Family friendly Villa Priene offers a gated entrance, parking, gardens, private pool, huge stone BBQ and bar with fridge. The sun deck has fab views across the bays and gives everyone the space they need to enjoy the sun or the shade, which seemed always to be accompanied by a welcome breeze. The sun rooms sliding windows convert into a sheltered chill out area.
As the owner, I stay in a nearby villa and am available to help with your queries or recommend places to go, ensuring that every need is catered for, so you can Sit back, relax and unwind and have a easy and drama free holiday! I have 2 great english speaking private drivers, whom you can hire, if you don't wish to drive or you can use a local taxi.

Wifi is up to 12Mbps, the are 3 firesticks on the TVs (so plenty UK TV, movies) and 2 Alexa music boxes.

On the ground floor it has an open plan kitchen, water cooler, air fryer, a dining and living area (double height ceiling) with 3 sets of patio doors leading onto tiled covered terrace, with table and 6 chairs, overlooking pool and sea views. The utility/storage room houses the washing machine. Beds 2 and 3 are on the ground floor as is the family bathroom. The marble staircase from the living room leads to the master suite and galleria area with access to extensive sun deck and mezzanine sun area. The master bedroom has en-suite and great views.

Fantastic walking, rowing boat hire, diving, windsurf hire, go-karting, camel and horse riding, thermal spas, snorkelling over ancient pottery, boat trips to wonderful bays and islands - all nearby. There is a fantastic English speaking dentist nearby. Great service and excellent rates. No long waits, get all your work done while on holiday!

Fabulous!

We have just returned home from a two week holiday staying at Villa Priene. Where do I start! The villa is just lovely, there is an amazing amount of outside space between the pool area and the additional two upstairs terraces which both offer amazing views! The inside of the villa is very good, it has everything you need and it is a real home from home. We could not have had a warmer welcome from Tracey the owner, she bent over backwards to make sure we had a good stay. Thank you Trace, see you next year!

Beautiful villa with amazing views

We have just come back from spending 10 days @ this stunning villa - the photos dont do the property justice everything is catered for from pool towels to games. Tracey was great and helped us with whatever we needed she is only a few minutes away if needed. The pool was great as were the terraces such a great spot to have. Although we loved this holiday and the property. It is up a very steep hill that my mum & dad struggled with at times I would advise a car to get to around as you are a way out from restaurants etc.. We used the Dolmus to get around and this worked fine we went into Bodrum which was lovely but we were looking for a bit more evening entertainment but still had an amazing time and.would highly recommend this villa to anybody. The cats & baby kittens were definitely a bonus we wanted to take them home!! Thank you Tracy for an amazing holiday xx

Très belle maison et très bon séjour

Maison très bien décorée et très bien équipée, dès les premières minutes nous nous sentons comme chez nous. Dans un quartier calme, mais tout proche d'un supermarché. Tracey était toujours disponible et de très bon conseils.

Best hostess ever!

We can't praise Trace enough for all her help, guidance and general kindness that she showed us during our stay at the lovely Villa Priene. It was so refreshing to arrive at a rental property having already built up a relationship over email to the point that we felt we knew Trace before we had even arrived! Trace was there to greet us when we arrived and was on hand throughout out stay but without invading our privacy whatsoever. The villa itself was spotless and because it is Tracey's home, had everything we needed. We particularly liked the fact that we could choose between three terraces for sunbathing and we made good use of the BBQ round the pool. Gumusluk itself is a very beautiful village with its many restaurants and bars on the beach but beware being overcharged for food. We had an extremely good value fish meal next door to Mars Café at Trace's recommendation and also an excellent last night meal at Limon Restaurant which was unlike any other restaurant we have ever been to. The supermarket just down the hill from the villa stocked everything we needed and there really is no need to go shopping anywhere else. Trace very kindly allowed us to tag along on a boat trip from Bodrum which was good fun and we also visited Yalikavak a couple of times which was really worth going to. Trace was amazing in her endless enthusiasm for the nearby towns and was so helpful in advising us where to go. We feel we have made a friend for life in Trace and indeed are still in contact, so thank you so much Trace for making a lovely holiday even more perfect!

An absolute gem of a place

A very clean, well furnished and comfortable villa that had everything I needed and comes with beautiful views over the Aegean sea. Villa Priene is tastefully decorated and maintained by Tracey who is extremely welcoming and willing to help where she can to ensure a very pleasant and enjoyable holiday. The roof terrace and pool area provides a spacious and amazing space for alfresco living and the new bar and BBQ just perfect for enjoying the warm Mediterranean evenings. The villa is situated in a quiet and private area of Gümüslük with a supermarket, local restaurant and beach all within walking distance and Bodrum easily accessible by public transport. There is also parking available for a car which is the ideal way to explore the surrounding area. Definitely worth the 5 star rating, definitely worthy of recommendation and definitely a place I would stay again. 100% satisfied.

