This review is totally fallacious. We never had a guest named Jeanette r. stay at our property. One might ask why did Denise V., who did stay at our property on these dates, post a review under the false name jeanette r. and posted a similar review under her real name? If conditions were as bad as she states, why did she wait FIVE DAYS to contact me. I find this especially puzzling, considering that this guest corresponded with me and spoke to me over the phone numerous times over several months prior to her arrival at the property, primarily because she decided to change her reservation from one of the houses on our property to the second house. Had she contacted us at the beginning of her stay, we could have addressed and resolved any issues she had. Instead she waited until she decided to leave and demanded money. Upon check in, our guests make a full inspection of the property accompanied by our resident manager with a check list, for house operations, house rules, supplies and cleanliness. At that time things needing attention, if any, are noted and the guest and manager sign off as to the condition of the premises. There are no deficiencies noted on her signed check list. We provide our confirmed guests with a15 page booklet, well in advance of their arrival and usually when the reservation is confirmed, that provides detailed information about the house, beach, recommended swimming spots, neighborhood, points of interest, shopping, activities, hospitals, directions from major airports, restaurants, house operations and includes coded location maps. Each house has four large roof A/C units capable of cooling most of the house individually. We normally make repairs in 24 hours. Puerto Rico is in a subtropical climate zone. Insects abound even in urban areas like San Juan. Puerto Rico is 135 miles wide east to west and 50 miles deep north to south, covered by four-lane limited access highways. It doesn’t take 4½ hours to get anywhere. There are many restaurants in the neighborhood. Reviews of our listings 821756, 854605 and 854468 and reviews at other popular vacation rental sites are available for public viewing. Before you take this review at face value, we invite you to read some of them. To be sure, we aren’t perfect, but most of our guests have enjoyed staying there as much as we have for these past eleven years.
