Rita is a wonderful host. She met us at a nearby location and drove us to the apartment. She showed us all the amenities, which are excellent. The place is really a separate house surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The view from the front deck is lovely and it location very serene. We loved the place.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was in a very quiet, out of the way picturesque place. Our host was great - had everything we needed and very helpful and great communication. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

The host was great! She welcomed us with wine and pastries and even drove us to the grocery store. The house was roomy and had a beautiful vista to enjoy. It is extremely remote so you need to plan ahead for meals.

A beautiful Tuscan escape

This place is a treasure! Beautiful views and a lovely clean home with everything we needed. The pool was immaculate and the backyard was the perfect shady spot to relax. Homemade bread, a bottle of vino, and chocolate! Rita made our stay perfetto!!!

Great Tuscan apartment

Spacious house for a family of four with great facilities. A car and it is right in the beautiful Tuscan country side, a short drive from San Gimignano. Rita is a great host and we would love to visit again

What a view

Lovely place for a family of four. Even with hot day(36C), the pool was amazing. No AC but very comfortable with Windows open. The host was very kind.

We enjoyed a truly wonderful holiday. The place is amazing. The house, the surroundings, the pool. Superb! A great spot in a vineyard!

We really enjoyed our stay at this 2-bedroom spot in a vineyard near San Gimignano. Our host, Rita, was lovely and accommodating. She met us to drive to the property, had flowers, a bottle of wine and freshly baked bread for us. The view from the outdoor terrace over the vineyard was lovely, and the hedges and plantings made it very private. A great spot for day trips in the country side!

The owner is great and so helpful through our staying. The house is beautiful. The view of the Tuscan fields is so relaxing. Picturesque Tuscany

The property is absolutely stunning. Beautiful views of the vineyards and farmhouse like stone buildings. It’s a great location between Florence and Sienna and 10 minutes to San Gimignano. The pool is beautiful and much needed after a day of sightseeing in the Italian sun. The place is well equipped with everything you need and very clean. There were quite a few mosquitos so pack some repellant. A great stay and definitely recommend booking!

Excellent property in great location

We were very pleased with this property. It worked perfectly for our week exploring the local area and coming back to the swimming pool was always welcome. The apartment is well designed with a nice finish, particularly in the open plan living room/kitchen. Rita was an excellent host who was clearly invested in ensuring her guests were ok. A couple of areas we thought might be improved: a wardrobe or some sort of storage instead of a desk in the twin bedroom. The shower is on the small side and the shower curtain can be a challenge to keep in the shower tray. The driveway was also a challenge! However, overall we really liked the property and would return.

Tuscan Treasure

Everything you need for a quiet, comfortable, scenic stay in the Tuscan countryside. Nestled among grape vines and olive trees, Rita's home is the perfect place from which to launch day trips to San Gimignano, Siena and Florence, or just for relaxing. Comfortable beds, nice patio and porch with a great view of San Gimingano on a hill to the west. She has a well-equipped kitchen and if you need a supermarket, it is only 10 minutes down the road in Poggibonsi. We also enjoyed a hands-on cooking class by Bina, a Cesarine in nearby Gambassi Terme, another charming Tuscan village with very little crowd pressure. Thanks, Rita, for a wonderful stay.

Tuscany Getaway

This property is more special than the description. Rita is an amazing host. She met us at a local grocery store and we followed her to the property. She gave us a thorough overview of the home, wineries, restaurants, & hilltop towns. And even left us a delicious loaf of homemade bread. The property itself has a warm welcoming feel with beautiful garden areas to relax in the front overlooking vineyards or the back for a more secluded feel. We loved our time there so much that we decided to spend a whole day lounging at the beautiful pool. It was perfection!

Great stay! Fun and relaxing

We had a great time at La Roccaia. Upon arrival Rita welcomed us with a lovely home made bread and tasteful biological red wine together with a list of suggestions and tips on where to go both to visit and of course EAT! The complex has an amazing swimming pool for the days you feel lazy and would like to just relax under the sun in the middle of the Tuscany hills. We took a lot advantage of that and had as well a very relaxing day. Overall we had an amazing time and honest to say that at the end of our staying we wished to have book for longer ahah. Rita has been a great host and the apartment was beautiful offering everything we needed... From utilities us to a strategic location to go around and get groceries Highly suggested!!!!

Amazing Property

This place is great. The views and the grounds are to die for. Rita is amazing. She was very responsive to our messages and very helpful! She has everything, in her place, you need. She had a bunch of things for the kids to do too. The second bedroom was great for our 2 girls and our son loved sleeping on the pull out sofa in the living room. I didn’t realize there was no air conditioning and Rita got us more fans for the bedrooms. The mosquitos were very bad though. We couldn’t keep the main doors open because there aren’t any nets on those. There are nets on the bedroom doors. We tried burning the mosquito repellent too. We loved having the washing machine and the pool! The dryer didn’t work and the clothes ended up smelling like smoke from the mosquito repellent. I completely recommend staying here.

We are also sorry about the absence of the clothes dryer (we do have a washing machine, but not a dryer..it wasn't broken) that we do not use due to the hot Mediterranean weather during Summer time. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. L'appartement est bien équipé. Il fait parti d'une copropriété avance plusieurs maisons ou appartements. La piscine est très agréable. Les courses se font facilement et l'emplacement tres pratique pour visiter la région.Le chemin d'accès n'est pas goudronné et il faut mieux avoir une voiture un peu haute.

Séjour début septembre

Rita la propriétaire du logement a mis tout en œuvre pour nous accueillir et nous accompagné durant notre séjour. Le logement est très agréable avec 2 terrasses Dont une avec coin barbecue. Belle vue sur la campagne et les vignes et une magnifique piscine pour se détendre , dans une sublime région !!! N’hésitez pas !

Rita a été très accueillante et soucieuse de la réussite de notre séjour. Beaucoup d'informations précieuses. Des plans (maps) à disposition. Cerise sur le gâteau, elle avait préparer un pain maison et offert une bouteille de vin local. Le logement est conforme aux photos. Die Ferienwohnung liegt traumhaft in der Toskana. Eine tolle Ferienwohnung mit großer Küche. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Rita empfangen und sehr netter Austausch check/ in check/ aus. Unsere Kinder haben den Pool genossen, welcher echt groß war. Es sind Liegen da, wo man entspannen kann. Und Rita hatte Schwimmringe für die Kids. Sehr Kinderfreundlich. Danke für die schöne zeit!
