Beau loft de charme dans le centre de Gand - parking gratuit!

Loft récemment rénové dans une maison historique très proche du centre historique de Gand, à 5 minutes à pied de Vrijdagsmarkt, de nombreux restaurants, boutiques et bars à proximité. Quartier calme avec des musées, des sites touristiques, de jolies boutiques et des bars. Élégant, chaleureux et confortable. Beaucoup de lumière naturelle. Entièrement équipé (chauffage, cuisine bien équipée, laveuse / sécheuse). 4 chambres à coucher, 2 salles de bain et 3 toilettes. Parking sur place pour deux voitures de taille moyenne inclus dans le prix.

Grand séjour (82m2) avec cuisine ouverte entièrement équipée (réfrigérateur, congélateur, cuisinière électrique, four micro-ondes, four, lave-vaisselle, vaisselle, couverts, verres ...). Télévision, lecteur CD, radio.
Salle de bain spacieuse avec douche et baignoire.
Deux chambres peuvent être fermées par une porte. Les troisième et quatrième chambres sont situées sur une mezzanine séparée et sont équipées de rideaux offrant une intimité totale. Trois chambres ont des sommiers à ressorts que nous pouvons transformer en lits doubles ou en lits simples, selon vos souhaits. La quatrième chambre a 3 lits simples. Toutes les chambres peuvent être assombries. Serviettes, couettes, oreillers et draps pour les lits sont fournis. Il y a aussi un sèche-cheveux, machine à laver, sèche-linge, fer et planche à repasser à notre place. Lit bébé, chaise haute et jouets sont disponibles. Ne laissez pas les enfants jouer sans surveillance dans la maison à cause des escaliers ouverts.

We stayed for 6 days, the house is very good , the living room big e very nice , the rooms are very good ( 2 of them are smaller with curtains, but works well ) the other two are bigger . The bathrooms are cozy and the showers goodThe house has a special location, near the historical center and 15 minutes far from the train station so we could visit Bruges, Antwerp and Lille easily We were 4 couples ( family) and the house worked perfectly for us

Great apartment for our extended family.

Our extended family of 7 including our infant grandson had a great stay. The apartment was well within easy walking distance of Gent’s historic center. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay in Ghent! House had plenty of space, big bedrooms, and a nicely stocked kitchen. It’s located in a great area and an easy walk to good coffee and tons of restaurants. The garage was a bonus!

We came to Gent for a conference and a visit with friends. The property was perfect for our group of 7 adults and children. Centrally located, spacious, and modern - both the adults and the kids thought it was a cool place. The owner responded quickly to any inquiry and was very gracious. Highly recommend!!

Brilliant place

Len was a fantastic host, he was really helpful. It was the perfect place to stay, tonnes of room for us and bikes on a trip to watch the Tour of Flanders. Great location too with only a 5-10 min walk to some great bars and restaurants. Thanks Len 👍

Spacious loft apartment

Superb apartment about 10 minute amble along the river into main area of Ghent. Owner very welcoming, great explanation of amenities, places to eat etc. Lovely and clean, beer, wine and chocolates left for us also tea and coffee. Lovely bakery just round the corner and a Lidl not far away for those self catering but we ate out mostly, great choice of eateries.

Holiday Fun

Lovely property with parking was perfect. Just 3 in our group so plenty of space to spread out and recharge after sightseeing and enjoying the holiday festivities. Safe quiet neighborhood, felt private yet relatively close to all the activities and attractions. The only negative for us were the scratchy towels and toiletries offered. Nice place to stay for people who enjoy walking and exploring, I would definitely recommend.

Lovely loft!

We thought the apartment was lovely..cool, comfortable and spacious. It’s in a great location, a quiet area but near good places to eat and an easy walk to the centre. Host was easy to contact and prompt to reply. Only problem was the sofa cushions were a bit dusty, some of us a bit allergic… other than that, fabulous!

Enjoy all aspects of Gent

Beautiful designed loft within walking distance to the historic City Center of Gent. Spacious facility for group of 6 people. The only area to improve: kitchen equipment (ovens and glasses) and upper bedroom were not cleaned.

