'View to The Blue' est un appartement au dernier étage d'une maison de ville victorienne convertie. Il offre l'une des meilleures vues de Kingswear! Asseyez-vous et détendez-vous sur la terrasse du toit et regardez les allées et venues sur la rivière Dart (bateaux amarrant dans la marina en bas, le Paddle Steamer, les ferries à passagers, les bateaux de croisière et même le super yacht). Le train à vapeur passe aussi. Pendant les mois d'été il y a du soleil sur le côté de la terrasse le matin et ensuite il remplit lentement toute la zone et ne disparaît pas derrière Dartmouth jusqu'à 8h45 le soir.

L'appartement dispose d'une charmante petite cuisine avec un plancher de chêne lavé rustique Lyme qui mène à 3 étapes à un hall moquetté qui mène à l'espace principal d'hébergement avec une salle de bain sur le côté. La pièce principale a une ouverture de pignon de verre qui vous donne «la vue au bleu» du sol au plafond. Une porte mène à la terrasse sur le toit avec une balustrade en verre et une main courante en acier inoxydable. Vous avez 4 étages ici avec seulement la marina entre vous et l'eau. Vue sur le bleu est exactement ce qu'il dit. Situé au coeur de Kingswear à seulement 100m de la rivière Dart, le balcon a une vue à 180 degrés sur la rivière et Dartmouth où les pubs, boutiques, restaurants et attractions touristiques peuvent être vus de la terrasse panoramique ou du confort du canapé un jour pluvieux. L'appartement dispose d'un grand canapé et d'un lit king-size avec matelas à mémoire de forme, de draps blancs en coton égyptien et de 2 serviettes de bain et de serviettes de toilette. Pour vous aider à démarrer, nous fournissons également du thé, du café, du sucre, du lait, des rouleaux de papier toilette, du liquide vaisselle, du savon, du sel et du poivre. Si vous réservez quelques jours, il peut même y avoir des bulles dans le réfrigérateur pour compléter les vues incroyables! The view down to the harbour was lovely. We parked in the harbour car park just across the road, reasonably priced at 7.20 per day.

Delightful location in Kingswear.

Delightful stay in the cosy comfortable property. Spotless and well maintained. The espresso machine was a bonus as was the comfy bed & bedding. Modern & bright spectacular views over the river. Sun deck catches the sun all afternoon. Location ideal for the quick trip across to Dartmouth. Booking process really easy and communication with owners much appreciated. Will visit again

Peaceful comfort

If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday, then this is the place! Gorgeous flat, comfortably furnished and beautifully decorated. It has lots of lovely personal touches and is well thought out and well equipped. Amazing views across the marina to Dartmouth and lovely terrace. Sadly the pub and coffee shop were being refurbished and the shop is quite limited, but we enjoyed walking down to the ferry and crossing over to Dartmouth. No shortage of places to shop/eat there. We couldn’t get off street parking, but parked for the week in the Marina car park, right opposite the flat - approx £45 and no hassle - would recommend. Gorgeous flat - wonderful stay.

Before leaving we received very comprehensive instructions We parked in the Marina Carpark a 2 minute walk to the apartment The Apartment was as described and plenty of instruction about how to use any appliance in the apartment Nice views from the deck, the marina does needs to cut back some of the trees in the carpark Local transport is on the doorstep , never used my car the whole week we were there Would highly recommend this accommodation

Home away from home

Views across the marina and river Dart attracted us to this property. The apartment itself is cosy and very comfortable with modern appliances. Cleanliness suberb and nespresso machine a bonus. It is clear that an attention to design and detail has been thoughtfully applied here and we would love to return.

Lovely, lovely property with wonderful view.

Very clean and very thoughtfully furnished and 'kitted' out, even down to paper kitchen towels. It was a pleasure to come back to after a day out. We will certainly be back. The only minor problem was, being elderly. we did find the steps had to be negotiated carefully. Very well located. having the car on the Kingswear side for going off for the day or ferry over to Dartmouth. We can safely recommend it and we will be back.

It was a delightful stay, and we felt at home as soon as we arrived .

The apartment is beautifully presented, and has a a lovely sun deck with spectacular views across the estuary towards Dartmouth. The night time views are just as amazing..

View to The Blue is an excellent apartment to stay in.The location is good,and its very easy to get across to Dartmouth using the ferry.The apartment is well maintained and Matt provided very good local information about the area. We would not hesitate to return and can't wait to spend a few more days in Kingswear.

Lovely cosy apartment with a fab view in a perfect location!

'View to the Blue' is a lovely, cosy and well appointed apartment overlooking the River Dart and Dartmouth. As someone else has already commented, the photos do not do this place justice. We stayed here for ten days in August and had a wonderful time. The location in Kingswear was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. The apartment had everything we needed and the dedicated parking space was a welcome bonus. The bathroom has an excellent shower and while the living area is small it seems much bigger because of the large windows and balcony overlooking the river. You can sit on the balcony or sofa and just watch the ever changing view over the Dart. There's so much going on and watching the steam train coming and going was lovely. There is so much to do and Dartmouth has some wonderful places to eat. The Seahorse, Rockfish and Beth's for breakfast were highlights for us. The Steam Packet pub, a five minute walk from the apartment also serves excellent food with great views. Highly recommened and we would defintely like to stay at 'View to the Blue' again.

Fantastic place to stay in Kingswear

We both absolutely loved our stay at 'View To The Blue'. The property itself was fantastic; spotlessly clean, great amenities, and absolute;l stunning inside & outside. The property has everything you need for a fantastic break in South Devon. The view from the balcony simply cannot be beaten! 10/10 - we would definitively recommend this place! We hope to stay again.

Had a fantastic weekend staying at View to the Blue the property is one of the best places we have stayed. Matthew has thought of everything when setting this place up it has been decorated beautifully & very tastefully. Everything you need is in the property and then there is that view!!! We could have sat on the balcony all weekend just looking across the river there is so much going on & then there is the added bonus of the steam train coming in & out of the station right in front of you. Kingswear is a lovely village & the people are really friendly then get the passenger ferry across to Dartmouth for more shops, pubs, restaurants just a great experience. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a break away & we will definitely be back.

Very comfortable apartment with amazing views!!

A thoroughly enjoyable experience!! Based on the owners' instructions the apartment was easy to find. It is very well appointed and tastefully decorated and is an ideal base for a couple when visiting this part of Devon. Undoubtedly it's best feature is the wonderful view over the estuary and with good weather the use of the balcony which given its shape has a south/south westerly aspect. We would have no hesitation in booking this accommodation again when travelling to this area.

We stayed for 4 nights. The property was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Lovely views of the river dart, very quaint little village but near to Dartmouth by ferry and within easy reach of brixham, Paignton, Torquay and Plymouth. Will be back!

Wonderful little place to stay. Loved being in Kingswear and getting the ferry across to Dartmouth with some great places to eat and shop! Nice Pizzas at the local pub, friendly people where ever we went. Bonus of seeing the Stram Train daily. Apartment nice and bright, clean every amenity you could want with a view to top everything. Will be back for sure.

View to the blue was excellent accommodation for two people and we spent a wonderful New Year in Kingswear .Matthew was extremely helpful and we had an amazing meal at the seahorse in Dartmouth on New Years Eve Would recommend and visit again Suzie
