Me and my family such a relaxing few days away together. The Lodge was exactly as described and in the perfect little spot. We enjoyed walks to the Loch and the forest near by. The Lodge was so cosy and we enjoyed spending time indoors playing games. Just wish we had longer!

Amazing place to stay so quiet and peaceful with the loch right on your doorstep and so many walks for the dog. Will definitely think of booking again.

Great cabin near the water. Fantastic hosts that provided lots of tips on things to do nearby too. Communication was great and cabin larger than the photos might imply which was a nice surprise. Hot tub was great too and very clean.

We were made to feel most welcome by not only our host but the community as a whole! Beautiful surroundings and a very welcoming little village! Would thoroughly recommend this rustic Scottish retreat!

Cabin was lovely, had everything we needed , hot tub had very strong smell of chemicals that put us off using it, we have one and it's never smelled like that, location was lovely and very peaceful but everything was closed for the Tues and Wed while we were there so that was disappointing

A secluded and peaceful stay!

This was a very comfortable cabin, in such a quiet setting - we loved it! The beds were comfortable and all the facilities were clean and well kept. We had a lovely few days here - looking forward to coming back soon!

Brilliant place to stay

Our stay was amazing , the location was ideal and the surroundings are scenic , the condition of cabin was ideal , lovely and clean on arrival , only suggestion would be a path to the fire pit area, may have just been heavy rainfall before arrival but the ground was very marshy and kept getting foot stuck in Ground due to this , overall great place and very friendly hosts and very accommodating, great place highly recommend

Lodge was fantastic just what was needed for a couple of days away. Ideal for a bit of fishing on the Loch. My boys loved the hottub. Overall great stay

We looked at other properties on this site before booking, and I'm so glad we chose this one! Communication with John was excellent from the start, responding to my queries very quickly. The garden area is just amazing and very private. Chosing a lodge with a sheltered hot tub was a wise move, as the rain came down in biblical proportions most days, but this didn't affect us, cosied up in the hot tub with a (plastic) glass of fizz watching the red squirrels playing in the trees beside us! - Oh my! - first sighting for us despite several visits to the highlands previously. The lodge stayed warm and cosy in the evenings with us just using the heated towel rails and the electric radiator. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. It was wonderful waking up to the sounds of the river and the birdsong in the morning. A 4 minute walk through the woods from the lodge bought us to a quiet cove where our pooch enjoyed splashing away on the waters edge. Watching the mist move over the Loch in the early mornings was quite mesmerising and utterly beautiful. We visited the community hub a couple of times for a drink and a game of pool. Friendly locals made us feel welcome and gave tips on where to visit/walk/eat with the dog. Watch out for the midges- Bitey blighters! - we used citronella incense sticks around the hot tub and it did seem to keep them at bay. If you want a peaceful break away from hustle and bustle in beautiful surroundings, this is the place

Amazing hot tub

Great stay, beautiful chalet. We were missing some towels (we only had 2 small towels for 4 people). Hot tub was nicely warm upon arrival which was great.
