Fantastic Venue for Large Groups

Love this place. Second time we stayed in 2 years for our Sibs ski weekend. Definitely booking it again. Place is incredible. So much room for the kids! Host is extremely responsive.

Amaaaaaaazzzzing!

What an amazing property! Our only complaint is that the pictures do not do this house justice. It is beautiful, clean, well appointed and well located. The kids LOVED the bunk bed room. Our entire party could actually fit into that room but the kids did not allow it! The owner was extremely responsive. We will definitely book with this property again.

Amazing property!

We booked for a family ski weekend. The property was incredible. Excellent value for the price. It was spacious, conveniet to Manchester and local ski areas and easily fit our group of 12 with room to spare. Property description was dead on and the decor was great. I would highly recommend this property. Communication with the property manager/owner was always quick and easy. There was nothing we needed that wasn't available. We're hoping to book again next year!

Beautiful place! Best bachelorette weekend!

We had the best bachelorette weekend here! Nothing tops this place! Everyone enjoyed their stay here all weekend! Between the pool, the fire pit, etc. it was absolutely amazing! This place is massive! Jaime was always so prompt in responding to us leading up to the stay. The decor was extraordinary, with a lot of history of the farm lined around the walls. It was so rustic and everything we dreamed of being! Thank you so much for the best weekend and stay! We can’t wait to come back next year!

Better than advertised!

Amazing property, plenty of space inside, and one of the best yards/pool out of any of my past vacations. If anything, the property is nicer in person than in the pictures advertised. The property was fully equipped for kitchen needs, pool floats, and plenty of tables and chairs. 5 minute drive to 'downtown' Manchester is pretty convenient. I would highly recommend this property and will certainly stay there again the next time I am in Manchester.

Unique and lovely

Architecturally unique and so thoughtfully decorated. River Road Farm was also comfortable and supplied with high quality appliances and amenities. The kids loved the bunk room! Plenty of space and in a great location in terms of the property itself plus easy access to Manchester town center. Had a question or two that were promptly answered. We’d love to visit again!

Beautiful Location

This property was absolutely beautiful with the view of mountains in your backyard. The house was spacious and worked for our group. Bathrooms were a bit tricky, main kitchen full bathroom remained wet after use of shower and is located in kitchen. Not always pleasant for the couple using it. Also the property is larger than advertised with a lot of private areas which we couldn't use. Would recommend to families who love the country and enjoy some quiet time away.

Absolutely incredible

I can't express enough how incredible this property is. It was a great setting for a girls weekend to relax, enjoy the incredible pool and amazing house. From the outside you feel like you're in Tuscany and on the inside I felt like I was in this incredible farm house. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Thank you for everything Jaimie!!

Absolutely Stunning

As good as it looks in the pictures, they really do not do this property justice. We couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. It was clean, gorgeous, and a ton of fun. The property manager was super responsive leading up to and during our stay, though we didn’t really have any issues. I really can’t say enough about this location, we will definitely be returning!!

Originally established in the mid-1700’s, this sprawling estate has witnessed centuries of storied history, from its involvement as a stop on the “Underground Railroad” during the Civil War to its transformation into a sustainable farm for wealthy Chicago friends of Robert Todd Lincoln. River Road Farm was one of the early Morgan Horse breeders in Vermont, and later transitioned into a thriving dairy farm in the 20th century. Today, the estate has been renovated, restored, and lovingly preserved as the wedding, event, and lodging venue it is today, offering a unique blend of timeless charm and modern conveniences.
