4 couchages. SituĂ© dans une falaise Ă  la lisiĂšre du village de Mullion sur la pĂ©ninsule de LĂ©zard. Une vue imprenable sur la mer et la cĂŽte. MĂštres du sentier cĂŽtier et idĂ©al pour les chiens. Moins de 10 minutes de marche cĂŽtiĂšre jusqu'Ă  la magnifique crique de sable isolĂ©e Polurrian. Le chalet est Ă  quelques mĂštres de l'hĂŽtel Polurrian Bay, oĂč les clients peuvent profiter gratuitement de la piscine intĂ©rieure, de la salle de sport, du court de tennis et de la piscine extĂ©rieure ainsi que de l'excellent restaurant de l'hĂŽtel. Ils peuvent Ă©galement se dĂ©tendre dans le spa oĂč une large gamme de soins est disponible. Le chalet a une cuisine ouverte, salle Ă  manger / salon, une salle de bain, un patio privĂ© avec des siĂšges et un parking hors route. Le village des meneaux est Ă  quelques pas. Il y a des magasins, des pubs et des restaurants Ă  15 minutes Ă  pied. Le chemin cĂŽtier passe en face de la propriĂ©tĂ© - tournez Ă  gauche et c'est Ă  15 minutes Ă  pied de Mullion Cove et de son port spectaculaire avec des possibilitĂ©s de coasteering. Tournez Ă  droite et encore 15 Ă  20 minutes Ă  pied vous amĂšne Ă  Poldhu Beach (pour le surf et le Poldhu Beach Cafe ouvert toute l'annĂ©e. La riviĂšre Helford (pour la voile et le ruisseau Frenchman's de Daphne du Maurier), la spectaculaire Kynance Cove, la charmante Cadgwith Cove et le Lizard (le point le plus au sud de la Grande-Bretagne) sont tous Ă  une courte distance en voiture.

Idyllic

The property was exactly as listed. Very nice with all mod cons and a lovely sun trap terrace. It is perfectly located on the coastal path, near to a super beach and use of the hotel facilities is a great bonus. We’d love to come back. Many thanks for a fabulous week.

Great location for coastal path walks!

Just got back from a fab holiday in Mullion. The property has everything you need and was so clean when we arrived! The main thing we loved about the property was the location, it is right on the coastal path, perfect for our dog. The views from the cottage are amazing, especially at sunset! We loved staying in Mullion as it’s quiet but has shops for essentials and places to eat. We went to the old inn pub a few times, great little place and very busy every time we went. Booking needed for the restaurant but if you can get a table in the bar or outside if the weathers nice, you can order food. Would definitely stay here again!

Fabtastic location for coastal path walks. 20 minute walk into the village- The Galleon fish and chips are brilliant and we had a lovely dinner at The Old Inn. Also, you can go over the driveway to Polurrian Hotel for drink and use the spa. We found some aspects of the property a bit tired but every thing you beed for your stay. Could do with more hanging space for clothes is staying longer than a few days. The access to the secure garden was tiresom with our puppy - the patio door in the back bedroom is the only access to the decking area. Also, the decking is rotting in places so an outside light would be good so you could see your footing in the dark. We did find the bed very comfortable

Wonderful Holiday

We have just returned from an amazing holiday. The accommodation was of adequate size for our family of 4, along with the dog. We stayed for two weeks so had plentiful opportunities to visit various places including the use of the hotel facilities, which were superb! It is right on the South West coastal path, which was ideal for beautiful coastal walks (each day) with our dog. During our stay, we visited: Polurrian Cove, Poldhu Cove, Mullion Harbour and Cove (dog friendly), St Ives, Penzance, Falmouth, Helford Passage, Mousehole, Newlyn, Kennack Sands Beach (dog friendly), The Lizard, Porthleven, Helston, Gunwalloe Beach, Coverack (dog friendly beach), Porthoustock Beach (dog friendly), St Keverne, Upton Towans Beach (dog friendly) and Gunwalloe Church Cove Beach. It was an amazing location to visit so many places. There are a lot of dog restrictions on beaches (in the area), but we managed to track down a few that were ok, which was great. Mullion village is lovely too! We had a meal in the Old Inn Mullion, which was delicious. We did book, so would advise. We also tried a curry from the Cornish Curry Company (in the village), which we enjoyed. There is a CO-OP and Spar, which is all within walking distance of the accommodation. One night we even had a fantastic meal at the Polurrian Hotel! I would certainly recommend staying at this place. Lucy was so helpful in providing detailed information about the trip and accommodation. A fantastic trip!

