The Crow's Nest - Un chalet de village confortable avec une vue imprenable sur la mer

Le coin oubliĂ© de Cornwall. Les villages cĂŽtiers jumeaux de Kingsand et Cawsand, sur la pĂ©ninsule de Rame, sont parfaits pour se dĂ©tendre et passer des vacances mĂ©morables. Le chalet a une vue magnifique sur la mer vers les collines de Dartmoor - probablement la meilleure vue du village. La rĂ©gion a beaucoup Ă  offrir et une semaine pourrait facilement ĂȘtre perdue Ă  explorer les charmantes rues, Ă  marcher le long du littoral, Ă  se dĂ©tendre sur la plage. Les marcheurs ont l'embarras du choix et peuvent emprunter le sentier de la cĂŽte sud-ouest dans les deux sens. Le parc de campagne du mont Edgcumbe commence au sommet du village et vous pouvez marcher jusqu'Ă  la cĂ©lĂšbre maison du XVIe siĂšcle et visiter ses magnifiques jardins. Localement, il y a cinq pubs, trois cafĂ©s et un choix d'endroits pour manger le soir. Il est idĂ©al pour une pause romantique relaxante.

A cosy getaway in a beautiful location. Crow’s Nest had all that we needed for a short break away. Great to explore some of the surrounding area with some excellent walk info sheets to help us plan our outings. Coffee from The Old Bakery was a highlight, as was the outdoor bath!

It is small but extremely well laid out. Just right for a short break and the car parking local was cheap and good.

Relaxation in Cawsand Bay

Lovely little lodge in the heart of cawsand bay, the locals were all wonderful and we really enjoyed exploring the area and all along the coast. I would highly recommend if you want a few days away from the hustle and bustle of city life!

Relaxing Retreat

A perfect place to relax with stunning panoramic views over the sea. The terrace is a great place to sit and unwind, with the outdoor bath and added treat. The cabin is tastefully decorated right down to the fabulous Cornishware pottery. Can't recommend highly enough.

Wonderful View!

Thank you for a lovely stay. The Crow's Nest has the most incredible view and is very comfortable. It was a bonus being so close to the coastal path and a short stroll away from the shops/ pubs. The accommodation had everything we needed and the description and communication from Nick was great.

Perfect romantic hideaway

We were at the Crownest during Storm Dennis - it was a cosy spot to watch the waves below and Cawsand has everything we needed. Well equipped cottage. We definitely want to return.

Very Cozy. Perfect for a couples holiday. Very helpful host. Access to property can be a challenge due to steepness of stairs outside but there are alternative routes in. Would stay again.

Wonderfull place with a spectacular view

Wonderfully place with a spectacular view on the bay. Very clean, all needed furniture and very large terrace, enough covered to take an aperitif under the rain. Perfect for a couple No specific parking for the apartment but as a city's inhabitants, we are never afraid of finding a parking place in the evening 😉

The chalet is delightful and beautifully situated. All it lacks is a wardrobe, though its hard to see where one could be fitter in the bedroom. If a couple want a real break from the hassle this is absolutely ideal and we will rebook.

My wife and I spent a week in the rental on a family holiday in Cornwall. The cottage was absolutely perfect for us and would recommend to any couple. It is cosy and nicely designed. Highlights are of course the views and terrace area outside. It is quite small with limited storage space for clothes etc but we easily stored them under the bed. And make sure you are ok to climb the 66 steps up to the cottage a few times a day :)

Great secret hideaway

Very private chalet in a pretty spot high above the middle of the two villages. Just a short walk (though including quite a lot of well-maintained steps) to the deli and several eateries. It fully lived up to our expectations as the photos in the property description - both of the chalet and the views from it - give a true impression.

The crows nest really is a little nest, warm welcoming and has everything you need including fantastic views lots of wonderful walks and places to eat and drink. But if you just want to hide away you have all the privacy you need. Can’t wait to return

View from the Nest

Been visiting the Crow's Nest for several years now and never get tired of the brilliant view across Plymouth Sound. Kingsand and Cawsand always welcoming with friendly residents and decent pubs. Great network of ferries for easy access to Plymouth and trips down the Tamar. I'll be back next year, as long as I can still climb those steps!

Fantastic little place, fantastic views

What a fantastic little place, the views were amazing. A very secluded little place with decked area outside and patio below with sun loungers. The sun rise from the decked area was amazing (on the one morning we had clear skies). The accommodation was perfect, everything you could possibly need and very clean. Sea views from the bedroom and living room. Even the steps down to the fantastic village weren’t so bad. We would definitely recommend

Review

The Crows Nest was a sweet, comfy, pretty, well appointed but oh so small property. Gorgeous views outweighed the fact that there were only a few hooks on the wall with clothes hangers to store your clothes. Kingsand and Cawsand were a delight. Good pubs & village shops, Cornish atmosphere, friendly locals & beautiful location. We had a lovely stay but it felt expensive. But that view was probably worth it.

14 Tage Cornwall im Crow`s Nest

Die Unterkunft war einfach super, wir haben es sehr genossen. Der Blick vom Balkon aufs Meer war immer wieder schön. Die Unterkunft ist zwar klein, aber es ist alles vorhanden und man fĂŒhlt sich wohl. Gerne immer wieder.

Lovely property with fantastic views , the steps to/from property are challenging so be prepared! Ideal spot to watch boats/ships etc. Nice places to eat /people watch.
