Lovely stay

Laughing water was just as described on VRBO, a fabulous property which is very well equipped. It is in an excellent location, the beach just a few metres away. Rye is a short drive away, a beautiful town with lots of history as well as shopping and eateries.

Ideal house for seaside holiday

The house is in a great position, is extremely well equipped and benefits from beautiful sea views and private access to the beach areas. It's a very clean, spacious house which would suit all ages. We had a lovley four night break there and would highly recommend the property.

Love this property

This is our second stay and we still love it. So peaceful and just a gentle sea breeze on the balconies. Little steps from the garden take you straight to the beach. Feels like a real home.

Perfect short break

This house has so much space and the most incredible views! We spent a lot of our time just sitting in the lounge or on the balcony taking in the amazing views. It was lovely to walk out onto the path in front of the house and walk along the coast a bit. I would recommend The Two Sawyers, a pub about a 5 minute drive away, for excellent food.

Gorgeous setting by the sea.

The location of this lovely property is second to none with a quiet beach at the front, and a nature reserve behind. The owners have provided everything needed for a comfortable stay. We would love to come back! Thank you Lydia for your speedy responses to our questions too.

Great beach side location for relaxing times

Properties directly in front of a beach, without a road in the way, are rare. Spacious property, with fantastic views. Interesting walks inland to Pett Village or along the coastal path. What’s not to like?

Such a lovely house. Large rooms. Great balconies and right on the beach, so has a private set of steps up to it. Everything you need is in the kitchen. Parking for two cars.

Where to start, the location, the house (larger than it looks), the views, owners’ responsiveness were just fantastic. We loved walking straight out of the house onto the beach, the kids didn’t want to leave and we certainly didn’t either. Most definitely returning especially now that we have discovered the deli at The Ship and Sunday lunch at The 2 Sawyers!

Fantastic home from home in a wonderful location

What a lovely place Laughing Water is! Couldn’t fault anything, there was nothing we’d change. The view from this property is exceptional, sun most of the day on the rear balconies facing the sea and just steps from the beach. Comfy beds, plenty of chairs on the balcony’s, modern bathrooms, well kitted out kitchen and lots of little extras like books, games, huge TV, shower gel in bathroom, condiments and breakfast items in kitchen.

A bit of Pett Level magic

We stayed in this comfortable, beautifully situated and well equipped house for Christmas. Great kitchen for a LOT of cooking! Friendly and informative host and if you know where it is, you get used to passers-by having a nose! As it is where I grew up and my family live, we will be back (assuming they will have us)!

Arrived didn't want to Leave

The home...and yes it is a home was absolutely wonderful. My friends and I have had a fabulous stay. The house is equipped with everything you need. You are so close to the sea..what more could you want...Loved chilling on the balconys. Coming from London this was the most relaxing few days we have had in a long time. We were quite sad to leave. If you are reading this review because you are unsure to book....you will not be sorry. I would love to come back sometime. Thank you for making your home/holiday home a most welcoming place to come to. I think you can tell we had a lovely time...
