Large Detached House In Central Caithness

It is tight for six, but we regular stay as a party of 10, 6 adults & 4 children. There are plenty of spare chairs, we take the one out the living room to make a 6. Beds we always get good reviews. Apart from the sofa bed which we did advise Colin not to use, but it is going to be replaced soon.

I did reply to Rob, the cleaners did a pretty poor job in the Kitchen, the oven was not clean nor was the floor washed plus the window cleaner had not be in past. I apologized for the failings and the previous guest smoking inside. We are not 100% sure where the old towel came from but there are a bunch used for cleaning one must have been left out, why he thought that was being offered for their use I have no idea, especially as told me there were the normal guest ones left out and he even sent a picture with the spare extra ones stored in the wardrobe apparently they were not clean as well ! Please note; all the bedding towels, etc are cleaned at the Wick launderette weekly and replaced regularly. So yes, we did screw up this time but not as badly as Rob is making out in his review, there are a few tired items in the house but there is also a lot of brand new items in the house. It's the family holiday home we love so do lots other people, the oven would not have bothered me, but it was not good enough for a guest we let Rob down and will try for better in the future.

Just replaced the main bedroom mattress and the uncomfortable single. The single was only a year old but it had to go. Dec 2018. I was hoping to say I replaced one of the couches but there was nothing in red locally, maybe I will find one on my next trip home in May.