Charming home close to town

Spacious home with lots of character. Unique design. It was about an easy 7 minute walk to the central area of Gent and there were a couple of nice neighborhood restaurants and a small market even closer. We were able to drop our bags off earlier which was nice. Large windows and skylights let in lots of light, The more modern exterior of the building did not reflect the charm of the interior. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Light and airy loft for a group

The loft was perfect for the four of us. Location is a short walk to the center of Ghent. Across the canal was a hidden gem--Industrie Museum. And a lovely Italian restaurant. The loft was light and airy, the bathrooms modern. The common area has a nice seating area, a huge dining table and an adequate kitchen and a small powder room. Common area is up one flight of stairs, 3 bedrooms and baths a second and the fourth bedroom another flight (in case stairs are a problem). The host was immediately responsive to all of our messages.

Enjoyable experience in a unique property steps from the centre of Ghent.

We enjoyed the location, the size, and the uniqueness of this property and would stay again in a heartbeat. The only minor complaint thay we had was that although the property was tidy and well equipped, it was not quite clean when we arrived. We communicated this upon our dwparture and I'm sure it will be rectified for future guests as the host was very redponse and communicative throughout the rental process. We did not let the minor issues affect our stay at the great property so close to the centre of Ghent. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

The Apartment ist very beautiful. But some Things must by repair..the toilet flush doesnt gone...in the Corners some Things are Not good..need Paint...the kitchen is Not realy Clean..inside dirty by the knifes teribel...you need better knifes.... An the beds are too small....

Dear Petra, Not sure how to interprete this review since you did not communicate any problem to us during your stay. The single beds are 90 x 200 cm, the double beds 180 x 200 cm, which is a normal comfortable size. You booked for 7, and informed us last minute that 1 person would not come. Based on this information we immediately refunded you part of the booking fee, without any discussion. You asked for an early check-in and a late check-out which we happily granted you without charging you any additional fee. Your review is harsh and a little unfair in my (humble) opinion, since we went the extra mile to accomodate all your wishess. All the best! Len

Beautiful and spacious

It's really a great, massive, open space. Very cozy, lots of room. Great showers and such. Very nice to hang out by the fireplace with your friends. There was an unfortunate problem our first night - during heavy rain, some kind of problem flooded the house with a really horrible sewage smell. The property owner responded and apologized immediately, but we had to live with the smell until the next morning when someone arrived to fix the problem, which originated from the garage. Hopefully the remedy means future guests won't have the same experience. Other than that, perfect, and great communication from the host.

Hi Isaac, Glad you enjoyed the cozy open space, the fireplace and the bathrooms. We acknowledge there was a problem in the garage, not caused by the rain but by maintenance works on a tank below ground level in the garage: these took place just before you arrived. The seal of the tank appeared not having been closed hermetically after the works, which indeed caused a smell. You reported the problem in the evening and I’m happy that we were able to fix it already the next morning. I sincerely apologize again for the few hours that you had to live with the inconvenience. Since the fix, neither us, nor any other guests have observed any smell anymore. Therefore we are pretty convinced that the fix was effective. Unique place, lots of steps

Our whole family loved the loft. It was unique. The kitchen was more than fully equipped, although we would have liked instructions on how to use the oven/microwave. In the end, we were very grateful for the toaster. It took a day or so to get used to the steep staircases. This place probably would not be suitable for toddlers or less-mobile adults, but our 8-12-year-old grandkids loved the top floor and had no problem scrambling up the ladder-style steps to the top-floor loft. We had no problem walking to sites all over Ghent. The neighbors on the whole block were friendly and showed us how to use the parking meters on the street. The garage accommodates one medium SUV-style car. We were visited a few times by a small mouse on the kitchen level, but the kids found it entertaining. We recommend this spacious, interesting loft.

We spent a very good time in Gent and everything was perfect. Very good contact with the host. The loft is very well located within the walking distance to the center of the city and very well equipped - you have everything you need.
