Stone Bridge Cabin est une cabane en rondins classique Ă  10 pieds de la cĂ©lĂšbre riviĂšre Pine, dans le comtĂ© de Waushara. ExtĂ©rieur rustique avec un intĂ©rieur rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©. 2 chambres et un canapĂ©-lit peut accueillir confortablement 4 personnes. Ce tronçon de la riviĂšre Pine est connu pour ses Ă©closions prolifiques de caddis et d’hexagenia, avec des truites de 18 pouces et plus gĂ©nĂ©ralement capturĂ©es. Des dizaines d'autres flux de truites productives de Central Sands se trouvent Ă  30 minutes de route. "Taverne nord" traditionnelle situĂ©e de l'autre cĂŽtĂ© de la riviĂšre. Simply open the window to listen to the running river located right beside this unique, updated cabin. Still holding its old fashion charm, but completely updated inside to give you all the comforts of home. The most beautiful scenery and sounds. Absolutely wonderful stay!

The sound of the river right outside the bedroom window was heavenly. We enjoyed our weekend in the cabin. It was quiet and cozy a perfect place for our Anniversary celebration.

Otherworldly!! Wake up and fall asleep to the babble of the river and rustle of the leaves. Rustic, Cozy and Comfy cabin - close to many awesome Wisconsin attractions and conveniences - Chain of lakes, Waupaca, on/off site fishing in Pine River and local lakes. Cozy and sophisticated. Small but spacious. Secluded with a friendly bar just across the bridge for lunch. I love fly fishing, but I was there to just get away from family responsibilities so I could study for an upcoming class. A few mayflies one evening tempted me into wetting a line, but no luck.If you're a cafe-fe fan, try Mt. Morris. It's a pretty drive.

Magical Stay

Mary and Bill were welcoming and answered my questions promptly. Their cabin feels like home. Cozy and filled with the sound of rushing water over the rocks in Pine River! Loved the sound and views of the water. We will be back for another vacation!

Wonderful stay on the river

Four adults stayed in this cute cabin on the Pine River. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable 3 days/3 nights. The beds were comfortable and the furniture is nice. Plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. The sound of the river just outside the cabin is very relaxing. We tied our float tubes to a tree and just relaxed with some beer for a couple of hours in the river, which kept us cool in the 90 degree weather. Ding's Tavern just across the river is a nice place to play pool and have dinner. The cabin had 3 fans, but because of the high heat over the July 4 weekend, we brought 3 fans of our own (no A/C at the cabin), and with all the fans going we were just fine.

Tranquil Getaway in Nature

This is wonderful rustic authentic log cabin that is the perfect escape for a peaceful weekend in nature. The view and soothing sounds of the Pine River are top notch! You can enjoy being in nature whether you’re in or outside of the cabin. The cabin itself is tastefully decorated, the bed was comfy, and it has a homey feel. Bill was a gracious host and was extremely responsive and kind when I had to reach him. There’s also lots to explore in the area including Hartman Creek State Park, Brainards Bridge Park, the Red Mill, and the cute town of Waupaca that has a great Main Street with lots of shopping and restaurants- I loved Little Fat Gretchen’s and Comma. I’m very thankful that Bill and Mary opened their home so that I could have this experience.

Weekend Visit

We were in the area for a wedding. We only stayed 2 nights but wish it could have been longer! We sat at the outdoor table in the morning with our coffee enjoying the fall weather and the river flowing by and watching a few fishermen fly fishing. The cabin itself was very clean, had more than everything we needed, and the beds were great. We slept very well, loving the sound of the river flowing past.

The cabin sits within 8' of the Pine River in an area where there are some gentle rapids that sound especially nice on warm summer nights with all of the windows open! The cabin is conveniently located near Waupaca, Wild Rose and Wautoma, with many options for eating and drinking within minutes. You'll feel like you're much further "up-north" when you're within only 2-hours of Milwaukee and Madison.
