The house was lovely, clean and well equipped. Loved the location, quiet and somewhat isolated yet close enough to town. Lots to do in area, we loved coming back to the house after a day out!

This house on the sea had everything that was needed for the perfect stay in rural Ireland. It was so beautifully decorated. The chairs that looked out over the sea were the best!! It was just perfect.

We spent 3 nights here and could not have asked for better accommodations! Hosts were welcoming and easy to communicate with. The welcome scones and flowers were a lovely touch. Great location to explore the area, with great local pubs, grocery store etc. the property itself is beautiful and well stocked with everything you would need. Absolutely wonderful place! The cottage is immaculate, comfortable, well stocked and with a picture postcard view. We loved every second of our stay and would highly recommend this rental. Claire, the property manager, was just delightful, she could not have been kinder or more helpful. We would definitely stay here again, just a beautiful place and a wonderful stay.

Perfect place for vacation

Lovingly furnished house with great view to the sea. Nice pubs and shopping facilities nearby (10 minutes by car). Very friendly support on site. We have enjoyed the stay very much.

A special place to stay

We had a great week in this wonderful holiday cottage. We could easily have spent the whole week enjoying the view and surroundings but did venture out to see the rest of Donegal. Recommend this cottage tk anyone wanting peace and quiet surrounded by nature.

Absolutley stunning house. Ideal for a family with Pets. We had 4 short days at the house and wish we had more. The morning sunrise on tbe hils and the sunset over the saltpans is something spectacular. The house is perfect in every way for those looking a tranquel getaway.

Cottage by the Sea

We enjoyed our stay at this traditional styled cottage which has all the modern conveniences. It has beautiful views out to the sea. The setting is quiet and peaceful. It provided a central location for touring Donegal county.

The cottage is ideally located - half way between the town of Dungloe and the strand at Maghery. The interior is nicely decorated, spotless and in fine condition and well equipped with everything you might require. The view from the picture window is superb particularly the sunsets over Aranmore. Enjoying breakfast while looking out of the this window was also a bonus. Natasha, Claire and the team were on hand via text message if I needed anything. Returning to the cottage each evening was not just having a roof overnight but was a place for myself and my two dogs to relax and wind down.

Room with a View

From the moment we arrived we knew we had picked the perfect spot. The location, the views, the house…everything was picture perfect. Even on the wet and stormy days we were comfortable and cosy. We had everything we needed, including the gorgeous welcome table of tea, scones and fresh flowers. Online photos and information were all spot on - would highly recommend this property as the perfect base for seeing all Donegal has to offer.

Magical and charming

What a beautiful cottage and stunning location with views that inspire awe! Private, quiet and idyllic completely updated and spotless Irish cottage. Two fireplaces, comfy beds, spacious rooms and lovingly designed and decorated. Eat in or head into Dungloe about a mile away. A fantastic place to explore Donegal. I will most definitely return here.

Wonderful cottage

We just loved the Sea House! It was so cosy & warm & had everything you could need to be comfortable. It was the best place to welcome in the new Year. The decor is beautifully thought out & has a real seaside feel. Claire and Natasha were excellent hosts & I will most certainly return as soon as I can! The Sea House is located in the most beautiful area with stunning scenery, would highly recommend!

Superb in every way

Words would not do justice describing the property, its facilities, comfort throughout, cleanliness, plus fantastic location including the very warm welcome and greeting by our host. Every need was catered for making our Christmas superb in every way. We loved the place and felt so at home during our short stay - so much so we are planning our next stay already !!!

Cozy retreat

We enjoyed our stay so much. The house is so cozy and inviting with a well equipped kitchen. Watching the seals each day just down the hill was a highlight! We were greeted when we arrived by Claire with tea, fresh scones and flowers. On this trip we stayed on a Georgian estate, and a castle but we felt the most comfortable and at home here.

We loved everything. The location is fantastic and quiet. The cottage is delightful. Comfortable bed. Great kitchen. Loved the fireplace and the provided real peat. Loved the scones on arrival and the beautiful flowers. The furnishings were fine. We loved the quirky and interesting decorative choices.

2 months of enjoyment

The cottage is 100% as advertised. It is an old property completely redone with a design of retaining its vintage. The location is semi remote - nice privacy but easy access to town. A long term stay such as mine would be difficult for more than 3 or 4 people.

Wonderful memories from an amazing cottage!

We stayed in this beautiful cottage for close to a month and loved every minute. It was a perfect location to further explore county Donegal in all directions. Great walks and discoveries around beautiful Maghery beach nearby as well. Dungloe was a wonderful town with warm and friendly people and plenty of pubs and shopping to meet our needs. We were blessed with sunny weather for almost the whole time and sounds of birds singing, including a cuckoo bird. Looking out the picture window at the changing tide, view of Arranmore island, and gorgeous sunsets added to the joys of staying at the Sea House. Hope to return!

Relaxing stay in idyllic location.

The Sea House is a beautiful,cosy cottage situated between Dungloe and Maghery . The cottage is tastefully decorated with a nautical theme and is immaculately presented. The large picture window looks out to the sea, the islands, the mountains and outside the higher decking provides spectacular views of the area. The nearby beach at Maghery is a perfect strand for walks and there are longer walks around Maghery where you can take in the magnificent scenery . Dungloe is close for shopping and there is also a River Walk which provides an easy walk through a magical fairyland and along the river. After a day’s exploring,the Sea House is a perfect place to return to and watch the sun setting over Arranmore island .
