La Suite Elk à la retraite Rocky Mountain Front est situé à 23 miles nord-ouest de Choteau, à près de 5000 pieds au-dessus du niveau de la mer, sur une section de 20 acres de la ferme Moore historique établi en 1919. Si vous êtes désireux de découvrir le «dernier meilleur endroit» dans la Couronne du continent, où les montagnes Rocheuses accidentées rencontrer l'immense Great Plains, ce qu'il est.

De nombreuses activités de plein air sont à votre porte, comme la randonnée, la photographie, la course ou le vélo. Aussi, il y a plus de 1000 miles de sentiers sauvages à pied en la Lewis and Clark National Forest et le Bob Marshall Wilderness. De plus, il y a la pêche, de chasse et de ski occasions en saison.

Il y a très peu d'endroits pour rester situés sur le Rocky Mountain Front. Il est peu peuplé avec beaucoup d'observation de la faune, y compris: mulet et cerf de Virginie, le wapiti, de nombreuses variétés d'oiseaux, des grizzlis et noirs, les tamias, des lapins et des écureuils.

Pour toutes les fois que vous préférez être confortable et rester à l'intérieur, l'intérieur est confortable et accueillant, avec des meubles de qualité, et une cuisine entièrement équipée. Le quartier est très calme si vous cherchez un écrit ou tout autre temps de création.

Les deux suites sont privées et entièrement séparés les uns, rejoints que par une grande surface d'entrée commun contenant la lessive et un peu de lecture / matériaux de jeux.

La retraite est situé dans le coeur de la Rocky Mountain Front sur le bord du désert, mais pas trop loin de la ville. Il est vraiment partie de la Couronne du continent.

The comforts of home with Breathtaking views

Laura & Aki were incredibly helpful and welcoming! The suite was FULLY stocked better than any other place I’ve stayed. They hosts have thought of every detail from the kitchen appliances to games for kids to patio chairs to enjoy the incredible views. It’s a secluded gem not far from hiking trails, small towns and Glacier. We really enjoyed our stay and will come again on our next Glacier visit!

Megan and her family were a delight to host, having just been backpacking in Glacier National Park, and before heading down to Yellowstone. They even had time for a hike up to Hidden Lake while their teen/tween relaxed at the cabin! The house was left in spotless condition. Welcome back anytime!

Very comfortable, cozy place to relax and enjoy the Rocky Mountain Front.

The property is very clean and comfortable place to relax and enjoy the Rocky Mountain Front. Great hiking options right out the back door. We hiked and fished all day and enjoyed movies, puzzles, and good books in the evenings. My husband was concerned that we were in a duplex, but we were blessed with wonderful quiet neighbors for two evenings. Property has a BBQ, TV, land line phone, and a well supplied kitchen.

Can’t say enough great things about this property!

My husband and I planned a last minute trip to Montana to spend a few days with our daughter in Glacier and surrounding area. Although we left each morning and returned for showers and a good nights sleep - Elk could definitely be a destination in itself. It was so clean (and I’m picky) and comfortable. We weren’t cooking but it is stocked with everything imaginable! We stopped in Choteau visitors center and picked up great maps of the trail system nearby and the Wilderness area down the road was gorgeous. The drive to Glacier ( st Mary’s entrance took about two hours with gas stop and some construction delay but it was a beautiful drive). We have a VERY long list of things we wished we had time for - loved being away from the crowds. Absolutely plan to return!! We did have some confusion finding the right drive because our GPS took us “around” the back way and the drive we needed to use had several standing water issues that thank goodness weren’t any deeper as we were in a small rental car! But once we knew where to go - it was easy in and out even with the water. Thank you for a beautiful stay!

Perfect!

We had an amazing stay at the Elk Suite. We stayed three nights over our 29th anniversary and had a wonderful visit. This place is the perfect place to stay to explore the Rocky Mtn Front and all the spectacular views. We had such a good time we wished we had stayed a week and are already planning a future visit. The location is gorgeous, we just can't get enough of the landscape on the Front. We loved spending time sitting overlooking the mountains and spotting for animals in the nearby fields. The place was peaceful, private and quiet. The house could not have been more comfortable and spotlessly clean, what a treat to enjoy on our vacation. The suite had everything we needed to make delicious meals and sleep well on incredibly comfortable beds. It enabled the two of us to completely relax away from our harried life at home. The interior is cozy and provides lovely spaces to relax and enjoy the view from the wall of windows in the living room/kitchen area. The suite is super bright and the sunsets are unbelievable. Truly a fantastic rental that we look forward to frequenting more in the future. This rental is perfect! Thank you for renting your home to us!

Very nice lodging in a great part of Montana

This is a nice two-bedroom cabin, with good kitchen facilities and a cozy living room for visiting and enjoying the mountain scenery. The property is scenic in its own right, and the location along Montana's Rocky Mountain Front offers (with a few mile drive to the west) great opportunities for hiking and exploring America's public lands in this dramatic landscape and its very important wildlife habitat. And, if you take the opportunity to enjoy this fine lodging in this exceptional area, please also consider supporting Montana organizations working to make sure these lands are conserved for all Americans to continue to enjoy in the future.
