Idéal pour la paix et la tranquillité ou près de St Tropez pour la vie nocturne et les bons restaurants. Great Place to stay! Perfect communication, easy check-in and everything in you need for wonderful holidays. Beach, a small supermarkt and restaurants are in walking distance, so there is no need to make use of the car. Personally enyojed most the Weber Barbecue and the sea view from the balcony!

Cosy place with stunning panorama

The place is ideally located to reach the pampelonne beaches and gigaro as well even by a short walk. We felt very good accomodated in this house and enjoyed wonderfull time on the marvelous terrace.

We really enjoyed staying at Kate’s property. It was very clean, well equipped and communication with Kate was great. The property is very well located, 15/20 min walk from Gigaro beach where there are restaurants and the entrance to a national park. We did a long hike and loved it. The property is also very quiet with lovely views over the hills and the sea. The terrasse is really lovely and the BBQ was first rate. We particularly appreciated that there was a baby cot, change pad and an excellent washing machine and dish washer. At the start of our stay the kitchen sink stopped draining and Kate sent a plumber immediately to help fix the problem. We really appreciated this! For guests staying for longer, an extra set of hand towels, towels and bed linen (that guests can wash themselves) would be helpful. Thank you again! We’ll definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful area of France

We had a perfect time, thank you for being so accommodating. The house is beautiful and the photos do not give it justice. It's perfect for families. The area is lovely and you can walk to the beach. There are some amazing restaurants at the beach. We loved it and will be back next year, thanks again.

Holiday home in a quiet, green area

The house was neat and clean and nicely decorated. It was nice that there were beach towels. The landlord responded quickly. We had a heat wave and the house stayed quite warm at night. Great house with beautiful views.

3 Hauts de Gigaro

My family and I stayed at this property for two weeks in July/August 2023. It is a well located and equipped bijou residence with stunning views of the surrounding hills and the sea. The Gigaro beaches are within easy reach by car. Thoroughly recommended.

Great holiday

We really enjoyed staying at Kate‘s house. It is lovely decorated and very tidy. Kate was always available when questions arised on our side. We would highly recommend to close all windows in the afternoon / evening due to mosquitos. We would definitely stay again. Thank you, Kate!

Restful and restorative

Kate’s place is set in an area that feels like a secret still. In amongst the umbrella pines and cypress trees, it is a short walk to Gigaro Beach and on to Cap Lardier. Ramatuelle is a short drive for delicious suppers in the evening sun and we even found a couple of excellent jazz festivals. All in all, we spent a week which was both restful and restorative.The house is just as described in the details. Communication with Kate was speedy, informative and helpful. Neighbours were both quiet and respectful. Stylishly furnished, well equipped and comfortable we can definitely recommend Kate’s place.

Gigaro

The house was in a lovely position on the hill above Gigaro coast surrounded by greenery and with sea view in the distance. We did walk down the hill a couple of times but got lazy in the end and drove, it was a quick to drive to the Spa bakery in the mornings and there are lots of beaches to access. Kitchen was well equipped and sofas comfy for lounging and looking out at the view. The beach bars with sun beds have gone upmarket since we were last here, a bit too much for our taste in the case of le Brigantine (ex little rustic Pepé le Pirate) but Heraclée (la Cabane) we still liked. Lovely couple of weeks.

Bon séjour

Maison très bien équipée et joliment décorée. L'extérieur est spacieux et agréable, orienté est, ce qui permet d'en profiter pleinement dès la fin d'après-midi lorsque le soleil a basculé de l'autre côté. La chaleur est en effet torride au mois d'août et l'absence de climatisation s'est fait durement sentir. Deux points importants manquent de précision sur l'annonce : (i) la maison est mitoyenne avec une autre, la terrasse de l'autre dominant celle de la maison (avec une petite haie entre les deux toutefois), nous avons eu la chance de n'avoir que peu de voisins pendant notre séjour, mais ça aurait pu être un point très négatif, et (ii) la maison est vraiment dans le haut de Gigaro et il faut au minimum 20 mn de marche soutenue pour atteindre la plage, en aucun cas 10 mn comme il est mentionné dans l'annonce ! Enfin, la deuxième chambre gagnerait à être équipée de 2 lits simples plutôt qu'un lit double pour accueillir des familles, pas moyen de faire dormir deux ados ensemble par une telle chaleur, l'un d'eux a fini sur le canapé... Bref, nous avons globalement passé un bon séjour, mais nous estimons que le prix est élevé compte tenu de l'absence de climatisation et de la distance à la plage. Kate a été une hôte très agréable et réactive. Nous avons apprécié la remise accordée du fait de la présence d'une grue de construction juste sous la maison à cette période (aucuns travaux en été, juste la vue gâchée).