Bien que la maison n'Ă©tait pas trĂšs spacieuse, elle contenait tout ce qui Ă©tait nĂ©cessaire: grande chambre pour les enfants, beau sĂ©jour, grande carte topographique au mur pour organiser ses balades et excursions et belle terrasse protĂ©gĂ©e du vent derriĂšre la maison. Seule remarque: il faut stationner sa voiture juste devant la grande fenĂȘtre panoramique, ce qui gĂąche la belle vue sur la mer.

Die Lage ist top, aber leider gibt es keinen Ausblick (nur auf das parkende Auto im Wohn-/Essbereich). Die Terrasse ist mit einem Bretterzaun verdichtet, so dass auch kein Meer zu sehen ist. Im Bad sind Schimmelflecken. Es gibt keine DuschhandtĂŒcher (was angeblich auf der Homepage steht, ich aber nicht gefunden habe).Direkt neben der Terrasse war die ganzen zwei Wochen eine Baustelle mit lĂ€rmenden Maschinen.

Wir hatten 12 wundervolle Tage in der Unterkunft, sie hatte die perfekte GrĂ¶ĂŸe fĂŒr eine 4 köpfige Familie. Außergewöhnliche Lage, direkt am Meer und Coast Path. Die netten Nachbarn waren ein zusĂ€tzlicher Bonus und haben viele Geheimtipps mit uns geteilt. Die KĂŒche ist ein wenig Ă€lter, aber es halt an nichts gefehlt und wir haben viel in der KĂŒche zubereitet. Das Hotel und den Pool haben wir nicht genutzt, da es nur 30 Minuten möglich war. Das hat sich nicht gelohnt. Da geht man lieber nochmal kurz zum Strand. Wenn man, wie wir mit Hund verreist, sollte man allerdings wissen, dass Hunde um Juli und August nur morgens und abends am Strand erlaubt sind. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, so gut habe ich selten im Urlaub geschlafen. Die Terrasse ist traumhaft, um dort zu frĂŒhstĂŒcken, Neoprenanzug zu trocknen, oder zum sonnen. Das Einzige was wir uns noch wĂŒnschen könnten, wĂ€re eine Waschmaschine. Uns hat ein Kleiderschrank gar nicht gefehlt, wir haben alles gut untergebracht und fanden es so gerĂ€umig und nicht zugestellt. Schön, dass wir da sein dĂŒrften.

Unglaublich tolle Lage, sĂŒĂŸes Cottage

Wunderschön an der KĂŒste gelegen

Das Haus ist klein und gemĂŒtlich, herrlich still und am KĂŒstenwanderweg gelegen. Wir haben Pool und Gym des anliegenden Hotels sehr gern genutzt. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche. Zwei kleine VerbesserungsvorschlĂ€ge: HandtĂŒcher fĂŒrs Bad wĂ€ren schön und das Sofa war fĂŒr unseren Geschmack arg weich. Die Betten waren prima.

great holiday

This property is lovely - small but comfortable and very adequate for our needs. In a great location very close to the beach and the village and also the hotel. The only downside was that there were no bath towels provided. I don't have a problem with this but I didn't see it on the website so arrived unprepared. When I queried this with the owner she told me where I could buy some - which I didn't think was terrifically helpful - but the housekeeper very kindly dropped some round for us. It didn't spoil our holiday of course, but other potential guests bear this in mind.

Mullion Stay

Communication with Lucy is excellent, she is always quick to reply & so helpful! The cottage is small but cute and the location for Polurrian Cove is fantastic - this is a gorgeous quiet beach that my son absolutely loved. Mullion has a couple of pubs, and a decent local shop for supplies - there are bigger supermarkets in Helston if needed. Walks from the property are stunning & our favourite thing was to watch the sunset from the huge picture window- which was always stunning.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in dem kleinen, feinen superschön eingerichtetem Haus, welches sich in perfekter Lage am Meer befindet, sehr genossen. Die Gegend ist bezaubernd. Das Klima ist hervorragend, auch wenn es bewölkt war oder nieselte, war es trotzdem angenehm mild (Juli/August) Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern verlief reibungslos. Sehr gern empfehlen wir das HÀuschen weiter.

