Wonderful place to stay, fantastic location, friendly and welcoming hosts, close to many places to explore or just great walks outside the door in some beautiful countryside. Very dog friendly too. The accommodation had everything you could need and was very clean and comfortable .

We had an incredible stay-the cottage was excellent and in beautiful surroundings. The hosts gave a very comprehensive pack of information about the local area and it was a fantastic base for exploring Dorset. We would love to return at some point and would highly recommend it

Lovely property in countryside location with fabulous views over the alpaca field. Cottage itself had everything we needed for a relaxing view days with lots of information provided on local area. Very welcoming hosts in Paul and Fiona and their dog Guiness, added bonus was Paul's collection of classic cars which is available for guests to view.I would definitely recommend staying in the property.

A breath of peace and tranquility. A moment to pause, relax and enjoy. A stunning beautifully appointed space, everything we needed and more. Gorgeous views of the alpaca and welcomed visits from Guinness ( the resident spaniel)to ensure we had settled in and brought snacks!!Paul & Fiona were incredibly hospitable and provided a wealth of information about the surrounding area. They recommended walks, driving routes & pubs all very useful and fun to explore. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It all went too quickly.

Fantastic short break, property was beautiful and had everything we needed. Absolutely loved the alpacas, unique experience, come prepared with carrots! Lots to see and do in the area, lovely walks straight from the cottage. Appreciated the welcome from the owner and the comprehensive welcome pack, very useful.

Paul and Fiona are the kindest, most helpful, generous, gracious hosts we've ever met. They made our stay in their lovely Alpaca farm property, relaxing and very comfortable. They went out of their way to help us when we had issues with our rental car, en route to their cottage.The cottage and property are beautiful. We definitely recommend this cottage and hope to stay again in the future. Thank you Paul and Fiona for a truly wonderful experience.

Beautiful location. Great walks from the cottage and lots to do nearby (with a car). The alpacas are fun to watch and loved chatting with their caretaker, Fiona. Note, washer/dryer is in a separate barn so access needed to be coordinated.Host kindly provided tea, sugar, biscuits and cream upon our arrival!

A really great place to stay, excellent accommodation, friendly and approachable hosts. Beautiful setting in countryside. Lots of local walks and within easy reach of Dorset Coast. The nearby Greyhound pub was good recommendation from Paul and Fiona.

A lovely cottage in peaceful and relaxing surroundings, perfectly placed to easily explore the Dorset scenery and attractions. Despite the weather being cold and wet, the cottage was always warm and cosy and the view from the windows over the alpaca field was perfect entertainment, Great communication with the owner Paul throughout. We hope to be back soon.

Property easy to locate. Parking very close to property. Welcomed by the host who explained things to us.We looked out at the park land where the alpacas were which was a delight and being able to walk over to see them and even help with feeding was very special.We had a comfortable and relaxing short break.

Peaceful and a great view

Loved our short break in the country and seeing the Alpacas every day. The property it clean and has everything you need for a stay, and better still it is dog friendly.

Lovely Dorset Break

Lovely three days in Aloaca Cottage, very quiet and comfortable as described and well located for days out in lovely Dorset region with good walks and great beaches only a short drive away. The Cottage is very well appointed and perfect for a few days of relaxation.

Wonderful stay

Spent 3 nights in April 2023, could easily have stayed much longer. Cottage is lovely, lots of great walks and pubs locally. Appreciated all the local knowledge and suggestions from the hosts. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Unique fantastic stay

We had such lovely time in the cottage set in the most unique and beautiful place with Alpacas. The host was very welcoming and made us feel at home. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
