Nous avons une belle maison spacieuse Ă  seulement 7 miles du centre-ville. Il dispose de 5 chambres ainsi que de 3 salles de bains 1/4.
Il se trouve sur 12 magnifiques hectares de terres du comtĂ© avec une piscine en ciment, un foyer, un bain Ă  remous, un porche couvert, une grange avec des poulets et des chats Ă  la ferme pour profiter de l'alimentation ou de la caresser. Il dispose d'un plan d'Ă©tage ouvert, d'une cheminĂ©e, d'une salle de tĂ©lĂ©vision confortable, d'un accĂšs Internet haut dĂ©bit, de grandes fenĂȘtres, d'une cuisine moderne avec toutes les commoditĂ©s que vous attendez. Beaucoup de place Ă  rĂ©partir! Nous restons Ă  la propriĂ©tĂ© dans notre camping-car pour nous occuper de la propriĂ©tĂ© mais nous ne sommes pas sur le chemin. (grande propriĂ©tĂ©) Venez profiter d'un cadre serein tout en Ă©tant Ă  seulement 7 miles de tout ce qui se passe au centre-ville.

Great stay!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this great home for a family gathering and each time it gets better and better with great additions and upgrades! It’s always clean and fully equipped with everything we would need. We love the beautiful grassy yard to play games and the pool and hot tub obviously get used all day! We will definitely be staying again!

Great Getaway for Family and Friends

The outdoor amenities at this house are incredible. We enjoyed the pool and sprawling outdoor space every minute we were here. The home is outfitted with everything you could need and plenty of space for everyone.

Perfect for relaxing on a busy trip!

Nine of us came to Spokane for the 2024 Gonzaga graduation. This beautiful property was the perfect place for us to all be together. While it was a beautiful sunny, warm weekend, the pool was cool and refreshing for a few of the kids - who enjoyed the hot tub immediately after their dip in the pool. The house was comfortable and filled with anything you might need! We thoroughly enjoyed the horses romping in the pasture and fresh eggs provided by the resident chickens.

Great family getaway

We loved our time at Mike and Coleen’s place. They were attentive and responsive and everything was in great condition ready for us when we arrived. This is our second year staying here and they’ve made some great upgrades including a new gazebo at the pool which provided awesome shade from the heat! We will definitely stay again!

LOVELY HOME

The property was beautiful and clean. The owners were thoughtful and attentive. There was a cooler of drinks waiting for us on the back deck when we arrived. The pool was fabulous. There were 9 family members on this trip, and everyone enjoyed this house very much. It has an "out in the country" feel, but is convenient to stores and restaurants. The kids enjoyed feeding carrots and apples to the horses. We collected eggs from the coop daily, which were delicious. There were many inviting gathering areas around the property...it was hard to choose where to hang out. The fire pit is in a corral. We could not have a fire while we were there because of burn restrictions for the area, but the corral was so cool, we went out there at night to watch the full moon with no fire. It was great! I hope we can come back here again.

We had an excellent week — the house is a family home with everything you need to enjoy your time together. From board games to serving platters. And a hot tub. We had a wonderful time. You do need a car, for groceries, but the large kitchen and dining room make for an easy restaurant free time together.

Large house/property away from it all

Really enjoyed our stay here with extended family. A few things to note: 1 - It's very quiet, even tho there's a rooster. Tranquil and peaceful, truly a way to get away from it all. 2 - If you have mobility issues, please note there's a large step down from the dining area into the living area, across the width of it. Also, the only sleeping accommodations on main level are in the family room, a blow-up full mattress on a queen fold out sofa. 3 - Overall, the beds were sub-par for VRBO expectations. One creaked and the frame was broken underneath; one of the twin beds felt like the springs were poking through. 4 - The family room and master have their own bathrooms, and the other 4 rooms share the hallway bath, which is really small (3x3-ish shower, toilet, narrow sink/counter). If you know each other well enough to share the bathrooms more evenly, that will be helpful. 5 - Horses, chickens, and the entire outside was a true bonus, unexpected in a VRBO. Summer evenings outside were wonderful.

Hands down Best VRBO ever!

Awesome property, far enough from, close enough to town. Saltwater pool, nice hot tub. Fabulous set up for entertaining, or just hanging out! Got to know the 2 horses as well! More than 5 stars!

Happy Homestead!

Had a wonderful time in this lovely old homestead. Plenty of room for everyone and yet cozy at the same time. Kids loved the pool and feeding the horses! Would love to stay again if we’re in the area.

Fabulous Family Vacation

A truly unique property that made for an amazing week long family vacation with our three young kids (ages 4-9). First off, the property is incredible and the house well kept and well stocked! Mike and Coleen were tremendous hosts and we're very available and responsive to our questions. The pool, hot tub and surrounding area was truly remarkable and provided our family daily fun in the sun. We also loved the animals - collecting eggs from the chickens, interacting with the horses along the fence line and of course getting/giving love from the barn cat. The fit pit area made for a couple of good nights around the fire as well. The gas grill is big and was spotless. The house was large, comfortable, well maintained and has everything we needed for the week. Location also made a great jumping off point for day trips to the Turnbull Nature Reserve (+/-30 mins) and Priest Lake (+/- 2hrs). Would recommend to anyone looking for a great, unique family getaway!

Perfection in every way!

Only one word is needed to describe this...HOME! Coleen has thought of everything & more. The large gathering areas inside were fantastic: large dining table, wonderful couches around a wood burning stove and a chess table positioned by windows so you can watch “Dusty” & “Mustango” (horses) while you play. The kitchen is more than well equipped & very comfortable to cook in. The bedrooms have plenty of bedding & the bathrooms have an endless amount of towels/wash cloths. The hot tub & pool area is AMAZING!!! The bonfire area was a great way to end our evenings. Coleen thinks of everything & has blankets out there too. The whole property is just super inviting & relaxing. Not to mention only 10 mins from airport. FYI: Walmart & Dominos deliver to the house. We all live out of state & flew in to see our son, stationed at the AFB, get married. Thank you Coleen for making us all feel welcome & so comfortable we felt like we were at our own home. We would absolutely stay here again!

Just right!

Our family stayed for a second time at this location for a family Thankgiving. It was completely perfect in every way. Communication was top notch. The home itself is spacious yet so cozy at the same time. Fully stocked with everything you could need, from kitchen to game room to bedrooms to outdoor, with everything easy to find. And just beautiful! Between our families there, our ages ranged from 6 to 64 and everyone loved our stay. Total rating: EPIC! Thank you to our hosts for another memorable stay.

Worked out perfectly for our small group

We visited Spokane for a youth hockey tournament. The kids enjoyed running around the property. The property is very safe and easy to keep track of the kids. Good open floor plan with farm house appeal. The kids loved the horses, chickens and outdoor cats. We look forward to staying at Thorpe Westwood again!

Great location, lots of space

Loved this house. Very accommodating for lots of people. We were playing in a basketball tournament and the location wasn’t far from the gyms. The hot tub wasn’t working and the pool wasn’t usable due to snow. We hope to be back and enjoy all of the amenities

Enjoyed our stay!

Whenever you get together as family..... it is a good place to be. But this beautiful home and especially the yard made it even better. The days that we spent at the house we had lots to do. Playing in the nice pool, playing games in the spacious yard, watching the horses, listening to the chickens. Very relaxing! The days we were away from the house it was a wonderful comfortable place come home to. The owners are very accommodating. Thanks for a great week.
