Dear Joan, Thank you for your review. The water is supplied by the local council and just like everywhere else in Portugal can be cut without warning. The water was not cut daily but occurred twice during your 14 day stay. Once was to repair a major burst pipe that affected not only the resort but over 5000 houses in the vicinity and the villages of Almadena, Budens and Salema. There were restaurants without water too unfortunately. The water was back on in the evening. The second occasion was for a few hours again due to a burst pipe outside the resort but the local council having to cut the water to repair a pipe. While this is inconvenient and regrettable it is totally beyond our control. We do advise in our folder that water can be cut without warning as this can happen in Portugal during the main summer months. It is not unique to Parque da Floresta. It is rather sad and very disappointing that you have given our villa a 3 star rating due to an external problem. Such that had nothing to do with the villa services provided and was was not unique to our villa.
