Spacieux Cortijo (ferme) avec piscine privĂ©e clĂŽturĂ©e (10m x 5m) situĂ© dans un endroit paisible Ă  la campagne avec sa propre vaste terrain. La propriĂ©tĂ© est Ă  15 minutes en voiture de la ville colline blanche spectaculaire de Arcos de la Frontera, avec ses nombreux restaurants typiques, des bars Ă  tapas et de la vieille ville historique. Le Cortijo dispose de trois grandes chambres, deux salles de bains, une salle de bains, grand salon Ă  aire ouverte et salle Ă  manger et une chambre de la tour Ă  l'Ă©tage avec une vue magnifique sur la campagne environnante. Les portes-fenĂȘtres ouvrent sur le patio, piscine et jardin. A l'avant de la maison, il ya une belle cour murĂ©e avec patio, table, chaises et barbecue en dur pour les repas en plein air. TrĂšs bien situĂ© pour explorer les plages de la Costa de la Luz, Jerez, Cadix, SĂ©ville, autre belle Pueblo Blancos, et les montagnes environnantes.

We stayed at this property while my son had races at Circuit de Jerez. It was a beautiful home, the pool was fabulous and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property owner checked in on us to make sure everything was running smoothly and as expected. It was close enough to the track for convenience but far enough out to get peace and quiet and pool time in the evenings. Will definitely come back again!!!

Great relaxed family holiday

A great family holiday in a lovely villa within an off gridl location, quiet and yet close enough to amenities as needed. The family loved the pool. I thought the care and support to quickly address and query or minor issue was amazing. Paul the local contact was brilliant. Very much recommend and would rebook in the future without hesitation. 5 star.

Fantastic

Fantastic property only 15 mins away from Arcos with lots of restaurants and supermarkets yet feels remote and peaceful. The pool is fantastic, good size and lots of toys for kids to play with. Felt like a home from home with lots of books, dvds, a bluetooth speaker and decent wifi. View from the tower room is stunning. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful house, rural location

We loved the house, the atmosphere of it and the rural location. Spacious, a beautiful tower and it offered everything we needed. A few small points: our adult children weren’t too happy about the matrasses on the single beds (the kingsize was very comfortable btw) and I think there the water is very ‘hard’ (chalky) because alt the plates, cups and glasses were a bit tainted. But nevertheless and again, we loved the place so highly recommended!

Great spot for family break

We stayed for three weeks and had glorious sunny warm weather. Surroundings were very dry and rocky as you’d expect after the hot summer. Loved all the cotton fields. We felt at home in the house immediately. Sunrise and sunset views from the tower were gorgeous. We loved day trips to Cádiz, Vejer and into Arcos (we’d come from Jerez which is nearby and also lovely). Wonderful falconry experience in Zahara de la Sierra called Skywings. Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect home in great relaxed location

Excellent stay in the most relaxed location with everything that we needed for feeling completely at home. No troubles with checking in as the instructions were excellent, Paul gave us all the information required for our stay. The house itself was just set up as if it was our own, no feeling of a holiday home. The pool was great, and three choices to sit or eat outside could be varied depending upon the sun and the breeze to ensure everything was just right. The tower was brilliant for the incredibly abundant birdlife. A great location for various days out, Jerez, Arcos, Seville (amazing), the wonderful beaches, Baelo Claudia and Sierra de Grazalema. Our only regret was we booked for just eight days instead of eight weeks!

Our week in ARCOS de la Frontera

The Villa is situated in a very rural location surrounded by fields with only a few other villas and buildings, the views from the villa are great. The only downside was that several of the buildings were farm properties that were uninhabited and guarded by large dogs that tended to bark a lot throughout the night, and as a relatively light sleeper it did affect my sleep, I appreciate that this is out of the owner’s control and would not put me off returning. The villa and its facilities were first class and exceeded our expectations. The villa is situated approximately 15 minutes drive from ARCOS which is a reasonably simple drive. The pool was clean but is looking a little tired with a few missing tiles. Many thanks to Paul for his advise and tips very much appreciate.

