This property was absolutely charming . From the beautiful setting to the closeness of Lake Placid and Mirror Lake and all they have to offer, this home is a treasure. Confortable and so warm and cozy.Our Host Kim is incredibley kind and left no detail undone. We hope to be back next holiday season

Everything was very nice. Clean and welcoming. The ability to do laundry was greatly appreciated after climbing peaks. The only issue was an inability to open the wifi.

We really enjoyed this house! It had plenty of room with a large great room that contained a living, dining and kitchen. There were enough window a/c's to cool things down on a couple of hot days and heat to ward off the chill towards the end of our rental (one month) The property is roomy and flat (except the driveway) with a large deck, ideal if you have a doggie! Even though the neighborhood is close to a main road, it was very quiet and quite pretty with houses not close together. One unexpected plus are a series of trails that go in different directions from the house. The owner/host was easy to contact and very accommodating.

Perfect location! This was our 3rd time staying here. The house is perfectly situated for access to the Ironman course. Plenty of rooms for friends and family to hang out. The house has everything you need. Kim is very easy to work with and helpful.

Second time was equally wonderful

This is our second time visiting Lake Placid and staying at this location. We find the home spacious with all the kitchen amenities that we need. The location is also great. It takes about 10 minutes to get into the heart of the shops and eating establishments.

Nice home in Lake Placid, close to everything, but owner lives on site too

Listing should have made it clear that the owner, and her dogs, live downstairs in the same house. Hearing her dogs bark made our own dog anxious. We all felt that we had to be extra quiet, which is not what we anticipated when renting a house which we thought would be private. The driveway is steep, which could be an issue in the winter if you don’t have all-wheel drive. However, the location is excellent, close to town and ski, and the kitchen well stocked, and beds comfortable. Another note—no washer/dryer.

This is our second stay in this cozy house nestled in the woods in beautiful Lake Placid. Kim is awesome. The house has everything you need and more.It is clean and comfortable. Kim's place is a hidden gem! Our pups love the house too!

Long weekend for winter carnival

It was a wonderful stay. We loved the setting if where the house was and the fireplace.. it was like we were in a winter wonderland nestled in the woods. Only about 5 minutes from outskirts of Lake Placid. We loved it!

Family Getaway

My family and I loved the Lake Placid house! It was so comfy and accommodating. It was stocked with everything we needed and more! It is clean and everything was well maintained. It is pet friendly and our pups absolutely loved the house too. It is located so close to town and we plan to make this an annual event!
