Maison de ville moderne sur trois étages dans une rue calme près du coeur de St Helier. Deux chambres doubles adaptées à une famille de quatre personnes. Lit king size dans une chambre deux lits simples dans l'autre, trois lits pliants supplémentaires. Peut ne pas convenir aux très jeunes enfants en raison des escaliers. Télévision enregistrable TNT et wifi illimité. Parking pour une voiture dans un seul garage. Animaux acceptés. La chambre principale est attenante à un lavabo et des toilettes. Was not 5 mins to town centre took 20 min to walk to bus station. Not told the property was on 3 floors. Wooden stairs are very slippery and difficult to negotiate especially for those with a physical disability. No information regarding how to use appliances eg cooker ( it was only because the cleaner was at the property and was able to show us how to use it) no info on how to separate waste in respect of recycling. Seems rather overpriced for a May rental. Not impressed with Jersey!!

Amazing and peaceful location

The property was in an excellent location for travelling to the rest of the Island. It was well equipped and very clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend this place to stay.

Great house

Spacious and comfortable house in a central location, ten minutes walk into the centre of town. Nice to have an outside space and having the garage was brilliant. Choice of convenience stores within a couple of minutes walk. Overall a great base for our week in Jersey.

Jersey staycation

Property is a nice size for our family of 4 and in a decent location not far from the town centre. Having a garage is handy, fine for the size or hire car we booked (Ford Fiesta). Rooms all a good size and plenty of light. Photos don’t do the property justice as it is lovely. Large utility room on ground floor very handy for drying wetsuits etc. Only word of caution, the wooden floors are very nice but also quite slippery, so take care if walking in socks or barefoot!

First visit to Jersey

Both My wife and I enjoyed Jersey. The apartment the living room and bed rooms were clean however the ground floor washroom floor was not. The area was quiet but it was a good 15-20 walk to the centre and bus station and the apartment was not near a bus stop. There was no literature or brochures about Jersey which is a first and I have self catered for over 50years. William King

Cat House

Pros - House was large and roomy. Great location. Easy walk into St Helier. Fabulous to have garage available even if we didn’t need it. Cons - cleaning wasn’t great. Lots of cat hair on bedding. Had booked saying two rooms required but only main bedroom had bed made. The real issue was that the house reeked of cat. Had to hold our breath to go in and out of ground floor; got better on the upper floors.

We had a nice stay in Jersey. The house was just perfect for our family. Near everything, the kids were happy , my mum and dad said was lovelly . That made our holidays perfect!

wonderful house in an excellent location

if you want to be able to do everything by foot, this house is for you. it is located in a quiet neighbourhood, 10mn from the St Helier harbor. There are two grocery stores around the corner. It is convenient to have a garage too as parking is really scarce. The house itself is airy and extremely convenient. There is a big space downstairs to leave shoes and bags, with an extra bathroom. The kitchen on the first floor is well appointed and spacious. The living room is huge ! One flight up, the two bedrooms with each an en-suite bathroom are extremely cozy and the beds very comfy. there is lots of storage space too. Kelly did everything to make our stay comfortable, she even bought some groceries and a bottle of wine for our first night ! thanks Kelly ! Beware though that the Condor company has its downsides and frequently cancels the boat : we had our boat canceled one the way in AND on the way out ! it is therefore good to have a plan B in case this happens, as we had to pay the first night even though were were not in the house and were left without lodging the last night. Fortunately, we called a hotel nearby and we were able to snatch the last rooms....

Lovely family to host, very respectful, welcome back any time. I can’t control the weather or the tides and as a result I can’t please everyone, ie the next guests wouldn’t have somewhere to stay if I hosted folk that had checked out and the house had been professional cleaned for the next guests. Jersey Tourism always have accommodation in emergencies

Cette maison est splendide . Elle est située dans une rue calme très poche du centre de Saint Hélier. Elle possède un garage ce qui est bien utile parce que le stationnement est compliqué pour les non-habitués. De plus , de gentilles attentions nous y attendent !

Top Lage, geräumiges, nettes Häuschen

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Großzügiger Wohn- und Essbereich. Die Matratzen im Doppelbett war super.Vom Fernseher waren unsere Kinder (11 und 14 Jahre) begeistert. Wir haben uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine wunderbare Urlaubswoche auf Jersey. Gerne wieder.

Ideal property for St Helier

We enjoyed the space and facilities and the great location. Many good restaurants within walking distance. Also having a garage was a bonus and it certainly challenges ones reversing abilities! There were one or two slight problems. The toilet seat in the en suite is cracked and caused a painful posterior so had to sit on the bowl! Also the drainage in the shower is very slow so was paddling in a couple of inches of water! Waste bins in the bathrooms would be useful and in the kitchen we found a few issues eg. Broken potato masher , colander and broken scissors. A toast rack would be a good addition. However these small criticisms did not spoil a wonderful stay at 6 Columbus street!

Jersey escape

Property was lovely (return visitor from last year) and communication with Kelly was great. House is in a great location easy to walk into town. Having a garage is a big plus, as parking is challenging in St Helier generally. Went for a small car as might be tight in a large car. Would definitely recommend staying here, ticked all the boxes for us and our 2 lads (16 and 13).
