Wonderful location just outside Newquay. Great views, lots of space, fully equipped, and very well prepared. Communication with the property owner was first class. Couldn't fault it.

The house is stunning with its spacious interior, all the amenities you could imagine and the view of Crantock beach being the icing on the cake. You can’t beat this location for our favourite beaches and it’s only a short walk in to town.The hosts have been very helpful with a thorough and detailed list of everything you need to know about the property along with hints and tips on tide times and options for activities etc. in the area.Would 100% recommend!!!!

This is the place

All 10 members of our family ages 8 to 78 and two small dogs had a brilliant holiday at 2A Riverside Avenue. The space in the house and the location are as good as it gets. If you want an active holiday surfing, paddle boarding, walking the dog, or if you just want to sit on the terrace and watch the everchanging view this is the place to do it.

All very good and a great base for a week of varied activity. Access to beach a strong plus, albeit a little challenging on the steep path steps. Excellent accommodation and facilities, rather better than the photos. Small maintenance issues generally dealt with promptly.

Perfect Place

Lovely property exactly as described. Access to Gannel estuary was a bit steeper than we expected so we are all very fit now. The estuary is perfect for toddlers and children to play on the sand and in the water pools. We took kayaks and SUPs with us and had great fun when the tide was higher.

A really fabulous stay with extended family at this wonderful house. It really does have a real wow factor, the view is incredible. The house is spacious, stylish, clean and well equipped. But, it doesn’t loose it’s ability to feel relaxed and homely. Lots to do in the immediate vicinity. I think we ate in many of them; The Sunset Café, The Fern Pit, Jam Jar, The Headland, Bowie and Lewennick Lodge. We walked, Kayaked and the younger boys swam and surfed. Great place to holiday!

Lovely property, just as described, in a great location with beautiful views over the estuary. The house is very well equipped with modern furnishings and appliances, and the owners have gone the extra mile to make sure that everything you need, and more, is available. We had a couple of minor issues whilst we were there, but Supannee was on hand and fixed them quickly and without fuss. Would definitely return.

Outstanding location and excellent quality accommodation. Excellent quality beds. Appreciated supply of dressing gowns and log burner. Kitchen very well stocked and a lovely Open Plan kitchen diner lounge. Table tennis table is outdoors and games room A bit smaller than expected but I can imagine a very useful room if there are children in the party. Views generally are outstanding but from garden room is spectacular. Additional information About things to do walks restaurants and tides provided by owner was very helpful and detailed.

Absolutely beautiful property and location

I stayed here with my family (4 grown up couples and my Grandson aged 2) and this property lived up to all of our expectations. The location is fantastic for accessing the Gannel to use our canoe and paddle boards. The views are stunning and the property was well equipped with everything anyone could need during the stay. The kitchen also had everything you could need and all the appliances and utensils were top quality. Every bedroom had an en suite which made it so much easier for everyone during the stay. The host provided a lovely welcoming box upon arrival for us which was a lovely touch. The pre-arrival communication was great and all of my enquiries were answered promptly, a big thank you to the host and everyone involved with this lovely property.

Family Christmas break

We had a very comfortable stay in this lovely modern open plan house with fabulous views over to Crantock. The House is very well equipped with everything thought of and provided (bar toiletries in en-suite bathrooms). Kitchen is very comprehensively stocked with all utensils and crockery aplenty and basic supplies and a welcome hamper with a bottle of lovely fizz! Beds very comfortable! outdoor terrace has an amazing view down to Crantock beach and we sat out with our evening drinks to watch the sunset kept warm by outdoor blankets provided. Perfect. We even did a morning dip in the river Gannel at bottom of the garden! The owners were very easy to get hold of and responded very quickly when we had a hitch with the heating. A really lovely Christmas which we haven’t managed for 4 years. Thank you

Amazing property in a fantastic location, the property manager was quick to resolve any minor issues and the owner provided detailed information pre-stay that was really helpful. We had a lovely time.

Summer Break

The property was as stunning as the photos imply. One of the main reasons for staying at this property was the location with beautiful views of the Gannel and just moments away from Fistral beach. Perfectly located for taking many long walks, which we did! The property lacks for nothing and has plenty of room for everyone. The owners have tried to anticipate everyone's needs, especially in the kitchen. Tastefully furnished and comfortable. Heather was a delight to work with and supplied comprehensive information well in advance of our trans-Atlantic trip.

Stunning property, fantastic location

Well we fell in love in the first few minutes of opening the door. And it got better and better. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need, wonderful beds (we fell in love with the Garden room), stylish and open look to every room. But the cherry on top with sprinkles is the views. different on every level, at every time of day and from dawn to dusk. Heather and her staff are wonderful and the guide to Crantock is superb with lots of helpful local hints and tips. So please don't stay here - as we want to book again and don't want it to get booked up! :-)
