Villa individuelle avec jardin dans un endroit calme à seulement 2 km de la plage

Magnoon Villa est un bungalow détaché nouvellement construit dans un grand jardin avec palmiers et arbres fruitiers.
Il est situé dans un hameau résidentiel calme à seulement 2 km de la plage de Narigama.
Il y a 2 chambres doubles chacune avec des ventilateurs de plafond et des unités de climatisation indépendantes.
Chaque chambre a sa propre salle de bain avec douche et WC.
La cuisine équipée a un plan de travail en marbre, un grand réfrigérateur avec glacière et une cuisinière à gaz pleine grandeur avec four.
Il y a aussi une bouilloire électrique, un grille-pain et un mixeur.
Le grand salon a des portes ouvrant sur une grande terrasse orientée à l'ouest qui donne sur une rizière - idéal pour se détendre avec un verre le soir en regardant le soleil se coucher.
Il y a une salle à manger avec table pour six personnes.
Il y a une télévision avec connexion TV satellite, un lecteur DVD et un lecteur CD avec radio.

Peaceful

We booked magnoon villa for one week, but landed up staying for 4 weeks, so i think that speaks for it self. Magnoon villa was far better than what we expected, so peaceful and homely, with the birds and the monkeys, and watching the rice ripen while we were there. Mahinde and his family made us very welcome, if we had a problem they dealt with it immediately. We enjoyed the barbeque, which we shared with the family plus several children in the neighbourhood, it was lovely to see them joining in with us, and the curry was very nice, but far too much. Even though it was 2 kilometres from the beach, it was lovely to walk sometimes and meet all the locals, so friendly, and wanting to talk to us and wanting to show us there homes, and inviting us in for a cup of tea, where do you find that in the uk? We were very sad to leave, because we had such an enjoyable holiday. If you have never tried self catering in sri lanka, give Magnoon a try, you wont regret it. paradise

We stayed at Magnoon in feb 2011 and had the honour of being the first paying guests to stay there, what to say? The stunning location, the beautiful villa equipped with everything you could possibly need, the lovely decor, the comfortable beds, etc, etc, this truly was paradise, the owner and his manager have thought of everything including milk, sugar, tea and bottled water. Mahinda the manager lives just over the wall and wandered across a couple times for a drink and chat but was never intrusive and made clear we could call him anytime, day or night, if we had a problem, the only problem we had was leaving this wonderful place at the end of our stay. the owner was lovely to talk to on the phone and sent us a map of the local area. it is ideally situated for exploring the south of the island both on the coast and inland, we had breakfast at the villa, lunch out and gratefully returned to the tranquility of Magnoon for dinner. Basils Italian restaurant in hikkaduwa do ravioli to die for. We will return as we loved it so much at Magnoon, thank you Peter and Mahinda
