Woodside Cottage - une maison qui peut accueillir 6 personnes dans 3 chambres

Une charmante maison individuelle dans un cadre rural à Sandford près de Godshill, offrant un hébergement spacieux et confortable. Shanklin et Ventnor sont facilement accessibles pour une journée en famille sur la plage et Woodside se trouve à proximité de plusieurs sentiers pour les amoureux de la campagne.

Le grand jardin clos avec pelouse, arbustes et arbres est une évasion tranquille après une journée bien remplie. Il y a une terrasse avec mobilier de jardin et barbecue. À l'avant de la propriété est un grand parking dans la rue pour 2-3 voitures.

L'hébergement au rez-de-chaussée comprend une chambre double avec lit bébé, une chambre à deux lits et une salle de bains familiale avec douche dans la baignoire. Le salon confortable, la salle à manger et la véranda donnent sur le jardin et la cuisine bien équipée possède des portes-fenêtres donnant sur le jardin. Il y a une buanderie et un vestiaire séparé.

La suite principale au premier étage comprend une chambre double avec salle d'eau douche et WC. Les clients pourront profiter de belles vues de cette retraite paisible.

Le village populaire de Godshill est très proche et possède de charmants cottages au toit de chaume et une rue principale sinueuse avec une variété de salons de thé, des boutiques de cadeaux proposant des produits artisanaux locaux, un village modèle et une maison publique. Sandford bénéficie d'un emplacement central entre Newport et Shanklin et permet également d'acc��der facilement à Ventnor, ce qui en fait une base idéale pour explorer l'île environnante.

Pour les familles, la station balnéaire de Shanklin est à une courte distance en voiture et offre une variété de boutiques, supermarchés, banques et restaurants. Au sud de la High Street se trouve le pittoresque Old Village au toit de chaume avec ses pubs, ses salons de thé et ses boutiques de souvenirs. Shanklin Chine, une gorge naturelle boisée, et Rylstone Gardens, un parc de détente avec un golf fou et des jardins de thé dans un cadre fleuri se trouvent à proximité du vieux village.

La longue plage de sable sûre est à un niveau inférieur. On peut marcher, utiliser l'ascenseur ou conduire de la ville au front de mer. Les sentiers côtiers permettent de faire des randonnées pittoresques vers Sandown, la ville voisine, ou vers le joli village de Bonchurch, en empruntant les chemins sinueux du glissement de terrain, dans l’autre sens.

L'île a beaucoup d'autres attractions pour les familles avec une variété de plages, pistes cyclables et sentiers, centres de loisirs et terrains de golf. Les lieux de divertissement et de restauration sont variés.

Perfect holiday home

We stayed at woodside cottage in April with my daughter and her partner and 2 children.The house is lovely and so well equipt with everything you could possibly need.The children age 6 and 4 loved the garden which had a playhouse and a slide.Perfect location for visiting the island.

Best cottage we have stayed in.

This cottage has been our holiday home for two years.It is clean, comfortable and has all the equipment you will need. A beautiful garden completes the ideal place to stay in the best part of the island.

Home from home

As always Woodside was wonderful. Home from home and we are always happy to return. Everything you need for a comfortable stay whatever the weather and all very well maintained. Very well located for visiting all parts of the island with the excellent bus service.

Wonderful Woodside

Everything as always in perfect order and lovingly maintained. Not so much staying in a holiday cottage as staying in a family home. Ideally placed for visiting all parts of the island and best part is returning to enjoy the cottage and garden. Thank you for another excellent stay.

Lovely cottage with everything we would need and more

Beautiful cottage and garden, we could relax. The children liked the garden toys, and our youngest loved the tree house. It had everything we needed and more. Also had lots of space. It was close to lots of attractions, all within 10 to 20 mins!

Woodside Cottage

We have stayed at Woodside on four occasion and already booked again . The cottage is in excellent decorative order and very clean and comfortable. It is well sited with no need for a car and lots of good walking from the door. Large garden lovely to sit out in. Exceptional service from Island Holiday Homes.

