Lovely, charming country house

We really enjoyed our stay. It is close to the beach and quiet at the same time. Nice location for day trips in all directions.

Lovely, spacious house in the heart of Cornwall. Alicia is a wonderful host — very friendly and welcoming. She greeted us on arrival and took the time to show us around the property, which we really appreciated. The house has plenty of green outdoor space, which was especially enjoyable in the summer, and the patio area is perfect for a family barbecue. We had a great stay and would definitely book again when visiting Cornwall with a larger group.

What an amazing period property to stay at. The hosts were extremely welcoming and great at responding to any questions we had.The house was clean and ready early for our arrival. There were plenty of things to do in the house, even being able to try your hand at mastering the saxophone. The grounds are vast and have a stunning display of flora and fauna (most of which can only grow in Cornwall's climate). The area is extremely peaceful, even the chickens were quiet, bonus of fresh eggs each morning helps too. Being in walking distance of the village to through the new Saints Trail but far enough out to enjoy the peace and tranqulity.We will be returning at some point, maybe even to move into the area permanently.

Lovely gardens and nice central location

Pictures made the house look more luxurious than it really is. Disappointed with the lack of wardrobe space, only two of the bedrooms had them, and they still had the owners clothes in! One bedroom had storage at all. No welcome pack with details regarding things like nearest supermarket, doctors, recycling etc. Overall a spacious house but not worth the money we paid for the week.

Your views are really important to us. Bay House has been extensively remodelled since your stay and we have taken your feedback to heart. There are now two extra bedrooms, a large kitchen-diner, a self-contained cottage, second reception room, laundry, gym and well-being area, and wardrobes in every bedroom.
