RENTER BEWARE! THIS PLACE IS NOT AS PICTURED AT ALL AND IT IS FILTHY AND BUG INFESTED! Host didn't give access instructions in advance & we arrived after dark and had a very hard time getting in or reaching him. Aoartment is located on a sharp blind corner/dark dirt road. Listing pics aren't accurate. Even the furniture has changed for the worst! Place in terrible condition, filthy ancient flooring, literally holes in the walls which may help explain the BUG INFESTATION. The place is covered in ants--not just a few--they litterally swarmed and nearly covered our service dog! There are COCKROACHES AND BUGS IN THE BED, IN THE SINKS AND CRAWLING OUT OF THE DRAINS. We were covered in bug bites in our bed! There is NO AC in the main parts of the house, only wall units in each of the bedrooms. The front of the house is all windows and the porch area is shiny metal so the place is baking hot all the time or freezing cold in the bedrooms. The host was not at all helpful in remedying these issues. He refused to even provide a fan for the main rooms, The linens and sheets were of such poor quality and condition that we went to Ikea and bought cheap replacements so we could sleep. Host sent people over unannounced on 3 occassions; they were aggressive and didn't speak english so they could not help and they refused to leave--one was filming us from the street. Host literally mocked us when we asked for remedy. We had to leave after a few days and the host has refused a refund.

Thank you for sharing your experience, though it differs significantly from what our records and VRBO's own investigation show. For the sake of future guests and transparency: check-in was completed personally by myself through the phone that same night. When a cleanliness concern was raised days later through VRBO, we immediately sent our team to inspect and resolve it — they were refused entry, as was our cleaner. We were not given the opportunity to verify or address the issues raised (including the claim about damaged electrical equipment from a voltage mismatch, and pest concerns), because access was denied throughout. We take these matters seriously, which is why this case was reviewed in detail by VRBO and the payment provider over several weeks, and the outcome confirmed our handling of the situation. We stand behind our team, including the staff member who was treated aggressively during the property visit, with the testimony of a neighbour who saw the whole situation and with who I spoke later on. We wish you well and hope your future stays go more smoothly.

Nous avons passés un bon séjour dans ce parc naturel. Promenade en vélos, kayaks, soleil, mer et belles plages.

dreckig und heruntergekommen

So was dreckiges und heruntergekommenes habe ich noch nicht erlebt!!! Angebranntes verdrecktes Kochgeschirr, schmutziges Besteck und Essensreste auf den Tellern im Schrank! Wer Spinnen liebt ist hier sehr gut bedient! Die sind überall, auch im Bett. Die Fenster- und Balkontürdichtungen sind verschimmelt, die Schränke nicht geputzt, uralte Zeitungen (anno 2011) als Einlagematerial und stinken nach Moder! An meinem Aufenthalt war der Eigentümer gegenüber im Haus und hat jeden Schritt beobachtet und kontrolliert. Mal kurz weg und vergessen die Heizung abzuschalten - da war sofort die Kontrolle und die Mahnung man muss bei Verlassen des Hauses alles abstellen. Wer gerne dreckig lebt, sich gerne kontrollieren und beobachten lässt, Moder, Schimmel und Spinnen liebt, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Und damit einem nicht langweilig wird bei Ferienantritt kann man das dreckige Geschirr spülen um es benützen zu können! Ja, das hier war "was Besonderes" - überteuert und verdreckt - Sollte Ihnen sowas ebenfalls widerfahren, kontaktieren Sie sofort FEWO, melden das sofort und unverzüglich, machen Sie Fotos und ziehen Sie NICHT ein! Sie haben sonst keine Chance auf Hilfe oder Erstattung! Wer Aerger und Komplikationen sucht ist hier richtig :-)

Traumhafter Ausblick

Das blaue Haus bietet einen traumhaften Blick auf die Ria Formosa. Und wir haben viele Vögel von dort beobachten können. Vom Balkon lässt sich jeder Sonnenuntergang genießen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses war gut und die Einrichtung macht einen freundlichen Eindruck. Ein sehr schöner Urlaubsort für Frühling,Sommer und Herbst. Leider ist es im Winter doch recht kalt im Haus und die großen Fenstertüren lassen die Sonne zwar auch im Winter ins Haus. Doch wird es abends sehr schnell kalt und morgens wacht man in einem kalten Haus auf.

Idyllische Lage mit Vogelgezwitscher

Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal in dem schönen blauen Häuschen und haben die Ruhe und den schönen Blick auf die nahe gelegene Lagune und das etwas entferntere Meer mit dem herrlichen Vogelgezwitscher genossen. Wenn man auf der erhöhten Terrasse oder auf der unteren Terrasse sitzt und in den Garten mit den wunderschönen Palmen blickt kann man fantastisch entspannen. Die Fotos entsprechen absolut der Realität. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Auto kann in der Garage abgestellt werden. Fußläufig befindet sich ein gutes Fischrestaurant, nach Fuseta ist es zu Fuß allerdings über eine Stunde. Man sollte hier ein Auto haben. Dann können auch Fuseta, Olhao und Tavira oder andere Orte an der Algarve besucht werden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ruhige Lage mit herrlichem Blick

Das Häuschen hat eine super Terrasse/Balkon mit Blick über die Lagune aufs Meer und in den kleinen Garten mit wunderschönen Palmen. Es ist sehr ruhig mit herrlichem Vogelgezwitscher. In der Nähe befindet sich ein tolles Fischlokal, ansonsten benötigt man ein Auto. Der Fußweg nach Fuseta durch das Naturschutzgebiet ist etwas umständlich mangels Überquerungsmöglichkeit über den Kanal. Innen ist das Häuschen gemütlich ausgestattet. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen und uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.
