanks for your hospitality Mike!

Great little place well off the beaten path. Anglers paradise, seconds from Rock Creek. Moose off the back porch two mornings in a row and a couple full curl rams just around the corner. Rustic little cabin with all the amenities of home. Less the intrusion of internet and cell. Outstanding place to stay if your in the Clinton Missoula area.

Perfect

Breathtakingly beautiful location, the cabin was a perfect home away from home when we weren’t out hiking or fishing. It was so fun to have the creek and wildlife right out the door. Rock Creek cabins are a dream!!!

Love the Elkhorn cabin on Brewster Creek! Great hiking, flora and fauna, and some gold mining history thrown in. Mike is communicative, delightful, and a wealth of information. Didn't want to leave. Looking forward to next time.

Peaceful and rejuvenating

If peace is what you are looking for, this is it! We got a much needed rejuvenation. Was a cute little cabin in a very quiet setting with a stream running close enough to hear while dozing off to sleep. Will definitely be back when its not raining to take advantage of the campfire!

Wilderness and fishing!

Wilderness and fishing! Being one who is not a fishing enthusiast, it was still a delightfully wonderful off grid experience. Calm, quiet, zillions of stars and the kindest host one could imagine. Played by guitar and relaxed amid the sounds of gurgling rock creek. Highly recommend.

In the woods

One needs to be ready for a true camping experience not glamping. It truly is a rustic setting and camping style of old time mountain man. If you looking for glamorous camping trip you best find something else. Beautiful setting with wild life all about.

Excellent rustic experience

We chose a rustic cabin with cold running water. Bathroom is an outhouse and shower is a separate short walk from cabin. Has hot water! Very simple and delightful stay with all the basics we needed. Mike is very engaging and helpful. We will be returning.

Wilderness cabin...

As stated in listing this is a very rustic cabin. It is so remote we saw Big Horn Sheep everyday. I really enjoyed it but was a bit rough for my wife and daughter. We had fun and Michael was awesome... very helpful and informative. I'd recommend it for those outdoor types who don't mind walking to the outhouse...lol. Great trout fishing nearby.

Unforgettable Experience

This is a hunting camp. The water comes from a creek, and there is an outhouse. It is old, and it is not luxurious in any way. But if you like having a trout stream out back and possibly a big horn sheep in the yard, you will love it like we did. Our dog liked it even better.

Great Cabin!

The electricity and cold sink water felt like glamping! We had bighorn sheep and deer in the yard. Such a great experience and comfortable for the price. This is off grid but you have service just a few miles away. PERFECT getaway near Missoula!

Friendly host, beautiful wilderness, and a rustic cabin full of charm

Our stay was perfect! We called Mike, the property owner, to get instructions to the cabin, and he was so friendly and gave easy instructions to find the place. When we arrived, he had started a fire in the wood stove for us to warm up the cabin. The location was just wonderful as well. We saw several bighorn sheep and enjoyed the creek weaving through the property. We would definitely stay again!

Great rustic hideaway

We had a great time here, very rustic but comfortable. Heated outhouse with cushioned seat! Really cool 3 season bar w rock music theme right out front door, including an awesome pic of Mission Mountain Wood Band in concert. Wood fired sauna was also nice. We hiked over three miles up into the very scenic valley, would have liked to have gone further but daylight was running out.

Rock Creek Cabins

Perfect spot to stay for some relaxing time off the grid. The rustic cabin is located in a beautiful setting, close to fishing and hiking. Mike is a great host, and we hope to be able to come back again soon.

Priced right but not the Hilton. Not the right place for everybody. You have to heat your water on the stove. And walk to the hot water shower house. Out door organic bathrooms. Clean and comfortable in a true Montana atmosphere
