Maison confortable nichée dans une étendue pittoresque de Clew Bay et Croagh Patrick

Situé à Kilsallagh Lower, à seulement 15 minutes en voiture de Westport (Tidiest Town en Irlande, 2001, 2006, 2008) et à environ 10 minutes de Louisburgh, cette maison de vacances confortable offre intimité, tout le confort et la commodité, et la certitude de vues et de paysages à couper le souffle . Les deux chambres offrent suffisamment d'espace et d'hébergement pour 7 personnes, avec des dispositions pour plus. Il y a une salle de bain complète et une grande salle de bains attenante à la chambre principale. Chaque équipement est inclus: laveuse, sécheuse, micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, cuisinière à gaz et électrique, foyer au gaz, appareils pour cheveux, TV satellite et lecteur DVD. Avec sept hectares, dont une grande partie d'arbres, entourant la maison, vous pouvez profiter de l'intimité de la propriété, ou faire de la randonnée à la campagne ou sur les plages à proximité. Comme la maison surplombe la baie de Clew, les couchers de soleil ici sont tout simplement spectaculaires, surtout les longues nuits d'été où la lumière peut persister indéfiniment. Ard Muire est le cadre idéal pour des vacances irlandaises inoubliables.

Perfect.

Perfect layout if the house. Location was beautiful and close to everything we wanted to see. Host was very very responsive and so helpful. Used the washer dryer often.The baby loved crawling through the house! We loved the big living room. Would stay there again.

Great location!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The location was perfect for our time in Mayo. The house was clean and spacious and the sunsets over Clew Bay were just beautiful! We had a issue with hot water on our first morning and the property manager was easy to contact and the issue resolved. We did find it a challenge for our family not having internet or a telephone at the property.

Lovely, large, very comfortable home.

The home is very comfortable. It is well stocked with linens, towels, dishes, cooking, and kitchen ware. Close to Westport and Louisburgh. We enjoyed our stay very much. We would rent it again!

Slice of paradise

This will be our fourth visit to this little slice of paradise. The views are to die for , the sunrise and sunsets are spectacular, like watching a canvas being painted. The house is inviting, comfortable, peaceful and relaxing. Everything you need and more is within its walls. It’s close to Westport and surrounding area s for you to explore but then again it’s far away from any hustle and bustle if you want to just “ find yourself”. We are always sad to leave but we know we will always return because it’s worked it’s charm on us and is in our blood forever now!

Relaxation in country comfort

Lovely, large, comfortable accommodations in a beautiful country setting. Amazing views. Within easy driving distance of a variety of options for great pub dining, or groceries for home preparation in the large, well-equipped kitchen. There were only two of us on our stay here in this large place and it was a good escape to relaxation. Definitely recommend.

Super Urlaub - Top Lage des Hauses

Das Haus liegt am Fuße des Crogh Patrick. Eine wunderschöne Gegend und das Haus ist ein super Ausgangsort für Unternehmungen. Der Kontakt im Vorfeld mit dem Vermieter war super. Er gab Tipps für Unternehmungen und Pubs in der Gegend, denen wir gern folgten. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet. Man kann sich wohl fühlen. Gerne würden wir wiederkommen.

Kilsallagh cottage.

The location is perfect. 15 mins to Westport, ideally situated for touring and exploring. The house is clean and comfortable but would benefit from painting and trimming of shrubs in garden.

Cozy, rustic, amazing view

We enjoyed our stay at Ard Muire. It worked very well for our family of 5. You need to know before you book it is about 15-20 minutes from Westport. There are little villages very close by, but it is out of town. Also the decor is dated. This is not a problem at all. The furniture is very comfortable, the kitchen is large and fully functional, however if you are looking for fancy and updated it is not. Again this was not a disappointment to us at all. The views are amazing and it is very close to Croagh Patrick. We had a great time here and would definitely stay again.

What a view. What a wonderfully appointed home. Everything needed to be comfortable and enjoy this area of Ireland. Our ten day stay allowed us to seek new adventures every day using the home as a hub for our visits. The view of Clew Bay was fantastic. Our trips to Knock, Cong, the Lost Valley with the history of the evictions, Connemara National Park, Crough Patrick, and even the really obscure places like the Clapper Bridge gave us a sense of this part of Ireland. Given the opportunity, we would gladly return to this property and would highly recommend to anyone seeking to visit Western Ireland.

Wonderful location and everything you would need in a holiday home.

Our first experience of self catering in this particular area. The house sleeps 7, so there was ample room for just my wife and myself. Large kitchen and dining area and very spacious and comfortable sitting area, and all the equipment you could possibly need for looking after yourself. Quite convenient for Westport and other local amenities, and the views over Clew Bay are quite spectacular. Our only 'negative' comment would be to say that the outside of the house and garden could do with some TLC, but in no way did that spoil our enjoyment of the place - we would definitely consider coming back again. This house was built at this location to take advantage of the gorgeous view over Clew Bay from the Kilsallagh property, Centrally located between Westport and Louisburg on R335 overlooking the picturesque Clew Bay in the shadow of Croagh Patrick. A spacious house with all the amenities of home.

We'll defer to the English novelist, William Makepeace Thackeray who visited Westport in 1842, and wrote of the area, 'The most beautiful view I ever saw in the World. It forms an event in one's life to have seen that place so beautiful and so unlike other beauties that I know of. Were such beauties lying on English shores it would be a World's wonder perhaps, if it were on the Mediterranean or Baltic, English travellers would flock to it by hundreds. Why not come and see it in Ireland!'

Add to this that Westport is County Mayo's premier tourist destination, and considered one of the liveliest and most charming towns in the West of Ireland, and the visitor can be assured of the best in scenery, food, entertainment, attractions, craic and fond memories.
