Magnifique Mas Provençal. 18 couchages. Piscine et terrain de tennis éclairé

Magnifique mas provençal en pierre ancienne avec fabuleuse piscine (6m x 12m) et terrain de tennis privé éclairé et terrain de boules avec vue sur le plateau du Vaucluse. Cette grande maison et grange aménagée peut accueillir 16 adultes et 2 enfants dans le confort avec trois grandes pièces de réception et une grande cuisine magnifiquement équipée. La maison et la grange sont enroulées autour d'une charmante cour fermée éclairée avec un vieil olivier en son centre et sont le cadre idéal pour de longs repas provençaux au soleil ou à l'ombre. Le jardin s'étend sur 10 acres en partie cultivé et en partie laissé à l'état sauvage pour les fleurs de printemps et les amandiers et les figuiers. Un pavillon d'été couvert pour les repas au bord de la piscine et les cocktails en soirée a récemment été ajouté. La maison, à seulement 3 km de l'Isle sur la Sorgue, est entourée de champs de lavande, de cerisiers et de vergers de pommiers. Son incroyablement paisible et pourtant à portée de main (10 min) du golf, du canoë, de l'équitation en VTT et des villages environnants du Luberon. La maison idéale pour les familles de tous âges et aussi pour 2 ou 3 familles à partager. C'est aussi une excellente base pour des vacances à vélo (le Mont Ventoux est à seulement 30 minutes) ou des vacances de golf et comme il y a une très grande salle de réception dans la Bergerie, il convient aux vacances Pilates / yoga ou peinture. Il y a des masses à faire toute l'année ou simplement vous détendre, vous asseoir et profiter de la Provence.


La Provence est idéale pour des vacances toute l'année et est réputée pour le soleil même lorsque le temps se refroidit. Outre le golf à proximité, la maison possède son propre court de tennis éclairé et est équipée de tennis de table, télévision par satellite, terrain de boules, vélos, chevalet et même des tables de bridge sont disponibles sur demande pour s'assurer qu'il y a beaucoup à faire quoi que mois.

Lovely roooms and grounds for large family holiday. Exceptional outdoor spaces, and overall is very well equipped. We were very well looked after - by the owners, housekeeper, cleaners, pool people etc. Our family had a great and relaxing time.

Wonderful holiday at Mas Saint Damien August 2022

We were a family group of 13 people ranging from 8 to 85 years. The stone farmhouse is beautiful with a pretty courtyard and the most fantastic pool where we spent most of our time. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Sylvie was most helpful (picking two of us up from near the station) and Krissie gave us a tour of the house and made herself available for any problems we may encounter (we didn't need to). We had two meals prepared for us by Laura - try her chicken curry - it's great! L'Isle Sur Sorgue is just 3kms away and is a very pretty village. We would love to come back again, perhaps at a different time of year so that we could explore more of the area. Marian, Tony & Family.

Great holiday with group of friends

We had a lovely stay with 16 people (12 adults and 4 under 16). The house is in a lovely quiet location but only a short, safe cycle to town and boulangerie! With 16 people we knew we would struggle to organise a restaurant so we cooked at home and the kitchen worked really well and was stocked with everything we needed. The 3 fridges were very useful. The outdoor seating area and long table creates memories that will live with us all for a long time. (By the way, eating in was good value for money: over the week all our food, wine, beer was about €120/head). The rooms were all comfortable although the very top room was on the hot side. The swimming pool, tennis court , bikes and boules court were all great. At no fault of the owner we lost power one morning and had no WiFi for a few days but that was fine (there is a little 4g reception by the pool). There was a fault with the tennis court lights when we arrived but it was fixed within 2 days. All in all it was a great holiday in a lovely part of the world. Wonderful Family Vacation July 2019

Our family of 14 had a wonderful stay! Carolyn's home is beautiful. Despite the extreme heat, the house stayed cool due to its stone construction. The outdoor dining table was perfect for family dinners. The pool was incredible - surrounded by well designed gardens. The location was centrally located for exploring Provence. BEAUTIFUL LARGE BUT COZY HOME

This space was a beautiful, large but cozy space perfect for families and friends. It is perfectly located to provide huge space to run around, play tennis, swim, and for kids, but also easily accessible to the myriad of towns and cities in the region. I have spent Christmas with my extended family at Mas Saint Damien (7 adults + 5 teenage children). We've had a great time in this huge, very well-appointed and charming house. A Christmas tree, indoor string lights and several potted cyclamens immediately made us feel at home. It was very much like staying at a friend's place. The area is just wonderful even in the wintertime. The small town of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, a short 5-minute drive away, is still very lively at this time of year. We hope to be back some time in the spring or summer to enjoy the beautiful grounds around Mas Saint Damien and the big swimming-pool.

Mas St Damien is a wonderful place to stay. Beautifully designed interiors in a Provence style with sumptious, comfortable beds and bedding and great dining areas inside and outside in the enchanting courtyard. The tennis court, swimming pool, boules court and table tennis and the grounds are all in excellent condition and beautifully maintained. The surrounding area is fascinating and delightful to explore. We hired a local cook, recommended by the owners, who brought in delicious meals. Unbeatable holiday and we will go back! A real treat!

Wonderful, comfortable home away from home

The property itself is beautiful and perfect for large groups - either a big family gathering or a group of friends. What was really nice was that the furnishings, tableware, kitchen equipment were all of a high standard and abundant, making it the perfect place to relax and entertain. The location is perfect for sight seeing and cycling and if you don't want to venture too far then it was great to relax and swim and play games.

