Construit dans un style traditionnel vendĂ©en, Les Peupliers est situĂ© dans le hameau prĂ©servĂ© de La BaffardiĂšre, qui fait partie d'une zone protĂ©gĂ©e d'une beautĂ© naturelle exceptionnelle, au sein de la rĂ©serve naturelle de la riviĂšre Yon. La propriĂ©tĂ© se trouve dans une ruelle calme sans circulation, d'oĂč il y a de nombreuses promenades et balades Ă  vĂ©lo Ă  travers des ruelles boisĂ©es et des sentiers jusqu'Ă  la riviĂšre yon. Le joli village du Champs St Pere est Ă  seulement quelques minutes en voiture ou en vĂ©lo, oĂč vous trouverez un supermarchĂ© avec station-service, pharmacie, boulangerie, bar et restaurant et un marchĂ© sur la place du village le jeudi matin. À 20 minutes au nord du Champs St Pere se trouve la ville universitaire florissante de La Roche Sur Yon, et Ă  Ă©gale distance au sud est la ville historique et cathĂ©drale de Lucon. La belle ville de La Rochelle et l'Ile de RĂ© exclusive sont Ă  moins d'une heure.

Possibly the best equipped holiday home we have ever stayed in.The home is immaculate, well thought out and beautifully decorated we absolutely loved everything about it.We had some lovely days out in the area and enjoyed our daily swim in the warm pool and .the sunset on the front lawn was glorious

All that we could have wished for. A lovely home in sparkling condition in a great location. Lots to do locally with special beaches a 20-30 minute drive away but we spent most of our time relaxing by the super pool housed outside the kitchen door. Perfect!

A fabulous place to stay

The property has all modern facilities and is beautiful inside and out. Everything one could possibly need was provided, including basics in the kitchen cupboards like teabags, cooking oil etc. There was also a thoughtful welcome pack of basic foods- butter, milk, jam etc. The pool is lovely. The beds are comfy, the bathrooms immaculate. Probably the best gite we have ever stayed in.

Such a lovely home. You can tell that the owners enjoy their home-from-home and the facilities are first class. The kitchen has everything you could need and the pool area is very private.

Fabulous!!!

We are regular visitors to France every summer for the last 30 years and this property is one of the best we have ever stayed in. Clean, well equipped ( especially the kitchen!) and loads to do around the area. Super comfy beds coupled with being very quiet resulted in excellent rest after fun days out exploring an amazing area. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Fantastic place to stay and a beautiful Gite in a very quiet location. Ideal for the beaches, and other spots to visit in the area. Outstanding facilities and a lovely pool. We had a fantastic holiday at Les Peupliers, thank you Julie. The house is immaculate and very nicely furnished. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The heated pool was great and very private, a real sun trap! The village is really peaceful so sitting out at night under the stars listening was lovely. We'll definitely be back!!

Lovely to be back again

This was our 4th stay and it didn't disappoint. We last stayed here 10 years ago, can't believe its been that long but it was so nice to be back. The addition of the electric pool cover was a bonus. The villa is equipped with everything you could want and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to be in the Vendee area.

Great Villa = wonderful holiday

Wonderful house with everything you need for what ever type of holiday you want - relaxing or fun filled. As soon as you walk in it feels like a home not just a house. We all loved the pool - in it every day :-) We've stayed in 6 or 7 properties in the Vendee over the years and can honestly say this was the best. Wonderfull house with pool

We had a very nice holiday in the beautiful house. The welcome pack was great and so was the service. The property with the large garden and pool is very nice. It was very quiet and you could relax wonderfully. It is very well equipped. We'd love to come back.

Summer family holiday

Excellent family holiday at this beautiful villa. Lovely area to stay with easy access to some great seaside side towns and stunning beaches. Great house and pool!

A really lovely house and pool in a very private and peaceful setting. The selection of board games was a really nice surprise. The local town had a great supermarket which sold everything we needed. We enjoyed visiting Green Venice, the la Terriere beach at La Tranche Sur Mer, the Indian Forest, the Castle of Adventures and the inflatable Splash Game course at l'Aguillon-sur-mer.

Perfect villa, wonderful location

This was our third visit to this little peace of heaven! Fabulous villa, comfortable, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. The location is wonderfully peaceful and the pool area is the perfect place to sunbathe and swim. We ventured out to the wonderful beach at Le Terrier and also visited Les Sables d'Olonne where there are lots of lovely restaurants, cafes and shops. I'm sure we'll be back for a fourth visit! Perfect Property

Les Peupliers is perfect. After 25 years of staying in excellent places all over France, this is the best. The pool is amazing, everything in Les Peupliers is well maintained and excellent quality. As well as relaxing by the pool we enjoyed days out in nearby costal resorts and inland towns. We had a fantastic 4 weeks. Thank you Natalie for looking after the place so well & to Julie for the ease of booking, great communication & a fantastic welcome pack.

Superb villa in quiet location

The villa is as described in the information but exceeded our expectations. It is located in a small hamlet and is quiet and secluded. The villa itself is of a high standard and is clean. The pool area is particularly impressive and you can sunbathe at any time of the day. It is handy to have a small supermarket and bakery a short drive away in the next village. It is well placed to visit major towns and attractions including La Rochelle which has to be our favourite! Natalie, the property manager, was very helpful. In all a great place to stay - we would recommend.

Very nice house with heated swimming pool

Everything was kept nicely, we had everything we needed for our stay. The first night we stayed in a double bed in the master bedroom but it was too small. We asked to use the twin beds together as a king bed and it was arranged. We had a very nice time and the house is kept in good condition, all the linen, towels and kitchen appliances were available. There were also some nice welcome presents like wine, bread, butter, all very useful.

Great holiday!

Had a brilliant week here. House was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bathrooms were really good size and the kitchen was very well equipped. The different outdoor spaces and pool worked really well for our 3 generation holiday! We all enjoyed the peace and walking and cycling in all the quiet paths and roads. We cycled or walked into La Champ St Pere every day for wonderful croissants and found the supermarket there had everything we needed. Julie was very responsive to me many questions in the run up to the holiday and all in all a great holiday.

We chose to buy a holiday home in this area because we love the combination of peaceful, unspoiled countryside alongside miles of beautiful uncrowded beaches. It's the perfect place to relax, but we also like being able to dip into the more 'touristy' areas when the fancy takes us! The villa is where we spend most of our holiday time and so is furnished and equipped to a very high standard.
