Great condo in a great location

I stayed at the condo for 11 days in May, and it couldn't have been better. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything, and the condo has everything you could want if you don't feel like venturing outside. Melissa was incredibly accommodating and helpful with any and all requests. Highly recommend staying here, will do so again myself at the next opportunity.

Wonderful time! Fabulous condo!

Can't beat Mammoth and June for a quick, fun family getaway. This place was great, centrally located and still had privacy. We fished in the morning, hiked all day, relaxed in the hot tub at night... and slept soundly in the comfy beds. The place was clean with plenty of room for our family of four. The owners are really responsive and helpful. Strongly recommend the Powpad

Comfy, clean and central to town

We spent Thanksgiving week at the Powpad with two families - 3 adults, 5 girls and 2 dogs. The space was comfy with all the amenities plus needed to enjoy our week. The wood stove kept us stoked with warmth and ambience during the cold winter nights. The beds were perfect with all grateful for the wonderful nights sleep. We had a nice storm on the last night with over a foot of snow! The parking lot and side walks were cleared within a couple hours enabling an easy exit to load our car and hit the road! Thank you Melissa for being a wonderful host and being accessible for anything that may have come up! Highly recommended! The Patrick's

The perfect Mammoth Getaway!

If you are looking to explore all that Mammoth has to offer, this condo is the perfect place to be! We were two families traveling with 4 kids total (ranging in age from 8 to 15) and the space was just right for all. This was our first "summer" experience in Mammoth and we enjoyed every moment. As two active families from the Truckee/Tahoe area we were able to thoroughly embrace all the activities we love to do. Hiking, mountain biking, paddle boarding, and even skiing in the summer, were all just moments away. The town is so well equipped for shuttle services or biking to just about everything (even stores, restaurants, bars and coffee shops). This was especially great for our older kids. The condo had all the comforts of home. Extremely clean, comfy and well stocked with everything you need for a great getaway! The climbing wall and the two fat tire bikes were added bonuses! Melissa the owner was so easy and kind to work with from start to beginning, always available and easy to reach. We can't wait to come back and stay again this winter. This was a home run hit for our families. You won't be disappointed!!

Great property! Perfect for our family!

We are a family of 5 with kids ages 8, 7, and 3. This condo was great for us! The boys loved the loft bunkbeds and everyone enjoyed the climbing wall. We had some very snowy days, so the climbing wall always provided some fun diversions. In addition, Melissa, the owner, could not have been more solicitous. She checked in on us multiple times during our visit to see if we needed anything or if the condo was to our liking. In addition, she went above and beyond as we were in town during a major storm and did not have chains for our car. (It's a large 4WD SUV, but still.) Melissa called multiple stores in town trying to find us some chains and even looked into purchasing them for us used through a locals-only website. I was very impressed and appreciative of this extra help that was in no way expected or required. When we are back in Mammoth, we will definitely check back to see if this place is available. I highly recommend it!

Great location, fantastic unit, wonderful service

We stayed over new years weekend. I've never stayed this far from the lifts and was nervous. Best. Decision. Ever. We got in late afternoon. So great not needing keys and having to stop by a property management company. The unit had jazz music on and a welcome gift of beanies. Wonderful. The owner texted me throughout the trip and made sure we had everything needed. The unit was fully stocked (coffee pods !!!) and super clean. There was shuttle service to the lifts. Couldn't ask for anything more. My kids loved the unit--wall climbing, really? Haha. Will definitely stay again

Beautifully decorated. Very comfortable beds. Professional and responsive owners.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There was some concern by those in our party that a pet friendly rental would not be to the same standards as those that don't allow pets. We were impressed with the cleanliness and stylish finishings. This deluxe property was much nicer than many we've stayed in near the village. Super convenient to restaurants and grocery shopping. Our family has been vacationing in mammoth for years so it was a walk down memory lane to be on this side of town! Loved the property! We will be back this winter to ski and hopefully staying at powpad!

Just great...!

From the moment we walked in, we were thrilled with the condo. Beautifully decorated, with a large comfortable sofa and well-equipped kitchen. Views, too! There were 5 of us, and the layout offered privacy. Our 14 years old loved the loft with games. He was most excited about the climbing wall (looks like artwork), which turned out to be very challenging. Great location, too. Can't recommend it highly enough. We'll be back!

Awesome place to stay! Great owners, very clean and comfortable

It was really great to stay there! Melissa is very friendly, the complex is well situated and has a sauna and 2 hot tubs, so it's never crowded. About the condo, it is perfect for a group of 6 to 8, quite spacious, and very clean and nice! You will find everything you need to cook, which, from experience, is rare. About the climbing wall, we did not go to Mammoth to stay inside all day long, so we barely used it. But let's face it, who doesn't want a climbing wall inside the condo? Finally, the beds are really comfortable and the heated blankets are awesome!

Thank you for the nice comments! Glad you enjoyed the condo, hot tubs and sauna. Next time, you can hopefully use the climbing wall more. We also just purchased two fat tire cruisers for the condo, so if you come back you can take those for a spin too!.

À propos de l’hôte

We have been coming to Mammoth since childhood and bringing the boys here since they were toddlers. The mountain is the best place to ski/board and offers fun winter activities from Night of Lights to watching Shawn White hit the half pipe. We fell in love with the breathtaking summers too. The boys love downhill mountain biking and fishing. Mammoth is just 15 minutes from June Lake and 30 minutes from the entrance to Yosemite. Most of all, we love Mammoth because of the wonderful people that live and visit here. After renting for years we decided to find a place to call home away from home.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

After looking at places on the slopes, in the Village or in town, we decided Sierra Park Villas was the perfect spot for us. After a day boarding or mountain biking we did not want to be isolated on the mountain or even two blocks away from town (feels like miles if it is cold or snowing). Here we can walk to our favorite restaurants and pubs. The boys, now being teens, love the freedom to walk to the movies or Rock and Bowl. If we want to go farther, the free shuttle run every 15 minutes and will pick you up right out front of the complex.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The complex is very well taken care of. Hot tubs and pool (summer) are sparkling and walkways and driveways are always cleared; sorry you won’t be able to call work to say you are snowed in.