Excellent house in a quiet rural area with beautiful views. Very clean and well appointed villa with lovely pool and seating areas for sun and shade. We found plenty of places to visit of cultural or natural interest within 1.5 hours drive eg Jerez inc good zoo, Grazalema, Zahara, Olvera, Setenil, Medina Sidonia, Vejer, La Breña coastal nature reserve, kayaking & swimming at Arcos beach, Ronda, Sevilla (parked at the metro at Condequinto), Cadiz (train from Jerez). Very approachable local contact and owner. Wide range of bird life. We had hot weather, sometimes breezy but we could always keep the house comfortably cool with very quiet ceiling fans and air conditioning when required. We would highly recommend.

Really well equipped, didn't need anything, comfortable and well appointed. Amazing pool, fortunately we had plenty of hot weather (not a given during the time of our stay) so put to good use. Barbecue was well used too! Really relaxing location, secluded and very green valley. Pleasantly surprised by the birding from the tower, pool and garden. We notched up 70 species during our stay, 3 different types of Vulture, Black-winged Kites, Hoopoe, Golden Orioles and Red-necked Nightjars (the full list is available on ebird). The loose dogs on the short track are easily avoided by taking the slightly longer route through the valley and also makes for a lovely walk to the local venta. We had a completely relaxing stay, didn't even leave the cortijo on a number of days.

Rural peace within reach of Ronda, Cadiz and Jerez

The house is located about 1.5 km from the main road down a farm track. There are other properties dotted about the area, the closest about 70m, but no intrusive noise...silent at night. The views from the tower-like terrace are lovely especially during harvesting with the farm vehicles buzzing around. Pool lovely, house spacious with everything we needed. AC was effective in bedrooms on the hottest nights. Plenty of towels for house and pool, travel cot (take a fitted sheet) and high chair. We would book again as a family or a couple for a rest....this trip we were 4+ toddler. Consider packing a paddling pool for little ones. Property is toddler safe. Local property manager was kind and responsive. If you don’t want to trek to the sea side kids will enjoy the lakeside beach just north of Arcos. Good supermarkets in Arco’s for all you need, street market Friday. Pay attention to the warning in joining instructions about getting locked out...keep a physical note of key code...VRBO won’t be any use if your phone is inside :(

Rest and Relaxation, deep in the Spanish countryside

We enjoyed our stay at Cortijo Buena Vista immensely. The weather was absolutely fabulous which made the air conditioning in every room very welcome. The villa is very well appointed with everything you could possibly need supplemented by a thoughtful welcome pack and access to many staple products and cleaning products you normally need to purchase. The lounge, diner, kitchen is great, sofas are comfortable and there is satellite access to main UK channels if you can ever tear yourself away from the idyllic garden. We enjoyed the pool as swallows swooped over our heads and birds of prey circled in the distance. There are various tables, chairs, pool loungers throughout the property in various locations which means you can chase the sun or stay in the shade whatever your preference. The tower room offers great views and a cooler, breazy location to read a book or sample some of the fino sherry left for us in the fridge. The location is convenient. We flew in from Seville airport which is just over an hour away and is a fantastic city to visit. Don't miss the cathedral or the Alcazar (beat the queues by paying a little extra for a guided tour).Jerez is less than 30 minutes, where we enjoyed the school of equestrian art which on certain days includes dressage performances where the horses dance to music and colourful pageantry (tickets can be purchased online from the UK). Sandeman's bodega is next door. It takes less than an hour to get to Cadiz which is worth reaching via the ferry from El Puerto de Santa Maria. This is really cheap, solves any car parking problems and gives you a virtually free 30 minute cruise into the town. Cadiz is full of the history you would expect connected with a strategic Spanish port, but take care of your belongings as we had a bag stolen within seconds while we were having lunch. Arcos de la frontera is the closest town to the villa and is worth exploring. We drove up to the Plaza Del Cabildo, via very narrow roads to the view point looking over the valley. Its worth spending time contemplating the view from the terrace of the parador over a glass of wine or cold beer. Our days however, always ended meandering back to the peace and quiet of the villa for a G&T, to swim, to read and to BBQ (a very efficient charcoal BBQ is located in the little courtyard at the front of the property). Memorable days.