Spectacular Mas with superb accommodation

After many years of renting large houses in the south of France for our party of 12-14 adults, this is the first to which we would gladly return. The Mas is in a secluded rural location but just five minutes drive from L'Isle sur la Sorge, a beautiful town with biweekly food market, numerous boulangeries artisanales and several good restaurants. Facilities include: well appointed bedrooms, most with en suite; a large kitchen with modern equipment including a mains-gas double-oven range cooker and every possible utensil; a large swimming pool that is kept rigorously clean; a flood-lit tennis court and all-weather ping pong. Overall, the entire property is very well maintained and managed. Fantastic!

Fabulous Farmhouse in Provence

The House has been beautifully restored and provides a superb setting for a large group holiday . We particularly enjoyed the gardens , the birdsong , and the wonderful views of the hills. In addition the tennis court and pool are of a high standard and were much appreciated as were the cycles which were used to explore the Luberon . The House is also well positioned for anyone wanting to cycle Mount Ventoux , with local cycle hire providing excellent road bikes . In all this is a great place for a relaxing holiday and or family celebration we could not recommend it more highly. We really loved it.

My mother wanted to gather all her children and grandchildren together and this gorgeous house turned out to be perfect. the tennis court and swimming pool were in use all day, every day. The alfresco table allowed us to make the most of the sunny weather and the house was very well appointed and comfortable. Isle-sur-la Sorgue is a beautiful town and much visited and rafting, bicycling etc in the local area was loved by all of us. a super week, loved by everyone of us, we are all ready planning our return. Idyllic rural getaway

An easy hop from Marseilles takes you to this delightful Provencal mas. Seemingly in the middle of nowhere, it is in fact conveniently close to excellent supermarkets, but also within a short distance of some strikingly lovely small towns. The immediate surroundings are quiet lanes, perfect for cycling. The sheltered position of the house with its charming courtyard provides the perfect shaded spot when the midday sun is overhead, but also means late-night suppers can be enjoyed without resorting to fleeces. The swimming-pool area is attractively landscaped with plenty of sunloungers and umbrellas and the view from the terrace above is the ideal spot for sunset drinks. The house is tastefully furnished in an understated style, the kitchen is well thought-out and the bathrooms are definitely 21st century.

Amazing farmhouse - wonderful!

We shared the "farmhouse" with sixteen of our closest friends for a week. Having booked through the internet, looked charming but I thought it might be a little primitive. I couldn't have been more wrong! The farmhouse and the attached rooms in the stables were beautifully furnished and equipped with everything we could possibly want. Rosemarie was on hand if there was anything we did need and was a valuable source of local information and contacts ... including a local chef who came in and cooked us a fabulous 50th birhday celebration dinner. Location was terrific - and a great place to explore Provence. Thanks again - it was brilliant!!!

We love this house so much that we have been every year for the last few years. For us it is perfect. We love the beautfiul old house which has been decorated and furnished in a stylish but really comfortable way, it feels like a real home and not a rental property. It works perfectly for every age group and usually we are a large mixed group and we make use of everything - enjoying lazy aftternoons by the pool, bike rides around the area, tennis early evening, shopping for antiques in Isle sur le Sorgue, boule and cocktails at sunset. And fabulous lunches and suppers around the great big table. So much to do. I can't recommend it more highly.

Delightful farmhouse - beautiful Provencal setting

I stayed at Mas Saint Damien as part of a Pilates and nutrition retreat and it was a perfect rural setting and location. The house and outer buildings are decorated beautifully in a simple French style. The grounds are well kept, extensive with fig trees and vines and some lovely walks nearby. Facilities were great including tennis table tennis, large swimming pool and boules pitch as well as bicycles to explore the surrounding orchards - red with ripe apples and pears which are delightful in September. Of course for the more adventurous there is canoeing and kayaking nearby. The house is just 10 minutes from Isle Sur La Sorgue which is wonderful to explore for its antiques market and pretty but local feel but there are also lots of other very pretty perched villages with local markets and boutiques to browse. The House itself is well laid out with plenty of space to get together in both the living room and dining room as well as the shade of the pergola or the courtyard so works ideally for those that want to be social and those that want to curl up with a book by the pool. Mas de Damien is a very well thought through house with lots of attention to detail throughout as well as a delightful owner who couldn't do enough for us. It is perfect for a celebration or family get together but also as a retreat in the peace and charm of Provence. Cant wait to go back!

Repeat visits says it all!

This was our third holiday at Mas St Damian, reflecting our love of this delightful property and beautiful part of Provence. The property has been decorated to a very high standard, with much emphasis on the local provencale style. It is very well equipped, immaculately clean, with well kept gardens and swimming pool. There are fans in all the bedrooms, but the house always feels so cool in the height of summer, that I never used mine. Customer service was excellent and there is an abundant supply of local information, including local bars and restaurants in the surrounding villages, which are well worth a visit, as they are all delightful. Bike rides are recommended, as the local lanes are relatively free of traffic and there are orchards galore and the windfalls are very tasty. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this charming property and already thinking about dates for next year.

A beautiful period house in a perfect location.

Mas St. Damien is a house full of character but also superbly equipped with everything a large group needs. Each bedroom, but one, has it's own smart bathroom, the kitchen is spacious with every modern appliance including two fridges and a superb, range cooker. Outside is a gorgeous pool with ample sun-chairs, table tennis, a brand new tennis court, bikes,etc. The house and grounds are superbly well-run, spotlessly clean and all is maintained to a very high standard. The location is a huge bonus with Isle Sur La Sorgue less than 10 minutes away and it is a short drive to all the hill-top villages of the Luberon, not to mention bigger cities such as Avignon, Arles and Marseilles. A fabulous house for a large family group that is also in a perfect location.
