Cottage victorien de caractère en face de terres communes dans le parc national New Forest

La propriété se compose d'un espace de vie décloisonné comprenant une cheminée victorienne avec une nouvelle cuisine moderne avec des appareils encastrés et une salle de bains moderne (située au rez-de-chaussée). Le chalet bénéficie d'un double vitrage complet et d'un nouveau système de chauffage central tous installés au cours des dernières années. A l'étage, il y a 2 chambres 1 double et 1 simple. Il y a un grand jardin arrière privé bien entretenu avec de nombreux sièges à l'extérieur. Le parking est directement devant le chalet.

The property was very clean, cosy and comfortable and the safe, dog-friendly garden was beautiful. There were thoughtful and helpful welcome items, including milk and bottled water. Great little find. Small cottage but as described. My husband and son are tall, so they had to be careful when using the stairs, due to low ceilings but a lovely property and garden. Small Tescos and One Stopat the end of the road (2 min walk) Takeaways within 15 mins walk (fish & chips, Chinese, Indian...) Found a lovely forest walk around 10 mons drive away and the coast was also only 10 mins drive. Would be totally happy to stay again.

Brilliant stay here, perfect location for the places we wanted to visit. The cottage was well equipped, very clean and smelt lovely. Parking was on road just outside no problem at all, instructions on how to access cottage all clear! Actually couldn't fault it!!

What an absolutely fabulous cottage. Just what we needed for a few days away in the half term.Well equipped, comfy beds, lovely shower.Close enough to Lymington to walk there for shopping and restaurants.15 min drive into the forest for a beautiful traffic free cycle ride. 15 mins drive to the beach for a walk.We'd definitely stay again.

I feel I have to clarify that we furnish and decorate the cottage in keeping with its 150 year old age.Our aim has always been to provide a homely confortable feel for our guests not just a basic holiday let. There are no personal belongings left in the cottage and every ornament,picture etc is placed there to obtain the right atmosphere.The cottage is as the photos and escription show on web site. A disappointing 3 star first time ever

Lovely cottage with a beautiful garden.As mentioned the stairs are steep but we managed with no problem (we are in our late 60's and early 70's)Opposite the common so good for a walk and easy access to Lymington. Lovely little cottage

We very much enjoyed our 3-night stay at the cottage. It was spotlessly clean inside with a well-equipped kitchen - handy as we like to cook in the evenings. Lovely garden too. Good location for visiting rivers, coast and New Forest.

Cosy cottage

Mick & Linda have always loved the New Forest area and purchased the cottage and used as a second home for many years. We could not think of a lovelier area to spend time whether a day out or holiday.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We chose the Pennington/Lymington area as it has the best of both worlds the property being within the New Forest National park but only minutes from the sea and the lovely Georgian town of Lymington. The property looks out over common land ideal for dog walkers with large play area for small children yet local shops and a pub are less than a few hundred yards away and within a few minutes drive all the unique shops, pubs and restaurants around Lymington are there for all to enjoy.

The property offers a very tastefully and comfortably furnished living space being fully modernised with all new double glazing and,central heating system. It also retains some original features being a Character Victorian cottage. There are both coastal and forest walks with many other outdoor pursuits on the doorstep. Also easy access to many other attractions in the surrounding area. Parking is no problem directly outside the property.