La villa de la tranquillité

Cela Ă©tait, pour notre famille, la seconde fois que nous venions passer nos vacances dans cette trĂšs belle villa. Nous y apprĂ©cions son environnement, avec son magnifique panorama.Elle est bien situĂ©e pour visiter l'Andalousie. Il est trĂšs agrĂ©able de se balader dans le village d'Arcos. Belle piscine, extĂ©rieurs et intĂ©rieurs bien Ă©quipĂ©s. FĂ©licitations Ă  notre intendant Paul, aux petits soins pour les locataires. Eigentlich toll

Das Cortijo liegt wunderbar ruhig, abgeschieden und dennoch nahe zur notwendigen Infrastruktur (10 min nach Arcos). Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden, bei der Anreise ist der KĂŒhlschrank mit Grundlegendem befĂŒllt. Das GebĂ€ude samt Pool und Loggia ist ansprechend und lĂ€dt mit seiner Architektur zum entspannten Urlauben ein.Die KĂŒche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man brauchen könnte. Den Reinigungszustand der KĂŒche und deren Ausstattung haben wir allerdings unbefriedigend empfunden.

Muy buena casa

La vivienda es excepcional, aunque cuesta llegar la primera vez, estå aislada, tranquila, muy bien equipada, en cuanto a surtido de menaje, utensilios... y todo lo necesario para una estancia perfecta; aunque hay algunos detalles a mejorar. - La iluminación exterior es casi nula, lo que imposibilita el uso durante la noche. - Los baños, aunque siendo correctos, necesitan una reforma. - Reparar algunas ventanas que no cierran correctamente. Pese a estos puntos de mejora la vivienda es fantåstica y merece la pena la estancia

Muy contentos!

Nos fue un poco difícil encontrar la casa,una vez abrimos estaba limpia ordenada y muy confortable.La estancia ha sido un claro ejemplo de lo q la familia queríamos,campo,paz, relax, barbacoa y agua.,la piscina es estupenda grande y muy limpia,quiero anotar también el buen trato de Paul cuando lo llamamos para saber dnd estaba el interruptor de las luces del interior de la piscina,se preocupó y nos lo dijo.Finalizando es una casa muy agradable en todos los aspectos,nos faltó unos días mås de quedarnos...sin duda el año q viene si Dios quiere repetiremos.Muchas gracias Jacinta

Beschreibung irrefĂŒhrend / Objekt schmuddelig

Kein Bauernhaus, sondern ein einfaches Ferienhaus mit schlichter / abgenutzter IKEA-Inneneinrichtung. Die Fotos suggerieren ein großzĂŒgiges Objekt, tatsĂ€chlich sind das Haus und GrundstĂŒck eher klein. Die KĂŒche war schmuddelig, Töpfe/Teller/Besteck schĂ€big sowie verdreckt und das Mobiliar fiel schon auseinander. Von 5 KlimagerĂ€ten waren 3 defekt, warmes Wasser gab es erst an Tag 4 nach Reparatur. Nach dem ĂŒberwiegend ergebnislosen Versuch der Reparatur der Klimaanlagen haben wir den defekten Pool-Mechanismus selbst repariert - der Verwalter war verstĂ€ndnislos und belehrend und wir wollten ihn nicht schon wieder treffen. Die SchrĂ€nke sind tlw. mit Kleidern der EigentĂŒmer belegt und mĂŒffeln. Die Toiletten kippeln / sind nicht richtig befestigt / die BĂ€der riechen entsprechend. Unter dem Tisch und den StĂŒhlen waren Spinnweben der letzten Monate. Die Aussenbereiche sind mit klapprigen Plastikliegen bestĂŒckt und waren zudem verdreckt (wir haben die Pfirsichkerne der VorgĂ€nger entdeckt). Insgesamt sehr enttĂ€uschend vor dem Hintergrund eines verfĂ€lschend Inserates. Die EigentĂŒmer haben zudem den Kontakt eingestellt nach einer sachlichen (aber wohl nicht ausreichend englisch-polite(n)) Beschwerde unsererseits.
