4 chambres, 3 salles de bain complÚtes, 2 grands salons avec télévision grand écran et WiFi. L'unité a une terrasse de cuisine complÚte avec barbecue et peut accueillir 10 personnes. La pleine utilisation de toutes les commodités du terrain de camping Ocean Lakes est incluse. Il y a des piscines, des épiceries, un parc aquatique familial et un accÚs facile à la plage. Sur la plage, il y a le SDU Skate Park, ainsi que le volley-ball, le basket-ball, les cÎtés de cheval, le shuffleball et une aire de jeux à portée de main. Everything was a lie

1. The house was occupied when we arrived. 2. The homeowner did not communicate with us.3.Vrbo could not find us suitable housing so they left us out in the heat.4. Vrbo stated we would get reimbursed for another stay.5. Vrbo refused to reimbuse us. End of Story.

Great stay

We love Ocean Lakes. This house was exactly as described. No frills but great for our group with kids. The deck was in a little rougher shape than I would have liked and a table with chairs on the deck would have been great. Just Adirondack chairs. Huge laundry room that was convenient!

The Petty Family Vacation

I had an amazing time with my family! We made many wonderful memories and I am sure we will come again to this property. Just a few complaints such as the ice maker didn’t work, the remotes upstairs didn’t have batteries, and the floors were not as clean as they could have been (a swifter would have been helpful). Everything else was perfect. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Great Experience

Great house, plenty of room and fully stocked with necessities. Only thing keeping me from giving five stars is a grill was limited as part of the amenities and it wasn’t there. Not the end of the world, we bought a cheap charcoal grill to cook in during the week. Other than that, loved our stay.

First family vacation

The property was perfect, the house was clean and worked for us! Previous reviews said there were few pillows, that is false, they have plenty! The only issue we had was resolved within 24 hours and worked out perfectly. Property manager was extremely helpful, and quick to respond. For anyone looking at the pics and reveiws, know that the house is a bit larger than it appears in pics, more room than we anticipated, and there is a dining room table that expands to hold 8 people. The bathrooms are close to the bedrooms, but not on suites, which also worked well for us. Plenty of amenities! Would rent from again!

The house was decent, could use some more entertaining pieces under the house(chairs, table, etc) stairs and deck need refinished they are extremely slippery. The stairs are dangerously slippery and I’m surprised nobody had gotten hurt going down due to the tree sap all over them that makes them very greasy with the dew. Other than that everything was good

Family Beach House

Good beach house for the price! approximately 1 mile from a beach access. It was clean, and it was nice to have two living room spaces (one upstairs and one downstairs). Large kitchen. My family appreciated that there was minimal “decor” because we have small children in our clan who are high energy, and we weren’t worried about them breaking anything! The photo with two separate twin bunk beds is misleading - there is one bunk bed with full/queen beds. The beds themselves are not the most comfortable, and I suggest bringing your own linens because the ones provided are basic at best. However, you do get what you pay for! Hard to beat the price of this rental!

We had a great stay, I do have a few complaints
 the floors in this property were filthy when we arrived, no access to cleaning supplies such as a mop and broom really needs replaced. There were several lights out and property owner said she would send maintenance but they never came, no tv in one bedroom and remotes for all other rooms did not work!! Please replace batteries and place correct remotes in each room!! Other than those few things, our stay was excellent and home is very nice!!

Rent at your own risk

I’ll give the house itself 3.5 or 4 out of 5 stars. Some minor deferred maintenance, but pretty decent overall. Our experience, however, was quite the opposite. When we arrived the AC wasn’t working on the first floor. Called the property manager and they sent out an HVAC tech the next morning to fix it. It lasted about 12 hours & went out again. Called the manager again, waited for the HVAC tech who then advised the unit was beyond repair. We spent the remainder of the week without AC in half the house in 90 degree weather. We received a terse apology from the manager (along the lines of “sorry but it’s not my fault”) after they denied our request for compensation or a partial refund. There was a vague allusion to relocation (no outright offer) but it was the second to last day of our trip, and relo was impractical at best. No offers to install a window AC and we had to PROACTIVELY request they provide fans.We ended up filing a complaint with VRBO and received a refund of their service fee. I won’t even mention the cockroaches or soiled linens. It appears the Host has no understanding of the term “hospitality,” and future guests should have a backup plan in place.

Loved this home

We loved the home and the layout of the house. We have 4 children so having 2 living rooms and 3 bathrooms was great. The property manager is VERY friendly and responds quickly and politely to all messages and questions.

Great time at Ocean Lakes

We had a wonderful week, and Shannon was very easy to get ahold of and helpful. We had a little issue with the Wifi, which she did her best to get fixed - and refunded us accordingly when it was not able to be fixed in a timely manner. The house was as described and was great for us. There were a lot of little things that could be fixed around the house, but other than that it was perfect! Shannon(and the current renters) went above and beyond when we left a laptop in the closet. Thank you again for a great stay!

Great house

House was very clean and spacious. The manager was great and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor decks were perfect for entertaining and the upstairs den and balcony provided a perfect place for the kids to have space to stretch out and relax. Would definitely stay here again.

Great house!!

House was great! TONS of space, minor cleanliness issues however, that’s most places in Ocean Lakes! It’s at the back of Ocean Lakes so a golf cart is a must but perfect location and easy to get in and out. Kitchen was stocked great, big laundry space with leftover supplies if you need extra. Great porch area and space for up to 4 cars and the golf cart!

Not relaxing

Well this was not a great experience. Our stay started off with a broken garage (which was the access to the house key). One of us happened to just pull it right open. The house wasn’t cleaned well. The linens are suppose to be washed and beds made by the renters. Which isn’t possible to get everything washed and made back before check out. Talk about a stressful vacation. Not to mention who knows if renters who make the beds actually wash the sheets. None of the linens match. They were just folded up in piles of the pieces for us to figure out. Another un-relaxing way to start a vacation. The kitchen was just as disorganized. The kitchen and bathroom drawers and cabinets were dirty with crumbs and random screws. I found a used contact on the floor of one of the bedrooms. The outdoor shower wasn’t maintained and filled with fall leaves. The house had several other issues due to lack of maintenance. I won’t rent the house again.

4th of July Vacation

We had a great time this past week. The house was great and enough room for two families (7 people). The homeowner let me know ahead of time of a couple of things to look out for. I really appreciated that. Would deff stay here again. Thank you for a memorable family vacation!!

Ocean Lakes Spring Break

This property has potential. Things that need attention: -AC not working -Grille needs new burners and burner covers. I donated 3 burner covers of 5. -Unit needs a thorough deep cleaning (return vents, behind toilets, ect...) -Blinds are needing replaced (Damaged) -Storm door on upper floor will not open. Latch issue (fire hazard) -Cleaners did not clean the bathrooms (Hairs in shower) also floor sticky at garbage can area. -Toilet brushes are laying on the shelves under the sink. This is a storage area (Gross) -Pans are needing replaced. I had to buy a skillet. -Ice maker is under the sink instead of in the freezer working? -Mattress pads had hair on them. (Not cleaned) -Other than these negative's, this house has a great layout for a family with lots of teenagers. It also has updated appliances, granite counter tops, and updated flooring. It could stand some updated decorating.
