A child-friendly house on a hillside above the Provençal town of Cogolin. There is a large shared pool and separate children's pool close to the property. There is also a traditional boules court and outdoor games area. The house has its own private, south-facing terrace with views over the Massif des Maures. The terrace is traditionally planted with rosemary, lemon trees etc. and has a dining alcove, BBQ, reclining chairs, sun awning and parasol. On the north side of the house is an additional small terrace, shaded by trees, with additional bistro table and chairs. There is parking on a private drive in front of the house.
Accommodation:
Downstairs: Open plan living/kitchen/dining area with double doors onto the terrace. WiFi, smart TV. Toilet/Cloakroom.
Upstairs: Bedrooms. 1 double, 1 twin and 1 with bunk beds. (Please note the maximum adult occupancy is 4 plus two children). Bathroom with shower, washbasin, toilet.
The house is within easy walking distance of the town. Sorry no pets and no smoking.

We had a great holiday in Cogolin, the property is well secured, with all amenities needed and in a quiet and very central location. Owners were very responsive, very friendly and helped in anyway they could. We’ll be back.

Wonderful townhouse near Cogolin ce tre

Lovely house in a gated community 10-15 easy walk into town where we went every day for the bakery or groceries or just a coffee or dinner. Cogolin has swveral restaurants and a wonderful market. House was exactly as described, fully equipped, clean and modern. Boules court steps away from the house. Beautiful view of the valley. Owner/property manager was lovely and very responsive. Overall a perfect stay!

Géographiquement intéressant

Bien aménagé, tous les accessoires sont neufs. Le problème est la mitoyenneté. Sur 9 nuits, 5 désagréables car enfants laissés seuls et bruyants ( maison ancienne et mitoyenne ) ensuite couple agréable pour le reste du séjour..

Merci pour votre avis. Comme vous le dites, tout est neuf et la maison est entièrement rénovée pour 2023. Je suis désolé d'apprendre qu'il y avait un problème de voisins bruyants. En 15 ans, nous n'avions jamais eu cette plainte auparavant. Les Mas a des règles sur le bruit et si nous avions été informés de ce problème, j'en aurais parlé aux propriétaires de la maison ou aux gérants des Mas. (Pour clarifier, la maison est attachée à une autre maison d'un côté. De l'autre côté se trouve une zone de jardin commun, comme sur la photo de l'extérieur).

Joli mas très agréable et bien équipé

Très bon séjour de 2 semaines dans ce joli mas avec une très belle vue sur la vallée. Le mas est conforme à l'annonce, la cuisine est bien équipée et fonctionnel (un gros bémol sur le frigo qui est trop petit pour un logement de 3 chambres, trop juste pour ranger les produits frais ou les boissons (lait, eau, soda) il faut choisir et pas de possibilité de faire des courses en avance, il faudrait supprimer le placard du dessus pour installer un frigo plus grand). La literie est confortable. Manque la climatisation dommage... des ventilateurs sont à disposition mais pas aussi efficaces... Il fait très chaud à l'étage la nuit. La terrasse est très agréable, plein sud les parasols permettent de faire de l'ombre. Le soir c'est barbecue sous les étoiles. La propriétaire est très agréable nous avons eu toutes les indications nécessaires. La superbe piscine de la résidence (avec peu de monde) est à 2 pas du mas et un beau terrain de boules. La journée ou le soir la résidence est très calme. En 15 mn à pieds (ou 3mn en voiture) vous êtes dans le centre de Cogolin pratique pour aller au marché ou faire 3 courses (prévoir une montée un peu raide mais idéale pour éliminer les délicieuses tartes tropézienne !). Nous recommandons cette location pour son rapport qualité/prix pour une famille/amis et pour passer d'agréables vacances dans cette région paradisiaque !

Das Haus war wie beschrieben eingerichtet. Alles tip top, nur die Terasse könnte etwas sauberer sein und auch der Grill ist in die Jahre gekommen.

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit grossem allgemeinem Swimmingpool.

Sehr nette Wohnung mit 3 Schlafzimmern. Schöne kleine Terrasse und schöne Umgebung. Man ist schnell im Stadtzentrum (15 min zu Fuss) von Cogolin und an den schönen Stränden (+- 30 min mat dem Auto nach Ramatuelle, plage de l‘escalet..) oder Saint Tropez. Wir waren Anfang September und es war sehr ruhig. Wegen der Hitze muss man die Ventilatoren nutzen, leider keine Klimatisation. Aber Anfang September kühlte es nachts ab.

Absolut freundliche Vermieter und schöne Ferienwohnung in ansprechender Anlage

Individuell gestaltete, geräumige und gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung in einer ausgesprochen schönen Anlage mit zahlreichen unterschiedlichen Ferienhäusern im Charakter eines südfranzösischen Dorfs. Insbesondere die beiden Terrassen war das Highlight. Sehr großer Pool, in dem man wirklich schwimmen kann. Netter Ort mit allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Gut geeignet für einen Urlaub mit zwei jugendlichen Kindern, die ihre Rückzugsräume brauchen. Ausgesprochen angenehm auch die Kommunikation mit den sehr freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Vermietern.

Perfect property, superb location!

A fabulous 2 weeks in this charming house. More than enough space for us and two grown up children and plenty of equipment for cooking. Close to supermarket and only a short drive to stunning beaches. The complex felt very secure and the pool area was clean and the pool itself was lovely. Contact with Kate both before and during the holiday was very good and reassuring! All in all, a great property that we are certain we will return to!

