Amazing Rose Cottage

Vickie is an amazing host with this charming cottage. The two bedroom, one bath cottage is the best appointed rental we have ever stayed in. From the welcome bottle of wine, the stocked coffee bar, cream, strawberries and yogurt in the fridge, to the delicious croissants, she thought of everything to make our stay completely enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here.

Wine tasting trip

We really enjoyed this trip. The property was close to all the vineyards. The cottage was clean and had everything we could want. A bonus was the goodies that Vicki left for us. The gardens were beautiful. Just sorry that we couldn't spend more time there.

Prime Santa Ynez location. Vicky, our host, was incredibly organized and professional. Her cottage is in excellent condition surrounded by a beautiful, peaceful English garden. Very private. Well stocked home and some wonderful unexpected extras.

Home Away From Home

No VRBO experience I’ve ever had compared to Rose Cottage! Easy communication and check in. Delightful treats and amenities that make you feel special. So beautifully appointed for whatever you want to do 
 and a beautiful garden to enjoy each morning and evening when you aren’t out exploring. Thanks for another excellent visit! This was my third and I will surely be back!

We have been renting properties all over this world and Rose Cottage is by far the best so far. Beautiful decorated, very well equipped, very clean and very cosy. We felt at home the moment we entered Rose Cottage. The owners are very kind and helpful in any way. Worth every penny!

A well appointed home in a beautiful setting

Over the past decade or more, we have stayed at many Vrbo‘s. But this is on the one of the best we’ve ever stayed at. It is a lovely, well appointed home in a beautiful garden setting. Vicky is a thoughtful and generous host who responds to any request or suggestion. We will definitely be back and would un hesitatingly recommend it two friends and family.

Perfect Wine Country Cottage

Rose Cottage is perfection, do not hesitate to book your stay. The hosts are so kind and helpful. The special touches and amenities for the guests (fresh baked goods, milk, fresh fruit, snacks, bottled water, perfume) were so helpful! The garden is beautiful, was hard to leave each morning and we could not wait to come back in the evening. The flowers, the hummingbirds, the bunnies
they were such a joy to sit and read and watch. The location of the cottage is so convenient to Santa Ynext, Los Olivos and Solvang. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will definitely be back.

Beautiful Cottage

Rose Cottage is as beautiful and comfortable as advertised. The garden is well maintained and has abundant flowers. The cottage has quality towels and pillows. The kitchen has all the cooking equipment and gadgets needed. Vicky had fruit, milk,cream,eggs,and pastries waiting for us. She is a terrific hostess. Highly recommend!

So many others have reviewed Grace Cottage and made such glowing comments, we can ensure you they are very well deserved! Grace Cottage encapsulates beauty and comfort in a country elegant setting. The owner Vicky is a pure delight in speaking with and she ensures that your stay is enjoyable and trouble free. The location is exceptional for visiting the regions quaint restaurants and wineries and a 30-minute ride brings you to the California coast. We highly recommend Grace Cottage and look forward to revisiting in the future

Before we even arrived we knew Rose Cottage was going to be fabulous based on all the suggestions & driving directions from Vicky! This far exceeded expectations
.absolutely magical! Charming home “cottage”, fully stocked with everything you could need or want. Pastry treats from one of the excellent local bakeries, wine, yogurts & fresh berries. coffees & all accoutrements, every kitchen appliance, serving pieces & utensils you could need, comfy beds, plush towels, beautifully furnished, immaculate, quiet, lots of interesting books, CD’s, all the movie channels you could ask for
.i could keep going! Vicki is clearly a perfectionist and super gracious host! I hope we’re lucky enough to get back when her roses in in bloom .

Lovely Santa Ynez getaway

The Rose Cottage is a beautifully maintained property with easy access to local wineries. Vicky, the property owner, is an exceptionally thoughtful hostess. In addition to providing us with muffins, a scone, fresh squeezed orange juice, and multiple types of coffee for our first morning, she also treated us to fresh local fruit including peaches, apricots and strawberries. The pantry was amply stocked with bottled water, snack bars, and packets of nuts. Before we arrived, Vicky asked us whether we preferred a bottle of local red or white wine and, on arrival, she gave us coupons for discounts on wine tasting at local wineries. Her efforts made us feel like very welcome guests. I can recommend the Rose Cottage with reservation. The only potential issue for guests might be that some might find the beds to be softer than desired.

A Slice of Heaven

My best friend and I spent a magical week at the beautiful Rose Cottage to celebrate our 60th birthdays. From the moment we arrived we were enamored of the adorable cottage and surrounding gardens. It was absolutely the perfect place for the two of us to spend the week. The accommodations are impeccable and Vicky's hospitality is top notch. She greeted us upon arrival and was so gracious and kind. In addition, there were wonderful goodies and wine left for us to enjoy during our stay. Vicky gave us a list of fabulous restaurant and activities to try while there - and they were spot on! From booking to arrival and departure, the communication was on point. Each evening we would return to our cottage and enjoy a platter of goodies and wine on the lovely patio pinching ourselves that we were staying in such a heavenly place. The memories we created on this trip were all the more precious because of our lovely surroundings. I cannot wait to book another trip to Rose Cottage!

Wish there were more STARS to give.

I have used VRBO for many years and have generally been pleased with the rentals. This joyful cottage is, hands down, the best so far. Vicky, our hostess, is driven to make sure her guests have all their needs met and then some. My sister and I felt totally pampered during our stay. I was a little concerned at first because we are two girls and there was only one bathroom. Us women need bathroom time and space with all our hair and makeup routines. It worked out just fine because the bathroom is large and has lots of drawers for storage. Also the two bedrooms had plenty of great mirrors for extra coverage. Thank you Vicky for giving us the perfect setting to have our sister reunion. It was a "10 Star" and "5 Thumbs Up" experience and we will carry this memory until the next time.
