Notre maison, Glenhaven, est située au bord du lac Barron, à 1 heure de Montréal. Il dispose de 6 chambres, 5 salles de bains, hammam, sauna sec, bain à remous, terrain de beach-volley, cabane dans les arbres 3 saisons avec salon extérieur, table à manger, cheminée et bar. Aire de jeux en cèdre. Barbecue, Repas en plein air. Cuisine gastronomique avec cuisinière à gaz Wolf à 6 brûleurs. Salle de lavage au rez-de-chaussée. Internet et TV satellite. Truly home away from home

Absolutely fabulous completely equipped cozy and comfortable and the host is the most gracious person to deal with. In all an unforgettable getaway. I would highly recommend this property.

Charming lakeside property perfect for family reunion

The location was convenient, the property spotless, and the amenities(spa, sauna, steam room, ginormous kitchen) were second to none. The property managers were friendly and responsive. The whole family (all 13 of them) had a blast! Thank you jennifer and tania!

Fantastic cottage and property

We couldn’t not be happier with our stay! What a beautiful cottage and property on Lac Barron. There was plenty of space for all 10 of us - every bedroom and bathroom was absolutely gorgeous. And the spa! From jumping in the lake to the hot tub, steam room and sauna we truly felt like we were staying at a luxury spa. Thank you to Tania the owner for her communication leading up to our stay. Everything was perfect and blew away our expectations. We will be back for sure!

Simply a wonderful stay !

We stayed at this cottage for one week over new’s year and we had a fantastic time. We are a family of 9 adults and we had 5 kids with us between ages 6 and 3 months. The place was perfect for all and very welcoming for kids with high chair, play pen, games and more. We enjoyed the hot tub and the steam room every day. What a treat. And the outdoors. We skated on the lake every day, we did cross country skiing, took long walks in our snow shoes and played in the snow for hours with the kids. We also skied at Morton heights and St-Sauveur which are only 20 min away. My only wish would be for a few double beds to be converted to queen beds as this would be more convenient for couples but it’s a small detail. We felt welcome and we loved our stay. Hoping to be back. Thank you !

Heavenly cottage

We spent 4 nights at Jennifer’s cottage with two extended families in August 2019. The house and amenities are fantastic! I highly recommend this listing to anyone who is looking for a true getaway close to Montreal.

Everything we wanted

Lots of space, beautiful working kitchen, lots of things to paddle, lake temperature was perfect. Added bonuses included the hot tub, steam room, sauna and the gazebo. A beautiful setting for a family vacation. Property manager was accessible, helpful and friendly. We’d love to come back and would recommend this place without hesitation.

Fabulous retreat on the lake!

We stayed at this amazing lake front property with 3 families (6 adults, 5 teenagers). The house had more than enough room to comfortably accommodate our families. The master suite (second floor) was huge with a king bed and looked like a brand-new addition. It had its own air conditioning unit and a very large ensuite bathroom (bathroom #1). The view is truly breathtaking as it overlooks the lake with its own private balcony. Level 2 also had 4 additional bedrooms. Each room has ceiling fans (no air-conditioning). Going down to the main floor there is bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. This bedroom had access to a full bath which also serves as the only toilet on the main floor, so it has a double door- one opening to bedroom and the other door opening to the main hallway. The kitchen is large and well stocked with pots, pans, coffee maker, two ovens, one dishwasher and a large refrigerator. There is also a second refrigerator in the laundry room on the main floor. The only thing to keep in mind is that the microwave is quite small. Reheating large items will need to be done on the stove or oven. The dining room can easily seat 12 with spectacular lake views. The living room has an open floor plan with a large TV, comfortable sofa, and game table with 6 chairs. On the bottom floor of the house, there is an amazing spa area complete with steam room and sauna. This area has its own toilet. There is also a large yoga room with a rowing machine, yoga mats, and beach towels. Exiting this floor provides easy access to a path to the lake. The lakefront has a sandy bottom swimming area with a large attached dock that proved excellent for fishing. A boat house held a single kayak, double kayak, canoe and 2 paddle boards with many life jackets for safe boating. The beach volleyball area and fire pit provided hours of enjoyment for teens and adults alike. The screened in “tree house” easily seats 12 and is a delightful place -rain or shine- to enjoy lake views in comfort. The fireplace in the tree house provided a cozy place for families to gather in cool evenings. Our families loved our stay at this magnificent home and would return again in a heartbeat.

A 10 star property!

If I could leave 10 stars for this property I would! It is everything you see in the pictures and a lot more. I rented this property for 5 nights as I was getting married in the area and needed a place for family to both stay and to feel free to drop in. I also needed a place to accommodate a lot of different interests - quiet places for older folks, sports areas for active adults and teens, and play areas for children. This place has it ALL and is laid out in such a way that everyone can enjoy their own activities. We spent long nights playing games in the tree house, the children loved the play area, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the 'spa' experience - steam room, to lake, to hot tub. We are cooks and the kitchen was fabulous - quality appliances and everything you could possibly need to cook for and serve large groups. The lake bottom is sandy and there is not a weed in sight. Jennifer also provides numerous 'toys' to play with on the water - I highly recommend a canoe ride under a clear starry night! Jennifer is an excellent hostess. Sometimes it took awhile for her to respond to enquiries as she is very busy but don't give up - she does respond and it's definitely worth the wait. This property is absolutely gorgeous and very high end with many things to enjoy. It is also still very much Jennifer's home and should be respected as such. Those who recognize and appreciate log home type construction will be impressed.

Beautiful cottage right on the lake - great dock and plenty of water toys. Amazing experience.

The photos included in the listing don't do justice to this property. Jennifer (owner) was awesome from the start with great descriptions and quick communication whenever we had a question. The cottage itself is amazing - 6 bedrooms, 3 of which have ensuites, plus a great kitchen with literally everything you need. The kids spent the entire week playing in the water and around the property. The lake was great, water temperature right on the money, the dock easily fit everyone and it was plenty deep to dive in. We can't say enough about this place - would book again in a heartbeat.

We also added a gym/yoga room where you can stretch out or work out. Relax and enjoy in this beautiful log cabin on Lake Barron in the heart of the launtenians.
