Our dog-friendly non smoking! family home is detached and located almost on the Rothaarsteig and the forest. "Haus Steinblick" is very sunny against a mountain in the village of Elleringhausen, part of Luftkurort Olsberg. Our target group is therefore non-smoking families/groups with dogs because walking with four-legged friends is great here.
Haus Steinblick has the most beautiful view of the Sauerland, namely on the Bruchhauser Steine, this has been the 2nd national park in Germany since 2018 and the only one in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The house has an indoor large garage under the house, the entrance height is 2 meters.
On the ground floor there is a large living room, a dining room with a dinette, a kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and toilet. A staircase to the lower floor (hall with sauna, basement bathroom and garage). And a hallway with dog crate and with access to the entrance (front door) and the stairs to the upper floor.
Upstairs are 3 large bedrooms, a spacious landing with sitting/sleeping area and a bathroom with bath and toilet. Total living area is over 240m2, with over 600m2 of fenced garden. Downstairs are the garage, a hall with 2-person infrared sauna, a storage room, a bathroom with shower, toilet, washing machine and dryers, and a hallway with access to the oil heater. There are 4 bedrooms with double beds 180x200 and one bedroom with 2 single beds 80x200 In two bedrooms there is an extra single bed 90x200. On the landing upstairs there is a double bed 140x200 behind a curtain. On the upper floor there is a kitchenette, 2 electric burners, refrigerator, oven, kettle,nespresso and a 4-person dining area in one large room. There are also two baby-camping beds available and two high chairs. Our house is not equipped for very small children in terms of safety, no stair gates, child-proof door locks, etc. From the dining room you can access the wide balcony with panoramic views. The living room is adjacent to the terrace that extends into the garden that runs behind the house. On the terrace there is a large lounge corner sofa, a 2-seater lounge sofa, an armchair and 2 dining tables with chairs, as well as 2 BBQs and 2 sunbeds. The garden slopes slightly and there is always sun somewhere. There is also a sandbox, a small slide, a playground and a rocking horse for small children in the back garden. For dogs that run away, we have placed a sheep net around the lawn. Please note that because we have dogs and also allow them, our house will never be completely "hair-free"!
Smokers are absolutely not welcome, smoking outside on our property is also not permitted!
When renting to fewer than 8 people, we reserve the right to close bedrooms. For 4 people, you only rent the ground floor. There is Wi-Fi via satellite.
