Living in the Searsport and Belfast area of Midcoast Maine is a true gem. One of my favorite things about this area is the thriving local food scene. From fresh seafood at Young's Lobster Pound in Belfast to the delightful restaurats in Searsport, there's always a delicious meal to enjoy. The weekly farmers' markets in Belfast (Friday and Saturday) are a must-visit, showcasing the best of local produce and artisanal goods.

The rich history of the region is also captivating, with Searsport's Penobscot Marine Museum telling the story of Maine's maritime heritage. Staying here, you'll have the chance to immerse yourself in the fascinating past while being part of a vibrant, modern community.

We love the easy access to outdoor adventures, from hiking in the nearby state parks to exploring the many coastal islands. And with Belfast's thriving arts scene, including the annual Arts in the Park festival, the Colonial Theatre for movies, Belfast Maskers for live theatre, and bands at Marshall Wharf, there's never a dull moment.
