Great villa in a remote location.Very clean, very quiet.Beautiful pool. Cold in Octobre, 18degC max.Alberto is very responsive and welcomed us with lots of good info.15 minutes by car from Smeralda coast with beautiful beaches.5 minutes by car from San Pantaleo, nice village with a few restaurants. Village is a bit fashionable.30 minutes by car from Capo d'Orso.20 minutes by car from a very nice hike, Monte Zippy, a little bit challenging but with fantastic views.

Lovely location and excellent villa to suit the needs of our family of 5. (All 18+) Alberto’s recommendation where all great and he was very responsive to any queries we raised. Only problem was the WiFi access in the bungalow which kept dropping out. Thank you for your hospitality

Beautiful villa surrounded by nature

This gorgeous villa is ideal for family stays. It has four spacious bedrooms complete with en suite bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and living room with a terrace overlooking a stunning view. We particularly appreciated the Gallurese stones adorning the garden and the facade. The nearby village, San Pantaleo is perfect for summery nights out. Even though it’s located in the country side, it’s just a short drive from most of the popular beaches in the area.

We loved the Villa, very clean, our host was on hand very quickly if required and always happy to offer advice on places to visit and what to do. We hadn’t realised the air con was an added extra which was the only downside. Pool was amazing and the kitchen and entertaining areas were adequate for the ten of us. Loads of space and plenty of bedrooms. I would recommend as a holiday destination.

Amazing time in Sardegna

We had a fantastic time in this beautiful house. It happens rarely that the description of an object fits 100 % with the reality. Here it was the case! Everything was perfect including the were nice and helpful people maintaining the house. Alberto, the responsible on side, was extremely well organized and supported us whenever it was needed. We can absolutely recommend this house! Go and enjoy!

Gorgeous villa in great location

This is a really lovely villa in a fantastic rural location with magnificent views. Beaches and other sites of interest are within a short car ride away. We were six adults and enjoyed the spaciousness of the villa and the substantial pool. What made this villa particularly special was the attention we were given by Alberto, the property manager. He went out of his way to provide us with all sorts of useful information from beaches to restaurants to the best places to buy fish. We had a couple of rainy days and he immediately sent us details of alternative rainy day activities. We really appreciated this! We all loved the villa and are looking forward to coming back in the future.

Beautiful house in the heartland of the Costa Smeralda

We spent a week in this very nice house in October 2023. The house is very clean, well furnished and both the owner and the property manager are very friendly and extremely uncomplicated. The house is situated in a very private area, the pool is huge and clean, the grounds are well kept and there are many shaded but also sunny spots. Unfortunately no sea view, but it is only a few minutes by car to the Costa Smeralda with beautiful beaches. The only drawback: below the house there was a storage area - not visible - where a forklift truck drove during the day and beeped very annoyingly when reversing. We would book again at any time!

Wonderful place

We (a big family group from grandparents to small children) greatly enjoyed our stay. The location is wonderful - the view of the mountains from the big, open- air dining table is stunning and we witnessed many magical sunsets from the terrace. We loved the pool and the privacy of the space, while being close to the pretty town of San Pantaleo and many beaches. Alberto, the caretaker (same name as the owner), is super responsive and helpful. One word of caution: our rental encompassed the entire compound. It appears the owners are planning some changes and may, in future, rent the main level and the lower level separately. This would affect the privacy of the space and may be something to be aware of.

Fantastic Villa with lots of space, great views and really good sized pool.

Our family of 10 had a great time. The villa is very spacious, and has wonderful views from the dining area and the pool which is a really good size and great for kids. The house is split over 2 levels with 3 bedrooms to the main house 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms downstairs where the gym is and a separate double bedroom which provided a nice annex for one of our guests. Sardinia is absolutely beautiful, great beaches and food. Would definitely recommend renting a boat from Palau to explore the islands to the north which have some amazing secluded beaches only reachable by boat, In August the beaches are busy so either go with the crowd at smaller beaches or choose some of the larger beaches which may not have the attractive coves but still offer crystal clear waters. San Pantaleo is a lovely little town with good restaurants and cafes. Alberto was really helpful on check in/out and also with anything we needed during our stay. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend the villa as an ideal base to explore Costa Smerelda and return to enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

