The beach view was gorgeous. We saw whales from the living room. Walking on the beach right from the house was wonderful. The pool was very enjoyable once the heating kicked in. The host was great, making sure we had a pack and play and high chair for the baby. We loved the layout of the house and all the available beach chairs and toys.

This is a wonderful property

This location is perfect if you are looking for the beach, views and privacy.You have everything you need in the home- great furniture, amazing decks and plenty of room. Property manager assisted with information that allowed us to have baby items delivered to the house, among other things. Very good communication.You will not be disappointed staying here.

Ha’ena Dream

The house is the first in the area I’ve been to with both sunrise and sunsets visible from the point. Very nicely furnished home, great ocean views. You won’t be disappointed!!

Awesome place, awesome location.

The house is great, air-conditioning, the grill, the oven - all worked well, location can’t be beat. A pool is a nice addition - refreshing swim after dinner, watching the stars was cool :-)

Beautiful Property

We had a lovely time in Haena at this rental property. It was our first time in Kauai and the beauty of the island did not disappoint. The house was everything we needed it to be and it was unique that there was a pool. It is a little bit of a drive to many tourist attractions so be sure you have a rental car and if you have kids coordinate child care early because not everyone is willing to go into Haena. We had a lovely time and hope to visit again very soon!

Great location and awesome house

House was beautiful and very comfortable. Having air conditioning was very nice in Kauai. The location was exceptional and right on the water. It was only 15 minute walk to Tunnels Beach. Excellent stay. I would highly recommend the house to anybody.

Little slice of Paradise!

A Piece of Heaven on Earth

This was our second stay at Holo Makani—beautiful setting, fabulous house with everything you could ever need, and excellent property management. We have traveled many places and stayed in many rentals but we are all in agreement that this is our favorite!

Tranquil and peaceful

Proximity to beach, natural light, and tranquility above expected. They charged for heating the pool, which was unexpected--its possible that I missed it in the contract. Overall Great experience. Will return someday soon!

Wonderful stay

Holo Makani is even better than it looks! It was the perfect house and the perfect location for exploring the north shore. We especially loved listening to the water all night and the beautiful views from the house. The house has everything you need for preparing meals, spending time at the beach or just relaxing on the lanai. We will definitely be returning!

Perfect in every way

The experience with this place was seamless and stress-free, from beginning to end. Booking was easy, property manager was thoughtful and responsive, and most importantly of all the house was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our group of two families. We loved the pool, the lanai, and with all of our beach and pool time made great use of the two up-to-date washers and dryers! Everything was thoughtfully appointed and beautiful. Highly recommended!

Kauai on the Sand

Amazing place. My wife and I celebrated 20 years of marriage by staying here for 9 days. Amazing home, location is perfect with great long beach walks from backyard. Remote location, but yet 10 minutes or so to grocery/ restaurants / shops. Home has just about everything you could ask for. Felt guilty that we did not share the place by inviting friends or family... Blessed to have been able to stay here... We will be back!

Home away from home!

My adult daughter and I came here to rest and heal and we couldn't be happier! We slept, cooked delicious meals in the glorious kitchen and went for leisurely strolls on the beach. We were totally supported by Joanne and her staff... oh my...I am already thinking about when and how I can return... Can't imagine staying any where else on the island. The views are spectacular and the entire experience profoundly peaceful and healing.