Everything provided, very clean and cosy, wonderful location. Housekeepers were lovely. Looking forward to our next stay. Lovely family of rabbits at the bottom of the garden. Because the weather was quite cool the conservatory was really warm and welcoming. This is a lovely home.

Wonderful Woodside

Our 7th visit and another excellent stay at this amazing property. Good bus links at the end of the road to all parts of the island. Lots of walking from the door. The cottage as always was very well presented and equipped with everything needed. Even with inclement weather a nice relaxing break in a home from home cottage. Look forward to returning.

We have stayed in Woodside Cottage a few times now and enjoyed each visit. When we have had any questions we have been able to contact Island Holidays who have been extremely pleasant and helpful. The housekeeping staff have been brilliant. There is a lovely spacious garden with a particulary pleasant patio area ideal on a nice sunny day. We have already booked two holidays for next year. Our thanks to the owners who have allowed us to share their home.

Woodside Cottage

Our sixth visit to Woodside and as always everything well equipped and beautifully maintained.Spotlessly cleaned and prepared by Lisa. The cottage is in a very good position with bus links to all parts of the island 2 minutes walk away. There is everything you need to make this a perfect home from home. Thank you to Bob and Carol for sharing your beautiful home. Thanks also to Island Holidays for all their help in arranging the bookings. Will be back soon.

Amazing cottage !!

We have been going to Woodside cottage for the past 5 years, and we love it there, it has everything you need. You dont have any worries when staying here you can get to everywhere you need to go daily perfect cottage in the perfect location. Unfortunately we have a couple of pups now, and due to a very bad experience with one of the kennels on the island we wont be able to come again unless we find a top class kennel to look after them. Our Inlaws will be back though you can count on them !!

A Delightful Stay

Property was extremely well presented and clean, felt very homely in every respect. Kitchen was well appointed with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. Large garden was especially nice for our two young boys (although we spent most days exploring the island). Only slight negatives, one sofa was extremely uncomfortable (sofa bed) and the location is approx. 1 mile outside of Godshill with no pathway on the main road to the village so had to use the car always. Overall a fantastic place to stay, great value and would return again in the future.

Thank you so much for taking the trouble to review your stay at Woodside. We are pleased you all enjoyed the house and garden. Following another recent negative comment about the lounge sofas we are planning to replace both of them before the season begins again next year. Regarding the walk into Godshill, there is a footpath to the village which takes about 25 minutes via lovely pathways crossing the fields (you have to cross the main road once). We had left a map pinned up on the noticeboard which gave the directions, so will get more printed for next season, too. We do hope to welcome you back sometime soon!

We endeavour every year to improve the holiday experience for our guests and have noted your comments about the 2 sofas in the lounge area. We are planning to replace these for next season. With regards to the en-suite shower upstairs, we are aware that this does not suit everyone, but we have no alternative given the slope of the roof. Another wonderful holiday at Woodside cottage

This was our third visit to Woodside cottage and it did not disappoint. The cottage is spacious, comfortable and clean and the garden is a lovely place to spend time when returning from a day out, it has lots of added extras to keep the children amused. This property is very well situated for reaching everywhere on the island easily. Would highly recommend it and will return if we can, next time we visit the Isle of Wight.

Great family location.

A delightful 3 bedroom property

When we saw this property whilst looking through the website it was ideal for what we needed and it looked lovely, on arriving at the property it was even better in the flesh just superb. The cottage is in a lovely position very quiet, there's a pretty village just down the road 5 mins by car with some lovely coffee shops ,pub etc. The bedroom upstairs was just fabulous very nice and loved the bathroom too. We found Woodside Cottage very spacious, very comfortable and with all the amenities you have here including the lovely garden which the grandchildren loved its all you need for a wonderful and delightful stay.