Heaven on earth

This villa is out of this world. It's in a quiet place- just 5 villas on the site- yet it is just a 5 min walk from the road from where you can get a dolmus to the quaint fishing village, called Gumusluk, just 10 mins away. You are also just a bus ride away from Turgetreis- for banks/ market etc, and Bodrum- where they have a big ancient castle. Also in Bodrum they have a great amphitheatre, built into the rocks, where they have concerts/ dance performances. Then again if you fancy the big footy matches then Yalikavak or Turgetreis are just a bus ride away. The villa comfortably holds 6, in 2 double bedrooms & 1 twin. I of these has a lovely en-suite bathroom with a bath & twin sinks ! The views are great- mountains, the sea... There is a lovely clean big private pool and there is loads of space to sunbathe... either on the ample covered decking upstairs, or by the pool. Personally 1 of the highlights for me was lying on the decking listening to Bob Marley, drinking a Malibu & lemonade.....bliss... The villa is fully equipped. The owner, Trace, is very attentive & really cares about her home. She is easily contactable if needed. I can't wait to lounge around there again this summer. Heavenly!

Great villa in a wonderfull location

Villa Prienne is a fantastic villa fully equipped and looked after by the owner Trace, to whom nothing is too much trouble. Perfectly located to explore the surrounding area either by car or the local Dolmus! We are a family of four with two teenage boys and we all had a great time staying here, we will most certainly be back.

The villa was fantastic.It was very clean and had everything you needed and more.Tracey was fantastic nothing was a bother to her she was a delight.I would recommend Tracey,s villa to family and freinds. Great property in an amazing location, everything you could ask for and more!

I stayed here with my family, 6 of us in total, for our first family holiday in a long time. Both the Villa and Tracey were amazing, the villa is equipped with everything you need to have an amazing holiday and Tracey is happy to help out at any time (she even come and got us when we got lost coming from the airport to the villa). Pool is a decent size and we loved spending our evenings on the roof terraces. We rented a 7 seater car for our stay and I would definitely recommend getting one, as many of the places we attended all required driving too, that being said i believe that the taxis run quite local. The locals are very friendly and we ate some amazing food at restaurants in Gumusluk and the neighbouring towns of Yalikavak and Turgutreis. We hope to return one day!

Feels Like Home :o))

After having previously stayed at Villa Priene, back in 2014 - We where extremely anxious to get back, This time extending our Holiday, from last time, to 2 weeks. Our holiday here this time surpassed what we had previously experienced, all our previous memories came flooding back. Meeting Tracy was like seeing an old friend again. A gem of a host - Nothing is too much hassle, went out of her way to ensure our stay was as good as it could be. The Villa has had improvements made since our last time. Nicely decorated, a brilliant garden terrace, which is nicely enhanced by the many twinkle lights that are on display - This makes for a perfect place to sit in an evening, with a drink, gazing at the stars. Free WiFi was also a perk we could enjoy this time around too. Which meant we could keep in contact with relatives back home and share the joys we where all experiencing. A Kodi box had been recently purchased by Tracy, this meant access to Music, Tv Shows and Movies, where just at our fingertips, to enjoy on the big TV screen, in the living area. The Villa was fully equipped with all your household needs. There was no going short on anything. We would recommend this Villa to anybody - And I'm confident, anyone who goes will have as good a time as we did. We hope to have ourselves a 3rd Holiday at Villa Priene in the near future!

Tracey and Villa Prienne are AMAZEBALLS!

We (6 adults and 1 baby) stayed at Villa Prienne for a week, which was faaar too short. Tracey has thought about everything and we didn't need or want for anything. The villa is comfortable, well stocked with everything and very clean and comfortable. Tracey is the most helpful person I have ever come across and made us feel like old friends from day one. I am already missing Turkey, the pool, the sunshine and most of all seeing your happy face every day Trace! We will definitely be back! Richard, Juanita, Tami, Darryl, Candi, Martin and Scarlett. Lovely Well Equipped House

We really enjoyed our stay from the moment we arrived. The villa really does have EVERYTHING you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay...and more. Trace was lovely and so helpful with information, advice and invites to do things which was very kind of her. You can walk to the shop and the Terrace restaurant easily where you will also find the dolmus stop. We will definitely be back.

