Charming, comfortable place in a great location. Loved the firepit, totem pole, pool, outdoor patio, grill and well-equipped kitchen. Would go back again.

An incredible home in a stunning location. The house has great personality, and is located a stone's toss from Lake Michigan. The owners were very easy to work with, and we hope to stay in the property again in the coming years.

Relaxing getaway!

The accommodations were nice and very convenient for a group of 7! Our young kids loved having a pool at the disposal when they couldn’t go to the lake. Cool breeze from the lake reminded us of camping.

Twin Pines Lake House

We loved the house, the porch, the backyard, and the short walk to the private little beach. Sitting in the sun porch first thing in the morning, coffee in hand, the melody of crashing waves and birdsongs coming through the screened windows was a perfect way to start the day!

Nice family vacation home

Nice, clean home. Great amenities. Lots to do nearby. Short walk to a small beach. Enjoyed a fire every night. Pool was cleaned and well maintained, but no cover or heat made it nearly unusable despite it being the end of June.

Great House/Beautiful Area

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is beautiful and was very clean. The beach is just a few steps out the front door, though it's very small (I think the water level was high this year, so maybe this changes). But, we had the whole things to ourselves when we went down to the beach and enjoyed a lot of pool time. It's a quick drive to Sheboygan, Port Washington, and Cedarburg, all of which have fun things to do. We loved the decor and particularly enjoyed looking through a book of what the owners did to renovate the house. Brian, the host, was super responsive. Thanks for the great stay!

Unique Oostburg House Near Lake Michigan

>Fantastic house. Extremely beautiful and distinctive. And quiet. In a lovely, friendly neighborhood. And very close to Lake Michigan. >Great kitchen and spacious, tastefully appointed rooms. The den is especially comfortable and fun. >Spacious back yard, large patio for outdoor dining or just sitting around, and a superb fire-pit, all surrounded by gorgeous trees filled with birds, not to mention a wonderful swimming pool. >Owners are unusually responsive, caring, and considerate. >We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The Absolute Best!

We have been renting lake houses in Wisconsin nearly every summer for the past 20 years. This is the most well appointed home we’ve ever stayed in! Literally could have left half the stuff we packed at home. Love the house, love the location, owners are super responsive (sorry my family accidentally stole your beach towels - they are currently in transit back
.oops!). Not a fan of the mosquitos, but they always tend to munch on me more than anyone else and the great fire pit outside is so nice and keeps the critters away. Fun pool in the back yard, fabulous beach area that is just steps away from the house. We will definitely be back!!!

Wonderful vacation spot

Highly recommend for a very relaxing vacation. Place was very clean and well cared for. Hosts were extremely responsive and helpful and the location is close enough to sheboygan that you could get delivery/shop at restaurants and stores. You could tell that they put a lot of thought and hard work into making the place as comfortable as possible - from the multiple umbrellas to provide shade, comfortable chairs and fire pit outside so you could enjoy being outside, to the 'movie room' inside. Our two boys (10 and 14) had a wonderful time in the heated pool - it was the highlight of the trip . While it did get hot in the middle of the summer, the hosts have many fans in each room to help cool the place down. Bring bug spray for the beach - we encountered many biting flies. Overall, it was a great place for a very needed family vacation.

Overall very nice

It is a nice property for a close knit group. the outdoor seating areas were comfortable. The beach, though close, was unexpectedly small. We spent most of our time in Sheboygan and wish we were closer to be able to walk around town.

Wonderful home right on the water

This property was perfect for our family of 5! Right on the water, safe and private community and only a few minutes away from Koehler state park and other fun activities! House was so cute and open..stocked with lots of things we didn’t think we would need! It was perfection! We hope to stay again in the future

Wonderful vacation with kids

Great well-maintained property and great host. Heated pool and spacious backyard. We had a wonderful time with our kids - playing different games outside, sitting by the fire and swimming in the pool. The house inside is very taken care of and you can totally feel nice aura, love and wonderful memories created here. The neighbourhood is quiet and secluded. You are by the lake and in the woods - exactly what we were looking for. The beach area available (1 min walk from the house) is very small but still it’s a little beach :) But we explored the kohler state park (just minutes away), which has wonderful beaches and hiking trails - was super fun and tranquil to explore and enjoy with the kids as well.

PHENOMENAL property

Exceptionally fantastic property and owners. Our entire family loved the property- inside and out!! We will undoubtedly be back. Comfortable beds, updated bathrooms and well stocked kitchen, peaceful and 60 second walk from the lake, pool and fire pit area, etc. Close to many state parks and fun activities.

Peaceful & Fun!

What a great time we had staying at this beautiful lake house! The cottage itself is beautiful, with everything we needed for cooking, enjoying the peaceful outdoors, and spending time together. Just steps away from a small beach, the kids could play in the waves and sand. The home is also within an easy drive to Kohler State Park and Beach, Sheboygan Quarry and Miniature Golf - all hits of the trip. Thank you for opening up your home for rental. The remodel you completed is spectacular. We enjoyed spending time as a family enjoying the area. The fire pit was perfect for the s’mores.
