La Fermette est une ancienne ferme et un grenier aménagé avec une piscine privée et un court de tennis de taille championnat situé dans 2 hectares de jardins isolés, principalement des pelouses ouvertes avec des arbres matures. La Villonière est un hameau paisible situé à égale distance entre 3 villages qui proposent boulangeries, restaurants, boutiques et un supermarché. 10 couchages dans 4 grandes chambres Nous avons également une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite et une télévision gratuite pour vos programmes en anglais

We had a fantastic stay. The area is lovely and peaceful but with plenty to do within driving distance. The house offered so many amenities that all the family could enjoy. The pool, tennis court, table tennis, table football and pool table kept everyone entertained. There was plenty of space and communication with the host was great. Would definitely return and recommend to others. Thank you for a fantastic time.

Pleasant family vacation

We could make the best of the somewhat poor weather thanks to the many options in and around the house, and a golf 20mn away. The family including 3 teens enjoyed it. Very easy communication with Mike and local support to check on electric issues.

Fantastic house!!!

We had a fantastic holiday! The weather in the first week was not so great, but we could entertain us with the pool, tennis, snooker and ping pong. We were also very happy with the furniture in the living room. The sofas were very comfortable. The house is great and the communciation with Mike was very good. Peaceful holidays without giving up

Together with two families (8 persons) plus a dog, we spent a great, quiet holiday here. Mike is a really nice host, who react on any question we had at once. The farmhouse had everything one would need with two families. The children enough variety with pool, tennis, billiards and table football. The house is tastefully furnished and offers all residents enough space and opportunities to stay. The kitchen is equipped with everything, nothing was missing. The pool is well fenced, so no worries with little children. On the hot days we were happy about the shady trees in the garden around the pool. Restaurants were hard to find in the area. Next shop was 9 minutes away in town. We would really recommend this house. You will not regret coming here, if you wish a calm holiday, far away from any tourism bustle.

Overall, a great villa for an active family in a quiet location

La Fermette is in a small, quite hamlet five minutes drive from local shops and half an hour from major shops and facilities in lovely La Roche sur Yon. The grounds are spacious with the excellent swimming pool and tennis court being highlights of our holiday. Internally, the living area is large with plenty of seating and the adjacent patio is great for al fresco dining. The kitchen/dining area is big enough but the kitchen fittings and facilities need a makeover. Showers and WCs are adequate. There are four bedrooms but the configuration would not suit all. Two on the ground floor are suitable for couples. However, the two first floor bedrooms have extremely creaky floors with no ceiling below and any movement upstairs creates very loud noises in the bedrooms below. Beware also that conversation in the ground floor bedrooms is amplified in the first floor bedrooms! We would have liked flyscreens on the bedroom windows for ventilation. The staircase to the first floor has very restricted height and 3 out of 4 adults managed to bump their heads.

HOME FROM HOME IN PEACE AND QUIET

Very comfortable, well maintained and equipped rural retreat for active and less active alike! Lots of comfortable sofas for reading and watching the Olympics and lots of activities for the more active family members. The pool is really good with a lovely deep end and a fence to keep out the toddlers. The lack of light pollution gave the most glorious night skies. Easy to use and very relaxed and friendly owners. Hard to come back home...

Best France Holiday by far!!!

We have just got back and did not want to leave. Fantastic house, facilities and location. Pool, tennis and other games were such a bonus and great fun. Weather was great too. Fabulous Holiday

Oh how we loved this beautiful place, very rural and peaceful. Suited us so well with the wonderful pool, tennis court, and of course the table football, well used in the evening! Great for walking and cycling in the area, with lovely little villages around. Shopping locally or in the brilliant market at La Roche meant we had bbq's most nights with superb food. Everything as it says and would certainly recommend, it is an excellent family retreat and obviously loved by the helpful owners over the years.

Lovely country retreat with many facilities

We had a fabulous stay at La Fermette la villoniere. The farmhouse was very spacious, light airy and very well equipped. The tranquillity due to its countryside location was ideal but not too far away from amenities. The tennis court, pool and table football ensure that there was plenty to keep us amused when we felt like leaving the sunloungers. We will definitely be back.
