Charmante maison bien-aimée pour 8 personnes, avec grand pont sur étang et prÚs de l'océan

Venez séjourner dans notre maison rénovée et quatre chambres à coucher sur un, beau chemin privé calme à Marblehead, MA. Vous pourrez siroter des cocktails sur la terrasse donnant sur l'étang que le soleil se couche pendant que vos enfants se nourrissent les canards et jouer avec les tortues, les grenouilles et les poissons de l'étang.

Vous pouvez vous promener Ă  la plage rocheuse privĂ©e Ă  cinq minutes Ă  pied ou en voiture Ă  5 minutes de la plage de sable de la ville oĂč vous pourrez profiter de la chaudrĂ©e et un homard pendant que vos enfants construisent des chĂąteaux de sable ou jouer sur l'Ă©quipement de terrain de jeu.

En plus de tout Marblehead a à offrir, nous sommes à quelques minutes du centre-ville de Salem, la "SorciÚre City", la maison du musée Peabody Essex de renom, et le site des célébrations du mois de long en Octobre menant à Halloween.

Marblehead est un court 40 minutes Ă  Boston oĂč vous pouvez vous promener Newbury St., visiter Faneuil Hall, ou visiter Fenway Park.

Everything was super easy and convenient, the house was able to accommodate all of our needs for the trip, and we had plenty of space to stay for our group. Highly recommend this spot!

We stayed 2 weeks before Halloween and it was excellent !. The house was so clean !!! It rained the first two days we were there but it just made Salem a little spooky. We had time to go to the beach. Tide Pools, sea glass, heart rocks and shells made our day and we even found a Fort . The pond was so great watching the ducks. Had no problems while we were there and would book again.

Henry’s home was lovely! We explored Salem during the day but the house was an amazing retreat after a day of walking. There was even a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. It was perfect in every way!

Adorable home in a quiet neighborhood! Deck overlooks a pond with ducks and there’s a rocky beach about a 5 minutes’ walk away. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Plus, the host was very prompt with replies and super accommodating. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location

The location was perfect. On a beautiful pond. Bull frogs singing . Our stay wasn’t long enough. Be careful on the transitions from room to room. Small 2-3inch transition. Screwed my knee up pretty bad. It was nice to have a bbq on the deck.

Great spot!

We had a great time spending the 4th of July weekend with friends and family. The large porch made a great gathering spot. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. We were worried about not having ac but with the windows open, a nice ocean breeze and the provided fans we were fine.

Salem Girls Weekend

House was in an amazing neighborhood just a shot walk to the ocean. The house has a spectacular setting overlooking the pond - tranquil and just very lovely. Quick drive to Salem and a welcome retreat after a full day of witchy wonders and people watching. I hope to get back to The Pond House one day.

Gorgeous Home!

This is an absolutely beautiful home and was perfect for our annual girls weekend! This house has plenty of room (and bathrooms!), a stocked kitchen, gorgeous deck, and is a short drive away from Salem (Ubers find it easily too). Henry is incredibly nice, accommodating, and responsive. The pond ducks were also friendly and said hello back to us when we talked to them (just be mindful of their little bellies and don't feed them bread!). We will definitely stay her again if the chance arises!

Enchanting

We had such a great time staying here. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed (and more). We loved watching the ducks and the turtles in the backyard. The neighborhood was so charming, like something out of a storybook. We are people who keep our house fairly cool and we saw a few reviews saying there was no central A/C but, we had no issues staying cool. The windows were open and the house has several fans to keep it nice and airy. The location is great because it’s close to so many towns where we were able to do a lot of exploring. We loved it!

Pond House

We found ourselves needing to find accommodations quickly in order to travel to a family funeral. We were delighted to find that the Pond House was available. The house was nicely appointed, comfortable and close to all our planned events. We (as well as our grown children and spouses) found it fit all our needs. Would live to come back again!

Quirky tucked away house with amazing deck!

Very fun time staying here with my entire family (my two kids, husband, sister and parents) and everyone had space! Kitchen and living room were smaller but had everything we needed and more! We played games and ate meals all together in the dining room but best of all is the deck. The outdoor space at this house is amazing! My 2 year old got to say hello to the turtles, ducks and fish endless times through the day while my family and I enjoyed beverages on the comfortable patio furniture!

Wonderful home in a great location!

Me and my friends stayed here for an early June bachelorette trip and absolutely loved it! The house was clean, comfortable and well-stocked and you can't beat the neighborhood and pond views and proximity to Salem. The hosts were incredibly helpful on communicating the check in process and had info around the house for anything we could need. 5/5 recommend staying here!

Salem 8 Less 1

The Pond House was unique and homey. Situated on the edge of a pond with a big deck it provided a singular experience. It was early November so we didn't spend long times on the deck, even so the pond is a presence, and can be enjoyed from inside as well. Lots of windows. It's situated in a lovely community, with the ocean only a short walk away. The house itself is 'Harry Potterish' (in a good way) luckily none of us had to sleep under the stairs, (however there is a closet there) nor, did any of the rooms change places. ;) 7 of us stayed comfortably. The appliances are in good shape, with a high end fridge and dishwasher a good BBQ and washer and dryer. We kept the little woodstove going and Henry was quick to respond when we needed kindling. It has baseboard heaters most of which worked most of the time. There were plenty of linens and towels. Henry was an unobtrusive (he lives next door) but responsive host. Pond House is due for a painting and some repairs to things like towel racks and toilet paper holders, perhaps a new set of curtains on the patio doors. However, those things in no way negatively impacted our stay, in fact it levelled out any stress one might experience staying at a pristine, highly decorated place. Pond House is comfy and homey and welcoming, like staying at a beloved family cottage, where many happy times take place. The surrounding area is full of history, interesting architecture and scenery. I would not hesitate to return in fact I hope to.