Dear Thomas and family, Thank you for taking the time to review the house and it was great to have you to stay this summer. As you mention we don't have aircon but we do have Pro Breeze 5L powerful air coolers which definitely keep the bedrooms at a nice temperature and a fan in the living room although during the day the house stays quite cool with its situation on the hill. We may be a little more expensive than some but we do include all sheets/towels/beach bag & towels/toiletries and many other small things to make your holiday easy & an even better experience. Calme , détente , et vue magnifique

Très bel endroit , avec belle vue mer et colline . maison spacieuse et jardin agréable . Manque une climatisation , d'autant que la moustiquaire d'une chambre est dégradée , ne permettant pas de laisser ouvert . Un peu loin à pied de la plage , et route fastidieuse pour rejoindre les plages ( lesquelles sont magnifiques et variées ).Très bon séjour , et Kate très sympa !

I understand the mosquito net in the bedroom Wouldn’t close. I wish you had told me before and we would have fixed immediately - we will do so now. We love the road to the beach as you say it is really pretty and quiet .. and taking 3 minutes by car I think it quite close yet far enough away in the hills there is some air in the evenings- We look forward to seeing you next year ! Une belle maison dans un cadre magnifique

Une belle maison confortable et bien équipée avec une très belle vue sur la forêt et la mer. Une facilité d'accès qui permet de se rendre en voiture au village, à Ramatuelle et à St Tropez rapidement. La possibilité de se rendre à la plage à pied en une vingtaine de minutes est un plus.La maison de Kate est un lieu très propice à passer de belles vacances reposantes. Merci pour tout.

Merci Claude! We really loved having you to stay. And I am sure you noticed but we have been upping the cleaning routines during these times with anti bacterial soap by each sink and antibacterial spray all the surfaces to keep us safe. On a lighter note, I have recently found a new ‘Learn to sail or wind surf’ camp for kids in Croix Valmer and also a tennis camp in the village 9-11am so plenty to keep us all fit apart from the headland walks ! Great little place close to the lovely beach of Gigaro

We really enjoyed staying here for a few quiet days. Conveniently located near the village La Croix-Valmer and the lovely beaches of Gigaro, with lovely walks around the cost. Hope we come back again

Great stay in La Croix at Kate's - perfect for 2 couples

We have really enjoyed our stay at Kate's place. She was really responsive on all my messages, despite of time difference between us (I live in USA). Our arrival was smooth and adjusted to our needs. Whole place is proper, well equipped and as described. We were able to make eggs for breakfast and we used grill for 2 dinners. The view from balcony is amazing. Neighborhood is really nice and rather quite. Closeness to the beach and restaurants there allows you to walk there if you want nightlife, but keep your privacy if you want to stay and chill on the terrace. Breakfast outside was great beginning of the day. Downsides - lack of the AC in bedrooms might keep you awake at nigh (if, like my American husband, you are used to it). We used provided fans and left windows opened. It helped. House has problems with ants, so make sure you have food out only a moment when you are starting to eat. Some ants were walking on sofas downstairs, bedrooms were clean. An advise - we used grill and had good time eating our dinner from it. Just remember not to use it your last day - it is required to clean it on your own and we were rushing with it in the morning (as grill during use gets greasy and difficult to clean quickly). Maybe Kate can add that to the cleaning fees or the additional fee you/we pay for usage of the grill anyway.

Urszula & friends, Thank you for staying with us and your feedback. I am glad you had a great time! Sorry to hear about the ants, these certainly aren't a normal problem at the house and we will sort this straight away, we could have done while you were there had we known, of course. Summer in the south of France sometimes brings some friends ! We will get this fixed immediately. We dont expect you to clean the BBQ at the end of your stay if you are using, the £25 includes gas and cleaning when you leave and I will make sure this is made more clear. We hope to see you again at some point in the future when you visit Europe again, and enjoy the rest of the good weather, Kate and Family

Maison avec vue magnifique

Très belle maison avec une vue magnifique sur les collines de Gigaro et la mer. Propriétaire très courtois, qui prend soin des préoccupations des vacanciers. La maison s'adapte parfaitement pour un couple seule ou avec deux enfants. Cuisine et SDB sont bien équipées, les meubles estivales en bois sur la grande terrasse. La plage de Gigaro est accessible à 15/20 minutes de marche à pied ou 5 minutes en voiture (attention rues en partie non asphaltées).

magnifique séjour dans cette maison cosy et très bien équipée

excellente relation avec Kate la propriétaire, à l'écoute, réactive et qui fait tout pour rendre le séjour agréable. Panier d'accueil avec gourmandises, du rosé au frais et même de quoi se faire un petit déj si on arrive tard! maison au calme, sans vis a vis et une petite vue sur la mer très appréciable, belle terrasse, déco chaleureuse et très bien équipée; je recommande!

We hebben enorm genoten van het huis en vooral van het prachtige uitzicht vanaf het terras. Wat een rust en prachtige natuur. Het strand dichtbij en mooie dorpjes in de omgeving. Het huis is gezellig ingericht, knus. September is een fijne maand om er te verblijven. Wij komen zeker weer!