Schöne Ferien Lage mit großem Pool.

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in dem Haus genossen. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet und hat eine große Terrasse mit Grill! Von hier aus hat man mit dem Auto viele Möglichkeiten in der Umgebung von St. Tropez etwas zu unternehmen.

Perfekte Unterkunft für Familienurlaub an Cote d'Azur

Ferienhaus mit grosser Terrasse, das für unsere fünfköpfige Familie allen Bedürfnissen entsprach. Sicher und ruhig. Gut ausgestattete Küche mit zwei (!) Kühlschränken, ein Weber Grill auf der Terrasse und gemütliches Sitzen aussen und innen. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind inklusive, Betten waren bezogen, Wohnung sehr sauber. Da es keine Klimaanlage gibt, muss man nachts mit Ventilatoren kühlen. Der Pool um die Ecke ist riesig, es gibt auch ein Kinderbecken. Die Altstadt von Cogolin erreicht man gut zu Fuss, das wunderbare Restaurant Chez nous auf dem alten Kirchplatz ist sehr zu empfehlen. Zum Einkaufen waren wir immer im riesigen Supermarkt L.Eclerc, wo es wirklich ALLES gibt. In der herrlichen Stadt Grimaud ist man in zehn, am Strand von Port Grimaud in 15 Minuten, an den Strände von Pampelonne oder Escalet in 30 Minuten mit dem Auto. Also ideale Ausgangslage. Kate war in unserem Kontakt per Mail immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen und überlegen nächstes Jahr wiederzukommen.

Perfect Stay

Very well located, convenient for many places of interest to visit - in fact, we didn't have enough time to get to everywhere that we wanted to see so will probably return at some point in the not too distant future. The complex is gated and secure with a wonderful swimming pool and outdoor play areas. The house itself is in a good position with great views and has all the facilities that would be needed, including a full kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine. Games and books are also provided along with lots of crockery, cutlery and utensils. Plenty of space for a family to play and relax. The owners Kate and Dominic were extremely helpful, answered all of our questions and gave great tips on how we might spend our time. thank you both for all of your help! All in all, we had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting this property again soon.

Review of Le Mas Cogolin

We have just returned from a most enjoyable holiday at the above property. We were a party of 3 adults and twin boys aged 10yrs. We found the property very clean and tidy on arrival with the beds made up and the linen and towels very fresh. We also made use of the beach towels that belong to the owners,very handy as it meant we didn't have to bother bringing our own, and simpy washed them before we left. From the initial email enquiring about the property, we found the owners to be very helpful, prompt with good information provided about the local area. The property was very comfortable for 3 adults/2children. We found the beds comfortable and although we only used them a couple of times the fans were helpful on the hotter nights as were the mosquito nets at the windows meaning you could always sleep with the windows open. The shower worked well and there was always hot water. It was handy having a downstairs cloakroom too. The kitchen, although very small, was well equipped. The ceramic hob has 2 burners and the oven is small but works well. The outside terrace is lovely and the awnings provide welcome shade in the heat.We spent many evenings enjoying being outside and using the BBQ! The pool is well maintained and never seems busy, even in July/Aug. Cogolin itself is well situated for exploring the local area and is not as touristy as some of the nearby villages, although they are very pleasant for a stroll. We always try to visit Ramatuelle, Grimaud and Gassin although they get very busy in high season. Bormes Les Mimosas is a little further but has similar appeal. We enjoyed the market in Cogolin and had good pizza/service at Pizza Del Sol. Also good was the Creperie near the Spar supermarket and Le Grain De Sel behind the main square. Leclerc Supermarket in Cogolin was good. Tarte Tropezienne best for pastries/bread. Our children loved the boat journey from Port Cogolin to St Tropez, and also enjoyed Crazy Golf on the Le Foux roundabout and the Park Azur fun fair. We like the beach called L'Escalet along from Pampelonne, which is a nice cove and very safe for the children. Also Gigaro near La Croix Valmer. Further along the coast, the beach at Le Rayol and Caveliere(not Cavalaire) are also lovely. We drove from the UK and a car is a must to enjoy the area. The property is not luxurious but represents good value for money. It feels a little dated but has everything you need and we would definitely recommend it!

Schönes Familienferienhaus

Alles perfekt wie beschrieben! Super Ausstattung! Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit! Der Pool ist genial und meist waren wir die einzigen! Nächste Bäckerei in 10 Minuten zu Fuss. Sehr ruhige Lage.

We live near Cambridge in the UK but have a long connection with Cogolin and the Bay of St Tropez. More than 45 years ago, our family bought a caravan on one of the local campsites. We traded this in for a house on Les Mas de Cogolin over 25 years ago and then were lucky enough to upsize to our current, much-loved house as our family grew. So far, three generations of our family have enjoyed this beautiful part of the world, whether we're reading by the pool, cycling in the hills or painting the house...

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We have owned this three-bedroom house for 16 years. Les Mas de Cogolin is a very pretty, friendly and secure estate, and apparently boasts the biggest private pool in the town. It's obvious why we love the Bay of St Tropez with so many beautiful beaches to chose from. With keen cyclists in our family, we also love the climbs up into the Massif des Maures which we can see from our terrace. And of course when we're feeling less energetic, there are the vineyards, restaurants and bars!