Sardinia paradise turned problematic with little resolution

On arrival the home clearly had not had been checked or opened for guests. We were told a strict 4pm check in and you would expect a home that’s been atleast checked to see if things are in working order. The villa when we walked in was hot, humid, and had an order of not being cleaned recently. The refrigerator in the kitchen and airconditioning was malfunctioning. The air was non existent and the temperature of the kitchen was 100 degrees. We immediately contacted the manager and the Vrbo contact as to our issues. They were quick to respond however the said person to come and check it out never came out. My father in law was required to carry a refrigerator from the basement to the upstairs to remedy the issue of the fridge. They brought a fan the next day which blew around the hot air from the kitchen. The bathroom toilet water would run constantly and looked like it would overflow. Overall the hole cleanliness lacked and would recommend an exterminator for the ants. The washer machine took hours to work if it worked and the sheets/towels were questionable. Would not stay again.

Dear guest, I am sorry that the vacation did not meet up your expectations. Even if I never do, I need to make few things clear: -you found Villa Almira perfectly clean and in order; -we never switch on the air conditioning for our guest. The Villa is cool and usually there is no need, plus we love our planet and we try not to use it; -you were unlucky and you run into it the hottest week during the summer (so far); -we bought you right away a fan for the kitchen waiting the assistance to come to fix the air conditioning (it is fixed); -the 2 fridges are and were fixed and functioning during your stay; -your father in law decided to carry the fridge. We would have done it but you were in a hurry; -all the bathrooms (6) are perfectly functioning. We care a lot about water waisting because it comes from our own well (I wrote before your arrival about it); -you never told us about ants, we could have done something about it without exterminating them (there are natural ways of not having them without killing them all); -pity that you did not appreciate that you had a towel for the house, one for the pool and one to use in for the sea; -the washing machine has a 30 minutes program that would have saved your time, water and electricity. We are always available to make our guestd stay a lifetime memory, pity you did not let us. Best regards, Alberto

Très belle villa dans l'arrière-pays

Nous avons passé une semaine de vacances très agréable dans la belle villa d'Alberto avec nos amis et nos enfants. Le cadre dans la campagne est magnifique, la piscine très grande, la maison vraiment spacieuse et très bien équipée (notamment la cuisine), la climatisation fonctionne très bien. De très belles plages à 10 minutes en voiture, le superbe village de San Pantaleo à 5 minutes. Attention toutefois, la villa comporte un autre appartement et vous devrez peut-être partager le jardin et la piscine avec un autre groupe. Pour nous, cela s'est plutôt bien passé, hormis la première nuit où ils ont été un peu bruyants, nous ne les avons quasiment pas entendus ni croisés sur le reste du séjour !

Villa très agréable, bien équipée. Chaque chambre dispose de sa propre salle de bains/wc ce qui est très appréciable. Les deux chambres au sous-sol sont quand même beaucoup moins agréables que les 4 autres au rdc. Piscine très bien entretenue comme le reste de la maison.

Great house and nice location

Tout dans cette location a contribué à un excellent séjour en Sardaigne. - Maison très bien placée : au calme, coucher de soleil sur les montagnes depuis la terrasse, restaurants et supérettes à moins de 10 minutes de voiture. - Grande maison, très bien équipée (cuisine et confort), chaque chambre à sa SDE, disposition des chambres permettant à des amis ou autre famille d'avoir leur autonomie. Conforme aux photos et description. - Piscine très agréable, assez grande pour vraiment nager, entourée de verdure et d'une terrasse permettant de choisir ombre ou soleil. Et agréable surprise : accueil d'Alberto en français ! :-) Grazie mille !

Costa Smeralda

La propriété est dans un environnement calme. L’accès Porto Cervo, Palau, ou la plage de La Celvia très facile d’accès. Le restaurant L’m à 3 minutes pour les plats à emporter c’est parfait. La voiture est indispensable. Je recommande.