Amazing Host, Stunning Villa, Picturesque Location

Villa Priene cannot be described, it needs to be experienced. We arrived late on the day and called Tracey as assumed we were lost, Tracey gave us accurate directions and waited to greet us. She is an amazing individual with a great personality. It was a pleasure meeting her and we are pretty sure we will meet again. Villa Priene greeted us with shock and awe as it was better than expected, the pictures don't do it justice. Tracey takes pride in the Villa and great care has gone into it making it perfect. We are a family of 5 with kids aged 16, 14 & 8. Every morning the children looked forward to the pool which Tracey cleaned and maintained daily. The views were truly breathtaking. Gumusluk is a nice quiet village location but car hire is a must. Everything is within easy reach and there is a supermarket at the bottom of the road. Villa Priene is well equipped and has everything you need including TV's, DVD's, washing machine and much more. When we had arrived Tracey had put breakfast snacks in the fridge for us. The 2 cats Ginge and Tiggy Wiggy we so friendly the kids are missing them already. I am writing this review from Istanbul as that's the 2nd half of our vacation, what can I say we're all a little depressed as nothing can come close to our stay in Villa Priene, it just set the bar so high. We Thank you Tracey for a wonderful stay and hope to see you soon. I've given this review 5 stars which aren't enough so adding a further 5 at the end too. * * * * *

Luxury villa with absolutely everything you need

It's not often that a holiday house is better than the description and pictures but Villa Priene is just that. The facilities are just brilliant and it is immaculately kept and so clean. Tracey was really helpful and got some shopping in for our arrival. Nothing was any trouble. We would definitely go back and I would thoroughly recommend this villa. Loads of lovely places to eat, Migros supermarket is just down the road too. The pool is fabulous and the outside space is huge with loads of cushions and loungers. We were a family of 4 but the villa sleeps 6 and even then it wouldn't be crowded. Fabulous views, really quiet and only about 45 mins - 1 hour from Bodrum airport.

A little taste of Heaven!

Five stars doesn't seem enough to sum up how wonderful our stay was at Villa Priene. From the minute we set foot in Turkey, the amazing host Tracey ensured everything was 100% for us, arranging transfers from the airport and then to greet us with her beaming smile and cheerful persona. She made us feel totally welcome and ensured our whole stay was one to remember. I travelled as a single parent with a teen and an 8 year old and any fears I had melted away the second I stepped into the Villa. Both the kids loved - and to keep two age groups happy is quite an achievement! As for the villa, it was beautifully decorated, inside and out, everything you could think of for you to use - in fact I think you would struggle to name something the villa doesn't have. Amazing views from the roof terrace and within easy walking distance to a fab local restaurant, bakery and supermarket. You can also walk to the nearest beach - quite a steep walk back, but there is always a local dolmus bus that passes by regularly. I would 100% recommend Villa Priene to anybody and can't wait to return.

Fantastic villa great host

An amazing restful villa set on the side of a cliff with stunning views of the sea and countryside. The villa is really a home from home every thing you could possibly want is there. A fantastic owner who visits to to maintain the pool every day and is a real gem. Cant wait to go again. Short walk to the Dolmus and Migros shop but it is a fairly steep hill so no very very young children unless the parents hire a car or feel they can push the buggy up a hill for 8 minutes. We had a fantastic holiday thanks Trace

truly lovely

The villa was exactly as it was described and really lovely.the view is beautiful and the location was quiet. Tracey was so helpful and friendly and the villa was very clean with everything you need for a lovely holiday. We would love to go back and would highly recommend it.

The Best Equipped Villa We Have Ever Rented

We had a lovely stay in Villa Priene. It is extremely comfortable and everything worked including the air conditioning which was essential during the week we stayed.Tracey is very helpful and will do any shopping for you prior to arrival. We would certainly return and have we no hesitation in recommending this villa.

Brilliant Villa

Villa is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean with everything you could ask for and more.Three different sitting areas outside and a lovely rooftop veranda all with lovely furniture and cushions. Best part of the day was sitting out at night with the fairy lights and candles lit having a few drinks. We didnt have a car , but the regular dolmus bus, took us to all the places we wanted to visit and taxis back with our bargains were very reasonable too. Tracy was very helpful and took us to the local supermarket for shopping etc .My friends and I would certainly recommend Villa Priene , we had a lovely relaxing time and hope to return

Great villa, lovely pool

Very comfortable and very well equipped property. Lots of different outdoor spaces - poolside, dining area, and upstairs terraces. Tracey is a lovely host, very welcoming and with lots of local tips, and nothing was too much trouble. The pool is maintained daily and is a good size, with lighting at night time.

I spend my winters between living in the villa and travelling. I am also very involved with helping the refugees and am a member of the Bodrum Humanity Charity, where we collect clothes and blankets to distribute and hand out food and sanitary packs.
I also spend time at the local Cat and Dog Shelter, and enjoy taking the dogs out for walks.
