Thank you for the review Henrik, and we hope to see you back again. The top floor as you say has a low ceiling. so adults cannot stand up, but is the largest room in floor area, so great for children.

I think guests reading this review should look at the review before this family arrived, and directly after - 5***. There is a huge difference between a property being run down, and it being renovated very carefully keeping the original features. They are exactly as the photos, and I wonder what did Felipe really expect. We cleaned and took photos at 11:00 am. Felipe arrived at 6pm the same day, saying house was dirty. I immediately went round, and showed the photos we took of everything being very clean (including the bed that did not have any animal fur on it), we even took photos of the inside of the oven, I still have them! I asked Felipe to explain - he could not, except he thought a cat may have got in. I offered a full refund if the family thought the house was substandard and wanted to move (even giving the first night for free). Felipe stayed the entire 8 days, with out any further complaints! This I think this is testimony to my beautiful characteristic old house. We are fully booked, and with repeat customers. For those guests that do not appreciate a renovated 170 year old house, with stone walls, that are indeed dusty, very bumpy walls, and very old wooden original beams and floorboards, and original features such as stone radiators and stone sinks, and even original doors and handles- that we have kept as features then you should not book this endearing house, which is one of the very few houses in the old town centre. Whilst Felipe himself seemed a gentleman, and also his wife, there was another female family member who we found quite rude, thankfully I had very little communication with this lady, especially speaking some Spanish, it came across exceptionally rude, and perhaps she did not know that I understood what was being said. Communication with Felipe was excellent throughout. Whilst I would after some consideration accommodate Felipe and his wife again, as they seemed genuine, one would have to very seriously consider the other party members . Felipe and his family left the house as they found it - clean.

Yes, this year especially it is very very unusually hot, all over Europe, the hottest in 41 years they say, as usually our house being made of stone, is cool enough, with the turbo fans.