Perfekter Ort fĂŒr einen wunderbaren Urlaub

Wir sind sehr froh, fĂŒr unseren Urlaub in Cornwall Lucy Townsends Haus gewĂ€hlt zu haben! Es ist genauso wie beschrieben: ausreichend groß fĂŒr 4 Personen, bestens ausgestattet, bei schlechtem Wetter gemĂŒtlich, bei gutem hell und luftig. Die Lage ist wunderbar, der nĂ€chste Strand nicht zu ĂŒberlaufen und sehr sauber. Die NĂ€he zum Hotel war sehr angenehm, die Kinder haben den Pool etc. gerne genutzt. Jederzeit wieder!!!

Wonderful coastal retreat

We were lucky with the weather! Lovely walks ten minutes walk to the left to mullion cove and ten minutes walk the other way to polurrian beach. The property, we expected to be small, and it was but we had everything we needed. The host was very good at responding to our questions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Columbine.

Perfectly perched above Mullion Cove with the coastal path literally on the doorstep. Having the hotel facilities was the icing on the cake.

Super location

I visited with my adult daughter in September and we had a lovely visit. Lots of walking, swimming in the sea (be wary of the tides!) and exploring more of the Lizard, we had lots of sunshine and beautifully warm weather to help us enjoy all of that. Cottage is clean and very well equipped. The beds are extremely comfortable with nice fresh bed linens. The cottage is comfortable but is very small and I think we would have struggled if there were more people staying. The cottage is one of several in a row and the neighbors were all very friendly and felt like being in a nice little community! I had to contact Lucy about the hot water as I didn’t see the switch high on the wall in bedroom and she was incredibly quick to respond and very friendly and helpful. A lovely place to stay but I’d suggest going with people you know well and make the most of glorious Cornwall.

Fantastic Holiday

We all loved our week at this cottage, it had everything we needed, able to park right outside and the location was wonderful. The beach is a few mins walk down a path opposite. We used the pool in the hotel every day and sat in the bar and watched the amazingly sunsets in the evenings. We would love to come back again.

I work and live in London with my husband, an architect, and our two sons aged 26 and 23.

I spent my childhood holidays in Cornwall and have been bringing my two boys to Mullion and Polurrian Bay every year since they were very small. It was a chance encounter with the previous owner that enabled us to go ahead and purchase our own small part of this beautiful county.

We try and escape to Columbine as much as we can, and since COVID have comer here to work remotely a few weeks a year. it is great to escape the hustle of London to be by the sea and enjoy walks from the cottage along the south west coast path. If you don't fancy that then there's always the coziness of the cottage with a good book.

There is something for everyone on the Lizard whether it's the abundance of beautiful beaches dotted along the peninsula (Kynance Cove the gem), delicious food, surfing, walking the coast path, kayacking around Mullion harbour and beyond, sailing on the Helford river, wildlife, arts and craft or just pure relaxation.

The cottage lies adjacent to the coast path less than 10 minutes walk to Polurrian Cove. Rarely crowded this sandy beach offers surfing on your doorstep. We love to go down early evening in high summer with a beach barbeque and catch the last of the sun as the tide rolls in. Or blow the cobwebs away and walk to Poldu Beach, about a 15 minute walk, for an egg and bacon breakfast bap and "special" hot chocolate with cream and marshmallow. There is also the surf school.

Despite being the most southerly point of England, Cornish weather is always changeable. The cottage includes free use of the leisure facilities of the Polurrian Bay Hotel just metres away, including the tennis court (with views of Mounts Bay), indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzi and gym. There is also a spa offering a range of treatments to treat and relax you on holiday. You can also take advantage of the informal yet good quality dining.

Mullion village is a short walk away and has a range of shops and fooderies to suit most of your needs including a well-stocked Costcutter and Spa (selling local produce) to bakery with home made bread and Cornish pasties, delicatessen, chemist, post office and the Atlantic Forge for your wetsuits and the latest beach necessity.
