Perfect location if you want to visit the Highlands!Glen Coe in about 15 mins. The place had everything we needed. Here and there a bit outdated and need some rework.

The house had a phenomenal view of the loch and was comfortable with all the necessities. We had a difficult time finding it based on the directions on VRBO, but Catriona responded to our message and sent us a pin. Be sure to stop on the way and pick up supplies such as coffee, sweetener, bath soap etc.The location is great very close to many wonderful hikes and good food.

My friend and I stayed here for a few days. The location was centrally located to visit Glencoe, Fort William and Oban. Like most other places in the Highlands this location is off a major roadway, so be ready for vehicle noise. The view is beautiful from the front window. The village itself was small, so you need to drive to get meals but there is a co-op/ grocery store close by. If you are elderly or mobility challenged this would not be for you as the stairs are very narrow. We left our suitcases downstairs and carried necessities up. There were 2 bathrooms downstairs which was nice. There were no basic startup spices, like salt, pepper, so be prepared when you arrive. But again, when looking for a central location this is a good place. The host was easy to contact and they quickly responded.

This quaint cottage has the most amazing views, is fully equipped, and is literally home from home. It has everything required off road parking, enclosed garden, lovely walks across the road for anyone with a dog. Walking distant bar and restaurant. Definitely a great base for exploring the highlands of Scotland. We would highly recommend!

Stay at Inishail Cottage

We had a very pleasant stay at Inishail Cottage. It has a very quaint and homey feel, and was perfectly situated between Fort William and Glencoe for exploring the area and doing some great hiking. Also magnificent mountain view right out the front window!

Wonderful stay and stunning view!

We had such a wonderful time staying here. It’s the perfect location to explore the highlands. We enjoyed our stay and the home had all the amenities needed along with a stunning loch view.

We enjoyed our stay, especially loving the beautiful views from the front windows! We used the kitchen several times, and made use of the washer and dryer. We were disappointed that the second bathroom (shower) did not work at all while we were there. We had to call to get hand soap for the bathrooms, and found the kitchen clean but minimally stocked and with no extras (no salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc.). The outside and garden looked like they could use a bit of upkeep, but the inside has definitely been updated. There was a nice walking path across from the house.
